Anyone one else just gets this feeling when watching the first movie. It's hard to explain but the "vibe" of the first Hunger Games movie feels so much different than its sequels. I can watch this movie a hundres times and i would still get this certain "feeling". It's just wonderful!

100% agree. There’s something darker and more disturbing about the first film. It’s hard to describe, but it’s like you can physically *feel* how wore down everyone is in it by the inevitable, and by the end you’re like them too for a while. I think the first film captures the tone of the books best.
The first movies vibe and feeling will always be my favorite. It has a creepy excitement that I feel like none of the other films captured.

This sure takes us back to 2012 watching that first trailer. Amazing how long it's been and how far it's come. Who else wants to erase their memories and re-live the entire experience of first reading the books and anticipating/watching the movies for the first time all over again! Re-reading and re-watching is awesome, but there's always something special about the first time you experience it all :)

The first movie, with its respective trailers and promos, are the best of all the saga. I dont care about the visual effects, i dont care about explotions and impressive shota. I care about the way the movie makes me feel. And the first one its really just wonderful.

Ikr. The plot is totally different from others. I can't find other movie like this one. It's painful, madness, traumatizing, and satisfying. I found few are good but they can't never make me feel like this movie. The books also good.

I preferred the first book/movie to Catching Fire. This was something, about the first book, which made me love it, the mystery, the romance, and yes, surprising my favourite character was Clove.

First time when I heard from the hunger games, I tought it wouldn't be that special. Then I found out what it is about, and I listened to this.
The only thing I was feeling was pure horror. But, in a amazing way... It's so hard to explain.

So nostalgic. I was ten when I first read The Hunger Games, a few months before the movie came out... now four years later I'm here, the movies and books finally over. I cannot believe this.
I was twelve!! omg, time flies!!
Man, i cannot properly describe the feeling of getting to read the first book with my whole english class together, before the movies barely came out, then becoming invested in the story and the world and the characters and the threats with nothing but my imagination to picture and feel everything and then FINALLY getting to listen to the trailer music for the first time. Like, it just completely matched the tone of what i imagined the world of the hunger games to be. A world of danger, trials, and trying to survive in this dystopian game from the future.
Read the books, Saw the Movies, Bought the Pin, listened to each and every song... AND STILL! It is'nt enough. I take my hat off.

Aah I miss the THG fandom so much, getting excited about new trailers, discussing the books...The Hunger Games has a special place in my heart as something that bound my best friend and me together even more. I love the books and the movies! I have catching fire and I love it! It's just something about this that makes me wish that we can go back in time to when it was just the first hunger games and before catching fire came out. Don't get me wrong I love it! It's just there's something that makes me wanna rewind and make it all about the first hunger games before catching fire.

Finally! I honestly, loved the first book, but I weren't to keen on Catching Fire. I'm not sure why? But I preferred, kids on kids, fighting against the odds. Who was going to die? Who was going to survive? Catching fire, I felt like no one was nervous, scared for the games, everyone was...excited?
The violin - it sounds so sinister, so tense, so... Chilling. I love it.

My favorite part starts at 0.40 and ends through the rest of this perfectly suspensed song of fright and the way the characters feel in both the movie and books. :) Perfect song choice and the movie was great. Best movie of the year I'd say. Can't wait for Catching Fire on November 22, 2013!!! :D
