    I agree with IVF 100% and their is no where in the bible that says IVF is wrong so i dont understand where the churches are turning it into a religion thing but if you dont agree with IVF thats your buisness people should just keep it to their selves and not make a public big deal out of it ❤❤❤

    I think the giving conversation may be that someone can't afford to give. Sometimes ppl have situations happen that can't participate in offering financially.

    Granger, Can you do a pod cast on the denunciation of your past before coming to faith? How do you deal with having made sinful albums and their continued circulation? Appreciate it.

    Podcast question:
    I don’t want my kids riding in the road. The cars go too fast on our dead end. I have repeatedly told them not to ride there. My husband on the other hand disregards my wish and let’s them do it. I am told that kids don’t comprehend danger or have the ability to know the rules of the road till they are 11-12 years old. I feel this teaches disrespect of me and that if they want something I won’t give them, they can just go to Dad. My husband says he just doesn’t agree with me on this so he allows them to ride anyways. I feel safety and backing each other up on safety issues is important? When he doesn’t listen to my concerns I feel unseen and like he doesn’t validate my feelings or even care to teach our kids to listen and respect my decisions as their mother. Have any advice in this situation? What should I do? I feel if my kid got hurt on our road and my husband disregarded me, I don’t think I could forgive him. It’s a big issue for me. He won’t listen. He does it when I’m not home. The cars are crazy. Thanks for considering my question.

      A painting is proof of its painter.
      A building is proof of its builder.
      And the creation is proof of the Creator.
      God does not owe us more evidence for his power other than the gigantic Planet full of amazing creatures on which He has placed us.
      He does not owe us more instructions than those that he wrote in the Bible.
      He does not owe us more warning than that which is provided by everyone's conscience before we make any moral decision.
      Surrender while you can.🙏

    Look at the fruit of social media. So much of it is bad. Doesn’t mean you can’t use it for good. The clinic we used is a very different experience it seems then what yall did. Also, we did INVOCELL IVF which means we did not “overstimulate” my ovaries and we have no leftover embryos. God brought me so close to Him through our infertility struggle. And there were so many God winks through our IVF. But I do agree with you on adoption and that conviction because I feel that too. But don’t agree that IVF is evil. Every baby is brought to life from God, He is the giver of life alone.

    Just gonna say: the fact that so many Protestants have such varying opinions on such an important issue as IVF is proof that the Church requires sacred tradition and the magisterium in addition to sacred scripture, which only the Catholic Church (and orthodox) can provide. As a famous ex-Protestant turned Catholic doctor of the faith once said “to be deep in history is to cease to be protestant”. Regardless, I love my Protestant brothers and sisters, especially Granger, whose first TH-cam sermon helped me realize the value of my life and repent of my wicked ways. ❤️

      The church will rob the elderly blind, so they are destitute while the pastors have private jets, and you're a heathen if you call it out.
      My grandparents were kicked out of their church for not meeting the tithing requirements, because their rent went up and they were on a fixed income.
      Religion as a whole is a joke, just weak people trying to gain control over weak minded people with promises of shit they know nothing about.
      I can tell you for certain, if their is a god of abraham, they don't give a shit if you have ivf or not. If that's the line in the sand for them, and not wars fought over religion, abuses of differing sects, sexual assault by heads of church, mass fraud to steel from charitable donations to line the pockets of religious leaders, and weaponized faith, well I'd say that's probably not a god worth following.

      Respectfully that’s not a valid argument in favor Catholicism. The Catholic Church is facing its share of issues now. Admittedly, Protestants aren’t looking so shiny right now either. The Smiths have helped so many but I did take a break from them when they chose the IVF route. God blessed them with a beautiful boy and God is sovereign. Find IVF troubling because embryos are discarded. If a family is committed to having all of the children they create it doesn’t mean it’s something we should support. Beautiful children are conceived from bad situations and each one is a blessing.

    • @SteveKilgore27
      @SteveKilgore27 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Jack-rh5ez the Catholic Church has been adamant about IVF for decades. Meanwhile Protestants are just getting around to it, and still cannot agree. With the Catholic Church, while there is room for disagreement on some issues, others are not up for debate.
      With IVF, the problem is not just with embryos being discarded, the problem is that IVF separates the procreative aspect from the unitive aspect of sex.

    The problem with adoption is that there is a very long line of people waiting for babies. And you could use the same logic the Granger used against IVF for adoption. I know why Granger was vague with the emails. Adoption agencies are allowing those same people to adopt, so you could say adoption is just like IVF if that is the logic you are using. Evil people use hammers to kill other people, that doesn't make the hammer inherently evil.

    • @SteveKilgore27
      @SteveKilgore27 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Except adoption doesn’t create a bunch of lives with the knowledge that some of it will be killed or remain in cryostasis forever.

    • @SteveW79-2K
      @SteveW79-2K 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @SteveKilgore27 yeah that's a big reason people have a problem with it. If there was a way to only gather say 2 eggs to fertilize, it wouldn't be an issue. If they both took and survived, the parents would need to accept a twin pregnancy. Accepting the possibility of twins would need to be agreed upon prior to starting the process

    • @SteveKilgore27
      @SteveKilgore27 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SteveW79-2K no, IVF is also intrinsically disordered. It separates the procreative action of the sexual embrace from the unitive action and pleasure of it. It’s the same idea as masturbation being sinful because it separates the pleasure from the unitive and procreative aspects of sexuality.

      Why are you so sure God doesn't work through modern medicine? How would you know?

    • @SteveKilgore27
      @SteveKilgore27 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@clarkkent7638 that’s the exact same argument that trans people use to justify their surgeries and hormone treatments. There’s a difference between modern medicine helping to aid a biological process like intercourse through the use of medications, like using sildenafil for erectile dysfunction (which is morally okay), and completely removing intercourse from the procreative act, as occurs in IVF (which is morally wrong).
