Back when halo 4 was released I was skeptical and did expect that what they delivered at least. With Halo 5 me and my brother sad there and thought "That's all?" Played it through on day one after like 4h.
Great video man, I liked the comedy of your video and how it was very factual of how 343 probably could toast a piece of bread correctly. However, in the end the only way I think Halo can recover from 343 is by it dying, in death Halo can find rebirth. As something I see many people not talk about is, if Halo Infinite succeeds 343's greed will also be allowed to continue. Halo's future is in turmoil if 343 wins with this game. As 343 is already showing their greed with the MCC.

The foundation of Bungie's Halo games was about making a fun video game to play. Each game, even if you didn't like the changes, improved/expanded on what came before it. Hell, the game's actually innovated with community features, forge, and custom game types. Although not considered an Arena shooter by Quake fans, the game still had its roots and payed respects to genre while still doing its own thing. Halo set its own fucking trends, it didn't follow them. 343 on the other hand, is the complete opposite of Bungie. There is no intention to make a fun video to play. The interest lies in milking the consumer through microtransactions, removal of features, half completed games that have less content than the games that came before it etc. 343 chases trends, it does not set them. For the record, the MCC was a mistake. The collection was too ambitious for a console that couldn't handle the intensity of porting over 4 Halo games and all of their content. It would have been far easier and better to just release Halo 2 Anniversary by itself, update the graphics/sounds, leave the gameplay/physics alone, and apply that to the MP/Campaign without touching a single thing on the maps (thus preserving the spirit and feel of the original game).
It sucks cause infinites base gameplay is really fun. It’s just that their ideology of trying to squeeze as much money out of players by any means necessary sucks any enjoyment out of the game. Really wish 343 would just let their talented devs do their thing and make a fun game but the higher ups need their money.

I agree halo 2 anniversary is one of the best looking games I’ve ever seen (cutscenes specifically which you could mistake for being live action). Although even this u can’t give 343 the complete credit considering that the remaster was handled by saber interactive. And the stuff 343 did do (the gameplay changes as well as the servers etc.) where all received terribly. To this day I still don’t understand why 343 decided on changes the games maps, physics, weapons, balance, etc.

They tricked me with infinite. Wasn't until I was done with the campaign that I realized I was tricked. They had to have paid for some of the reviews. No way is that game better than a 7 worth all the problems and everything it is missing
Hot take: I actually enjoyed Halo 4; Campagin, Spartan Ops (who remembers that), Multiplayer, and all. However, when Halo 5 released and co-op Campaign was no longer there (meaning I couldn’t play with my Dad who was sitting next to me) my 12yr old self decided to take the game and throw it in the back of his car trunk and leave it buried there, completely forgotten. Funny thing is, it worked for a good 3-4yrs. and when I unearthed it wanting to play Halo with friends, Heoric/Mythic Warzone Firefight became an instant love… I was the main person giving 343i some slack thinking they’d improve with Infinite while everyone else was hating them but now? I find myself after having beaten Infinite on Legendary and spending a couple months in Multiplayer (I found out on initial release that the Battle Passed costed $200 to complete) I completely uninstalled it as Halo was dead to me. I only wish Gears of War doesn’t follow in the same footsteps, because it’s been 6yrs. since 5 was released and though it’s great for Horde Mode, it was terrible for Multiplayer and Campaign Edit: Halo Infinite’s campaign made no sense when you paid REAL close attention to the dialogue and asked questions almost every sentence that was spoken.

It's very good when everything is working as it should but in the same breath is equally maddening how once again 343i dropped the ball big time. I do hope they fix it, and soon, but I'm not holding my breath either. Even almost a decade in, 343i has yet to prove MS made the right decision to hand them the key to one of their marquee titles. I wouldn't be malding so much if the game is outright garbage - I would just walk away and play other games but the spattering of good things make me stay and give it countless chances.

I agree I am glad they stuck with it until it was fully fixed instead of just giving up on the game, (ala EA and Ubisoft) but the game never should’ve launched like that in the first place. Release a game when it’s ready not a beta test to patch overtime.
I feel like almost every halo 343 game is good in some way. 4 (Personally) was decent. It isn't terrible but could've been better. 5 had great multiplayer, one of the best multiplayer i played in 2015-2017. Campaign did suck. Infinite, now in a finished state for once, is generally a good game. Classic stuff is back, Gameplay is kinda replayable. Campaign was fine. Again not terrible. So yeah 343 does suck. They aren't the best at all, but each of these games have a good side. Especially infinite. And im not saying "Oh forget about the start of them" Because you shouldn't, keep those memories, and use them against a terrible company. I personally like all of these games since there is at least one good thing about them.
Good video, although in my preference you could do with a lot less f-bombs. I do understand the usage of it to express frustration and disappointment but it was rather over the top and there are other ways to express those feelings.
Yea sorry about that it’s just been in my vocabulary forever so I kinda just do it naturally when I’m not in a formal setting or anything like that. I do always make sure that my videos are marked as “not for kids” but I know there are still ways for them to work around that. Hey, love the video. However i find that repetition, although funny. Can start to get annoying after long periods of time. Also you tend to lean without audio for long periods of time. I may not have any videos myself, but in the future i would aim to maybe to make clips shorter so that people can come here more for you than for just a slide show presentation with you flipping back and forth. Still following you tho!
As someone who never really cared for Halo (especially Master Chief and the main games that follow him) I finally did play through the entire MCC on my Xbox Series X, now I'd already played Halo 3 ODST and Reach and LOVED them for what they were on Xbox 360, but Halo 1/2 AE/3/4 were new to me. I actually REALLY LOVED Halo 4 honestly 🤷♂️ I would put it up alongside ODST/Reach personally for "Favourite", I mean so is Halo 2 AE actually and I do respect Halo 1 (or AE anyway) since I played it back to back about 3 times on Legendary with my friend who has been an Xbox and Halo fanboy since the beginning so there's that 🤷♂️

to be fair, at least 343 updated the MCC until it was actually good, so now we can play the good Halo games from Bungie.

I agree I am glad they stuck with it until it was fully fixed instead of just giving up on the game, (ala EA and Ubisoft) but the game never should’ve launched like that in the first place. Release a game when it’s ready not a beta test to patch overtime.

I feel like almost every halo 343 game is good in some way. 4 (Personally) was decent. It isn't terrible but could've been better.
5 had great multiplayer, one of the best multiplayer i played in 2015-2017. Campaign did suck.
Infinite, now in a finished state for once, is generally a good game. Classic stuff is back, Gameplay is kinda replayable. Campaign was fine. Again not terrible.
So yeah 343 does suck. They aren't the best at all, but each of these games have a good side. Especially infinite. And im not saying "Oh forget about the start of them" Because you shouldn't, keep those memories, and use them against a terrible company.
I personally like all of these games since there is at least one good thing about them.
Good video, although in my preference you could do with a lot less f-bombs. I do understand the usage of it to express frustration and disappointment but it was rather over the top and there are other ways to express those feelings.
Yea sorry about that it’s just been in my vocabulary forever so I kinda just do it naturally when I’m not in a formal setting or anything like that. I do always make sure that my videos are marked as “not for kids” but I know there are still ways for them to work around that. I have considered using a censor before, will likely experiment with it. Thanks for the feedback tho and I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

Hey, love the video. However i find that repetition, although funny. Can start to get annoying after long periods of time. Also you tend to lean without audio for long periods of time. I may not have any videos myself, but in the future i would aim to maybe to make clips shorter so that people can come here more for you than for just a slide show presentation with you flipping back and forth.

As someone who never really cared for Halo (especially Master Chief and the main games that follow him) I finally did play through the entire MCC on my Xbox Series X, now I'd already played Halo 3 ODST and Reach and LOVED them for what they were on Xbox 360, but Halo 1/2 AE/3/4 were new to me. I actually REALLY LOVED Halo 4 honestly 🤷♂️ I would put it up alongside ODST/Reach personally for "Favourite", I mean so is Halo 2 AE actually and I do respect Halo 1 (or AE anyway) since I played it back to back about 3 times on Legendary with my friend who has been an Xbox and Halo fanboy since the beginning so there's that 🤷♂️
This is the reason I don't play halo and I have a playstation and I uncharted
