I own the English Electric works model of the DG. The works model of the DF is in the UK's National Railway Museum. Both commisioned by EE from Clarkson of York.
Awesome Video mate!!! Great to see someone caught the Pantograph coming down. I love the shot that shows the DG and EO heading to their sheds, plus the TR shunting the carriages away.
As a retired sparks driver from Australia ,and NZ fan, I love this video. Great museum.

sounds like a BR Class 31. I suppose it's the same engine. Brilliant sound at 4:40!
Excellent!!!
I assume these horns will be in the next full noise
Is the withdrawl date on the EMU Correct? I thought they were in service until only a few years ago?
I believe you are thinking of the Toshiba EA locos that were reclassified as Eo when TMS was introduced.
You can actually see the Ea in the background at 9:29
It's like 20 class Malayan Railway 1957.
It’s does quite resemble it,sadly the Class 20 is mostly scrapped for good
I actually had to steal a screenshot of DM 27 crossing the trolley bus
Two Wellington icons!
Shame the trolley buses still running in wellington will be on their way out at the end of this month (september)
more CRAPPY MUSIC ruining a nice train movie!
Jeez lighten up mate, a 15 second intro with music ruined the whole video for you?
