Explained in the video about how to bake 2nd time.
If you want to know on cooktop, then it should be baked in a kadai or cooker on very low flame.

Did you cut the slices too thick?
Try fliping and Baking until crisp. Make sure it's crisp throughout otherwise it will turn soggy the next day.

I followed the recipe with the exact measurements but the rusks turned very hard outside and soft on the inside. I didn’t cut them too thick. A little help please

Hello, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Sometimes because of various reasons it comes out soft. Let's say, temperature, time of cooking, etc.
Just keep and eye and see if it has become crisp or not. 5 mins plus minus can happen.

Tried this and turned out sooo hard, not just that it became dark and burnt within 15mins of baking😔
Did I do any mistake in preheating?
I preheated for 10mins at 180°c then tried to bake it for 25-30 mins at 180°c that it turned dark within 15mins
I tried this recipe, came out really well.. but it became soft 2nd day after storing in air tight container.. What could be the reason ?

No I stored them when they cooled completely

Yes, very little softness was there in the center but it was crisp, turned good golden brown color on all sides
Okay. That is the reason it softened.
Next time make sure it gets crisp inside out. If required let it bake for 2 minutes extra.😊👍

You should have baked them for a longer time
Yes. If it's still soft, bake for little longer time. It will turn crisp.
