Scary Monsters was my entry album, then bought ZS and HD on cassettes ( new, but at some kind of bargain price or two for one package) on the same day. Discovered the brilliance...... add the letter t and you've got.... Who Can It Be Now.......
not an artist i have ever been a big fan of, but have of late been getting into his music, did used to have the tin machine albums and loved them, maybe time to get some albums, man your collection is vast on bowie, cheers richard
Hi Richard!!! Hard to believe there's only one video left in the series..... and yes you had the best for the last episodes. It's always cool to see your Bowie studio collection, official and "unofficial" ones too and hear your thoughts about them. As you know i'm just a casual fan, just know the big songs and maybe a greatest hits or "Ziggy Stardust...." is all i need. cheers and be well
I had virtually all Bowie's albums from the 70s , buying them as they came out. Sadly, over the years i sold them all along with hundreds of other albums. Yes, i could weep, but have everything now on CD.
Bowie was HUGE in the 70s. I was lucky to see him in 78 or 79 (I’ve forgotten which year). When he played station to station it could be heard SUBURBS away. The stir it caused the next day in the papers/news was epic😂
I didn't notice any of the 1991 reissues. I have a couple of them Young Americans being one of them. It seems to have the same track listing as the one you talked about on the alternate sleeve version. Pasi
Man, Richard, you have serious FOMO on Bowie, don't you? LOL! I have been collecting for most of my life, and I have never understood the necessity of having pressing after pressing of the same thing - when are you going to listen to all of them? It just seems like the money could be better spent on more diverse selections. But that's me, and I know a lot of people do the same thing. I only have multiples if I needed a new copy because it was in better shape, or they're released as a box set, and I have multiple CDs of albums I already had on vinyl, but that's as far as I went with that. Looking forward to the conclusion of this series, I have LOVED this whole thing!
Cheers TC, I should know better with regards to multiple copies but I just can't help myself. I'm not the worst offender though. I know people have bought about 13 different coloured vinyls for McCartney III which makes me feel excused! lol
@@CookieMusic43Yes , it is an obsession, I have around 20 albums each of Space to Diamond dogs, Japanese , Britain, US , South African, do I need all of these , No I don’t , nice video btw Richard !
Hi Richard
only one word suitable for this video.....WOW!
lol, I wonder what the suitable word will be for the 2nd Bowie video Lloyd?
What a great collection you have, looking forward to part 2.
Thanks!
Excellent DB collection Richard
Thank you Giovanni!

Having the music is the most important thing.
David Bowie: #1 all time!
100% agree!

It would have been brilliant to see him in 79, the first time I saw him was in 83 and I loved every minute of it.
