- Welcome back, today we will be comparing wwe 2k23 finishers with wwe 2k14 finisher animations. Both games are 10 years apart and all the animations has changed over the years. It's more simulation style now rather than arcade. Some animations does look better now but some finishers like the stone cold stunner and 619 were better before in my oppion. Let me know what you think. Which one you prefer the most and do like the video.

The setup for people's elbow in 2k14 is better, but the actual move (hit) is better today, hope they could combine 'em somehow

Wwe 2k14 is just a better game overall yes the graphics are better in the newer version but thats it💯💯
A small detail I wish they would implement is the ability to select your charged finished taunt in 2k24
The wake up taunts are good, but I’d love to be able to do a more generic wake up taunt while building to the finisher, then get the Orton ground pound that goes straight into the finish.
I wish the stunner still had that oversell

On 2k14 they had triple h looking at the fans like in a tag moment with Shawn and the stunner animation can from the rock he would be the main doing flips when he got stunned

The way you could run and hit the wake up taunt with Randy Orton made it even better hate they didn’t put it in the rest of the games
i'm going with 2014 here because you can create your own finisher,title belt and arena and it has oh so much more in it but when 2k15 came out it was all gone and its been like that ever since and i cant take it anymore,i want what was 2014 back and i want it back now.

It depends on how those games both have great things like WWE 2k14 have a WrestleMania showcase mode and the undertaker's streak mode but WWE 2k23 got better graphics and a better myrise mode
The stunner is so cool in 14
I noticed this with old vs new the old games the opponent feels a lot closer to them but new ones the wrestler stands at a perfect position just slightly away from the opponent
2k14 had better animations tbh since they got smooth animations
Overall, I think WWE 2K23 has better animations. They're more smooth and fluid. They feel more natural. Plus I wasn't too keen on having the opponent get sent flying towards the ropes on finishers to keep dragging them away.
There are some move animations that I do prefer from WWE 2K14. Mainly the Future Shock, Batista Bomb, Clothesline From Hell, and Rock Bottom (I think that 2k22 version is better as well) animations are better than 2k23 as they look a lot better.
The Trouble In Paradise, I like both but I'd rather have the performance of 2k14 with the sell of 2k20. Especially considering that you could run into it.
I like the bit of resistance before pulling into the Jackhammer in 2k14 but overall, I prefer 2k23.
And I like both versions of the RKO but I don't know what they did to the 2k14 version. They removed the ability to run into for some reason and I don't think that it has the step into it on the standing version. It just feels like stuff is missing.
I do wish that there were options for more stylised moves like the 2k14 Stunner sells and Superkick animation instead of making them very similar and the Stunner sells look off in 2k23.

2K improved with the moves (2k14 wasn't their game tho)

Honestly, the sell and the impact with the ring looked a lot better in 2k14 for most of these
I thought 2k14 is better than 2k23, but 2k23 finisher moves is better than 2k14
2K14 had better motions before the finisher
Am I the only one that prefers the sound of the ring in 2k14, it’s ok now but I prefer the sound 2k14’s ring makes when a wrestler takes a bump
