Birbs are just like other pets. Give them constant attention, toys, treats, etc., all the time, and you will spoil them. Almost any pet - birb, dog, cat, rabbit, gerbil - well, I don't know about gerbils; I don't think they have a clue, but they sure do like those scritches for their itches! Almost any pet can become spoiled around you.
