Nice fish guy. And the added narrative is a good thing. Also beard is coming in nice. Happy holidays to u and urs.

Thanks, Jason!!! I probably wouldn’t have narrated at all had I not lost the footage… So maybe it was a happy accident!!! 😂… Also I regret to inform you, I shaved the beard this morning… I have a dress code at work I had been ignoring for No Shave November… 😂

Good to see you catching fish. How long was that trout?

Man this one was an adventure… Seems like everything that could go wrong did… And then on top of that, I lost at least half the footage…
That trout was 17.5 inches. Not a trophy, but a great fish.

you ever catch shad( bait fish) around Cave Run Lake with a cast net?

I have… But to be honest… it can be tough… It’s not like a lot of lakes where they are everywhere… A lot of time I have to find the schools on my fish finder and then throw on them…
The truth is that the numbers are just not there… The lake is considered a relatively low nutrient lake and that’s what they feed off of…
One trick that I like to do is put my crappie light out for an hour or so and let them start to school at night… then throw on them… Otherwise it’s really difficult to find them.

@@NOMADFISHERMAN I went musky fishing there yesterday and saw shad off and on all day on my Live Scope but I got a cheap cast net from walmart that sinks to slow, the shad was running about 15' deep in 20-30' of water. I'm trying to find good live bait for Musky and Crash's Landing isn't getting any more for the year.

It might be too far to drive… But bypass bait and tackle in Flemingsburg typically keeps live bait year round.
Yeah I have to order cast nets off the internet… 😂

Yeah man… I’ve been incredibly busy this winter. And I’ve had some bad luck with some camera failures. I’m planning on going out in the next couple evenings… Fingers crossed I will get some footage worthy of a video… Hopefully will be able to get back in the swing of things very soon
