my dear friend I am super happy that you are interested in turkey (or turkiya now) the documentary channel "140journos" is actually biased channel which is funded by foreign media towards a certain political group so it may alter your view on turkey. (but you can watch it if you want to its up to you.
I was looking for something like this! I'm not ready to really dive into studying yet (I only do a little bit here and there), but right now even just listening to Turkish videos is so helpful! Thanks!!!
Ahhh thank you very much! I had had such a hard time finding this kind of content creators, TH-camrs to learn Turkish, I just had you, Easy Turkish, Reşat Ören and yırtık pantolon!!
Please recommend channels with cc and subtitles for the deaf and the hard of hearing. They help one recognize the words said and then we can look them up. Keep up the good work. Can, YOU ROCK. MOST KICKASS TH-camRS ARE THOSE OF TURKISHLE.
Thank you! It was a really usefull episode. To improve my Turkish I like to watch Ali Yılmaz'ın channel! He is very productive and he films a lot of live streams, videos, short videos. I find his channel very usefull if not the most usefull. Also I can recommend to everyone Yunus Emre Enstitüsü'nün channel - they have a proper structured playlist with lessons starting from A1 level. Of course I know Easy Turkish - they are famous and it's always interesting to hear the opinion of Turkish people on the streets. Another channel for Turkish learners is HepTürkçe. Ve tabii ki sizin kanalınız çok güzel ve faydalı, çok kaliteli videolar çekiyorsunuz! Tebrikler!
I have been crazily searching for some good TH-camrs until I found out this video of yours. Thankyou so much Can . I'll definitely check out all these !!👍👍💜
This was helpful. Thank you. Can you also recommend common, popular Turkish songs, please? These could be typical songs you sing at birthdays, weddings, reunions, folklore, for children, etc. Teşekkürler.
@@ruzgarkockar3572 I don't know much about Turkey and people's choices but I really love Cem Adrian's songs . Is he also one of the top singers ? Like .. What's ur opinion about him .
Hi John, I have a question I have a friend who is stuck there in turkey at the instuble airport . He was in an Uber accident and had to be in the hospital there for a month . He got out and the airport would not take his ticket home because it was a month old. And he’s out of money. Are there any organizations that can help him get home ? Thankyou Melinda😇🙏🌸❤️
I will be visiting Turkey and I really need a good guide for all my trips which happen to be traveling to a number of cities, I really like to meet you for this. Could you please reply to me? Thank you and take care.
Hello can Hope you don't forget yasko he is also among the biggest yutubers in turkey because he always show the turkish culture specially turkish food ❤
I would like to recommend “Sözler köşkü” and “Altay Cem Meriç” for religious people. These are the greatest islamic channels in turkish. Sözler köşkü has a lot of videos with english subtitles.

I have two questions if you could answer them. 1: What is with 40 years? I saw a lot in tv series that oh our friendship is like 40 years old or you broke this 40-year long relationship etc 2: What is with 4/4. we in Pakistan have 10/10 which is used to describe that thing is of very good quality. what does 4/4 represent?
The first question is a term for Turkish coffee. We say that a cup of coffee has 40 years of love and respect. In other words with this mistake you have made it means that you have finished the 40 years of love and respect between us. The second question means that something "dört dörtlük" is in utterly perfect condition.
4/4(Dört dörtlük) means really good or perfect but you can not see 3/4 or 2/4. It's a phrase. If you wanna rate something you should do like normally you do 4/5 ,8/10 or 80/100. And 40 is an important number(traditional) we can see it at relationships, daily life, stories, epics and more. Actually, I do not know the reason behind it.
@@cigdem3333 thanks for the clarification. One last thing is this 40 years thing only related to Turkish coffee or it can used anywhere of high importance?
Selam. How r u Mr. Can. Please note that I want to learn Turkish language so I request you to please teach me and is that possible that you may teach me online. Please advise
Turkishle sizin videolarınız için çok teşekkürler. Apart frome the ones you have shared, for absolute beginners A1 level gibi, I would recommend Online TurkishLessons and Tamer Yıldırım. For B and C levels Ali Yılmaz is a great teacher, and for Spanish native speakers there is an awesome channel: Dr. Colete Moya Gramatica Turca Sin Mamoneos. (GTSM) Gracias a el entendí el famoso sufijo -dik y un montón de funciones de -ecek. Also in Spanish Escuela de Turco del canal preciosa sangre.
