Well here it is everyone .The long awaited latest vid from the man from the forest . He may not put out as many vids as he once did but the quality of content is excellent .Some how the blogs resonate and this can only be due to the honesty in which they are made with the primal concern for nature .Well done my friend.
No TV needed with your view Jim, simply beautiful a privilege to watch. Its amazing how much wildlife resides in a modestly sized meadow, modern livings blindness to such sights is our loss. A great Christmas gift from one of my favourite filmmakers. Thanks for sharing!!
I haven't had a TV for about ten years now Wayne, and I've never missed it. In fact it's added a quality that I didn't expect, sitting quiet just watching the wildlife is so important and it is absolutely a loss to society. When I first got the camera out I was just filming random stuff but it didn't take long to realise these are the same animals, this is there home as well and that blew me away knowing that I was so privileged to be part of it, and lucky to be in a position to document a small part of it. This was done though tongue in cheek, just a giggle for the Grandchildren. I've been telling them for years that I talk to them and some of them talk back, this is the proof, ha ha. Thanks as always my friend appreciate you watching and all the best.
Thanks Asa, all good here my friend, just back from a few days in Dartmoor. Love it down there and hope to get back soon with the cameras. Hope your well and all the best.
Oh! Jim, what a delight to see you pop up on my TH-cam feed, hope you are keeping well my friend, all the very best for the year ahead and take care and hopefully more videos will be dropping? great to see you back Jim 🙂
God bless you Jim and Debbie and Steve. Great to hear that your van is back up and running. A great watch and listen Jim from start to finish with so, so many delightful highlights. If I had to pick one it would be your footage of those beautiful deer joyfully playing, so innocent. Thank you for sharing this wonderful 30 minutes with us. Merry Christ Mas 👍😊
Thank you Paul, such a joy to make this video. For so long I was just collecting random clips never thinking it would come to anything, maybe a wildlife film for the kids, just a laugh, but I really feel I know these animals now and I still see most of them most days. Maybe I'll do another one day just on the Crow-Jackdaw and Magpies as they are the majority down there but this vid was about the innocence and beauty, and a giggle for my Grandchildren. Hope you are well my friend and all the very best.
@@JimHolden You have put those clips to very good use Jim and yes, we do get to know and dare I say become attached to our wildlife friends who grace us with their comings and goings as they get on with life. A privilege to witness. 😊👍
Some incredible footage there Jim - claire and co were delightful but that Green Woodpecker just wasn't going away. Aside from the nature, it's good to see you uploading and back out. Yours is a voice that is most welcome every time. Well, here's to 2025 old mate - I hope it's full of joy and wonder in your newly fixed van. All the very best. mark
Thank you Mark, really appreciate that but as I said this is a bit of a one off video. No more plans until spring, busy busy I'm afraid but I did have a few days down Dartmoor before Christmas, no cameras just fresh air and peace. I'm in the north now with my seven Grandchildren and this vid was made with them in mind, bit of a giggle for Christmas. Hope you are well Mark and all the very best for 2025.
@@JimHolden A pleasure Jim - good to get this one out of your bro. Good to hear you had some time out at Christmas - and the kids? Superb. Me? Keeping fit and overcoming a long i jury at long last. Cheers there.
Aww...what an inspiring vid Jim Though have to say I found the speeded up audio in places a bit weird. I love your appreciation and sharing of the wildlife you have observed. Please post more often! Ps....don't even get me started on how much I want a van....! Take care.
Thank you Sarah, making this vid was so much fun, with my seven Grandchildren in mind throughout. I wanted it to be a bit out there, just a giggle for the kids. Van life is the best. What started out as a idea to save money has turned into a way of life for me and I won't go back now, it'll be eight years full time come spring. All the best Sarah.
What a way to end 2024 , with a Jim Holden masterpiece , Thank you .
Beautiful footage Jim, Happy new year and all the best for 2025!
