What a handsome young man who seems pretty well spoken. It goes to show addiction can creep up on ANYBODY! I think its admirable to speak out on it and hopefully educate and help others through his story. I hope he is staying clean and doing well.

when i was in high school..I had a friend who was introduced to heroin at a party and that day on he was hooked on it. he dropped out of school couple months during that school year and ran away from his parents and quit his bagger job and year later he calls me on a private number and i meet him at this motel... he looked ill and sickly as hell... he asked me for money and i gave him like 200 dollars first time and he calls me couple weeks later for more money and then i realize he was using

Wow, i was off the wall my first time. I called everyone and screamed at them at how great i was feeling and no one could stop me.. Oh well 4 years clean though!

He's right man he ain't lying I did it for the first time and I threw up but once you get use to it you won't throw up anymore but it's been almost a year since I did heroin so if I would do it now I would likely throw up but the main thing is when you don't have it you go threw phase like body aces nausea

when i was 10 years old did me and a group of friends make drugs and weed we were VERY young and stupid and when i say we were does it mean we haven't stopped we are smoking weed much i am hiding my dark side everyday every second it is so hard when my parents found at did send me to foster parents when they found drugs in my bedroom did they kick me out of the house i were only 16 years old now are im 23 and i'm still an addict :(
Hypothetically if a person could wait 2-3 months between highs do you think that level of heroin use could be a positive thing than person's life?

And that's not true. I've been clean for 2 years, then relapsed after needing a surgery and remebering the feeling of the pain medication. I'm more then 6 months clean now again.

That's because Uma Thurman's character snorted the amount of heroin that you would ordinarily snort for cocaine. It takes much less heroin to get off.

1. there's no caffeine plant, there's coffee. 2. all of those drugs you listed has to have human contact and it has to be processed or have additives added to it. Marijuana you can pick from the plant and smoke it.
@Donifts i don't see why it matters if its a plant, a drug is defined as A substance that has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body, so i don't see why it matters that there plants.
Heroin addiction is no fucking joke. Same with oxycodone and hydrocodone. If anybody thinks that doing oxycodone or hydrocodone is different than doing heroin its not. The shit feels pretty much the same unless your an IV user. First time i tried IV i did it myself and missed. I look back on that day and realize that i got lucky. Smoke the dope, snort the dope, plug the dope, but do not iv the dope.

Every person I've known who died off dope was IVing except one I think who was smoking crack and sipping street methadone and he'd had collapsed lungs from it multiple times before.

Hope you stay clear of it... the withdrawal symtoms should be enough to stay away from it forever?! If you look what people have to go through!! Hell pure! I have never tryed it thank god! Never will!! Although I have another addiction and that is smoking :((( Wish I could stop! Guess I would if I'd get serious withdrawal :(
@NNnecknewwhore when i started doin H i kinda had the same thing. about 4 hrs after i'd take a boot, i'd get sick. you can call it withdrawals but i think its just more of the body's reaction to the poison. you know like the reaction to puke when ya drink too much or whatev. the initial stimulus (er well downer lol) of it chills ur body out but after a while it realizes it doesnt like that shit so it makes ya puke and such.
@RainK9 would you know, people dont know shit a needle would be hard but u can smoke or snort heroin for quite awhile without getting addicted...

When I was young I snorted H during the weekends. I never became addicted, touch a needle, or end up in the hospital/jail. I think it has much more to do with self control. Even as a teenager I understood that anything in excessive amounts/amounts of time would be detrimental in someway or another. I can only speak for myself and friends of mine as a teenager... so I don't really "get it". But good luck to anyone who is having any problems? Obviously don't mix and match.

Daniel Diaz for me at least.. get too paranoid and can’t sit still like I’ve had 10 cups of coffee.. just doesn’t feel good at all, smaller amounts or larger amounts doesn’t matter.. Indica or sativa.. it all sucks for me. used to smoke every week too because sometimes I’d have a semi pleasant experience w it but..... it’s Just not for everyone

Obviously, you can get laced weed that is sold as normal weed and it could be far worse for you, per dose, than everything in that list that isn't a bath salt...

it's sexy because a heroin addict succeeds in not giving a fuck about anything at all. a lot of people wish they could manage to just care less. people admire other's ability to put everything in perspective and not really get emotionally affected by daily occurrences. Granted, the reason for this is that we care about nothing else in the world but heroin, but they forget that, and mistake it for us just not caring about anything at all

Where shall I start? He's emaciated, he looks chronically dehydrated too. Sure, he's not a bad looking guy by any stretch, but he doesn't look healthy at all. He's very underweight for a start, he doesn't need to put on much weight at all, but he looks like he hasn't eaten in ages. He just looks like he's been in one heck of a punch up. He's not ugly, he just doesn't look well.

You can't smoke heroin. You have to vaporize it on tin foil, snort it, or IV it. But don't do it. Really, sell it to some junkie for some weed or flush it down the toilet. Coming from someone who uses and is addicted to it. DONT DO IT!

addiction. what is it? are people hooked on the dope or the feeling of being doped? it's interesting to note that this question implies that their are in fact two aspects of people. their bodies and their minds. perhaps there is a nonphysical part of everything in this universe. addiction seems like an observable example of this dynamic... the body likes the drug, the mind likes how the drug feels.

Sniffing heroin is NOTHING compared to shooting it. Shooting it you get 100% in you..one time I passed out for an hour after I did it. And passed out with my head in a trashcan after puking. The high is great yeah but it really does ruin your life trust me. I recently quit.

Why does it say "inevitable severe addiction?" Inevitable = certainty, but only about 1/4 of people who try heroin become addicted. Yes it's the most addicting drug, but clearly far from certain.

Real heroin IS INDEED "pretty spectacular". Just like you might look at a woman or flying bird or river and realize the beauty they have, the beauty heroin has is for me atleast insurmountable and Ive never been able to forget it, the dreamy hallucinations (not like LSD,) the comfort and total immunity to all guilt, shame, loneliness and shyness. In fear of beginning a poem Ill shut up, but thats why ppl cant leave it alone. I miss heroin so fucking much and yet its killing me.

a plant and a drug are 2 different things, yes. but saying mj aint a drug but a plant is like saying spaghetti isnt food but it's pasta. mj is a plant, yes, but if you dry it in the sun and roll it in a joint and smoke it, it becomes a drug. hope that makes sense.

I hate to say it but the strong ones will come to the end of that road and decide they want to live and some won't. I had to nearly lose my life a few times to get there. Make a list of things you would do anything to live for. And believe that heroin can take that all away in one shot. It's the fear that keeps me sober now!

To be fair you have to process the others, I can see what he means as Marijuana is in its perfect form straight off the plant without any additions, but id agree it still is a drug, of course it is
