Batman was always a detective before the creatives turned him into a superhero that fought aliens. When it comes to the superhero genre, I haven't watched anything like this since Raimi and Nolan trilogies ended.

This is what DC needs to be; darker and psychological. It's the complete opposite of MCU. MCU has been successful with its own style and fans enjoy to see their tone while The Batman brings completely different and opposite feel to the Super Hero genre. It's not a masterpiece but certainly a first of its kind in Super Hero genre.
