I read your articles in HL first for every new issue, and I was happy to see such a worthy successor to the legendary Ken Waters for the Pet Loads column. My interests lean mostly towards revolvers and bullet casting, especially Keith designs. I have a couple ideas for videos. I am particularly interested in your McPhee mold, the old Ideal 429421 you wrote an article on maybe 10 or so years ago. Would you be able to do a short video of that mold with come close up shots, and maybe include how it differs from the current Lyman variant for better or worse? Another idea, maybe a video series on your favorite molds in each caliber?
Would love a series of videos featuring all those classic handguns you touched on in the intro video. I remember a story of a trade for a Walther PP from a friend??? Ended up on the gate post or something ? You have such a great collection. Certainly would love to watch them go bang as well !
It would be fun to have Brian revisit his Handloader magazine article on Elmer's 600 yd. shot on the wounded deer. Most people have no idea what can be accomplished with a good pistol and a proven load.
@@PKCPA69 Great idea. Casting bullets would be a great series. And showing off those outstanding revolvers. Maybe a couple per episode talking about if they had any work done to them. A close look at them both sides.
Hi Brian. My name is Greg Perry, and I have been a fan of yours since March 4, 1997. On that day my middle daughter Jane was born. While my wife was taking a nap in her hospital room and Jane was in the nursery getting a bath, I walked across the street to a bookstore and bought a copy of Peterson's Handguns magazine. You had an article on top handloads for the .45 Colt, I became hooked on your byline, and have been a huge fan ever since. I now read you every month in Wolfe's Rifle and Handloader magazines. This is great to see that you are now on TH-cam. How about a video of you demonstrating some long range sixgunning with some of your favorite classic revolvers?
Brian so nice to see you joining your sons as I’m sure they welcome dad‘s tutelage. I’ve been a huge fan since the Wolfe Publishing days (rifle/handloader/successful hunter) I believe you penned a few articles in the short lived Successful Hunter Magazine. Fondly remember you telling a story of John Wayne and your family moving horses for Duke as he knew your father if I recall correctly. I’m sure everyone would love to hear more of your ranching stories along with hunting tales. Aside from firearms, hand loading and hunting one could always ascertain that you were a man of fine character and strong work ethic. Thank you for sharing your valuable time and I look forward.
Thank you for watching! We will have a series called "Stories from the life of Brian Pearce" that will cover ranching and life stories along with hunting stories! We are excited to get some more content coming!
Brian, I really enjoy your writings. Special thanks for the .44 Special +P Pet Loads article. I've worked up more loads based on that one article than I have from most reloading manuals I own.
Excellent video. Thank you Brian. I have been reading your articles for quite some time now. You’re “3 categories” article on hand loading .44 special is a must read for any fan of the cartridge. What a stunning collection of revolvers!
The Elmer Keith of today!! An old rancher with a passion for things that go bang and knowledge and skills most of us only aspire to!! Amazing man and family! One look at those pie plate hands and you know the man's been there done that!
I would love to see more shooting videos/review videos of all of the guns mentioned! The knowledge your father has of these firearms & pistols is amazing, as I'm sure others would agree!
This is exciting news I wondered how long before they talked you into this. I have been reading your articles for a very long time. Loved your hunting adventures as much as your technical articles. Seeing your rifle bungee corded to the strut of the bush plane over Alaska gave me anxiety. I still use a ton of your load data from the handloader magazine pages. Looking forward to learning about these very important firearms and what made them important and how they have opened the doors for the modern day arms.
Ive been reading Brian’s articles since I was in my early teens. I’m in my mid 30s now and feel lucky to have had the opportunity to watch this video. He’s been a huge inspiration to me with my revolver shooting and hunting with revolvers. I’ve also been a huge fan of all his work with rifles as well. I’ve learned so much about reloading from him. Great to finally see and hear you Brian! And you just helped me make up my mind about a new to me revolver I just procured. It's a S&W Hand Ejector chambered in 38 Special, 4" barrel made in 1953 and as far as I can tell, it's never been fired. I ordered off of an auction site for a fair price but I didn't realize just how nice it was until I picked it up at the gun shop. I have never shot or even handled a gp100 in 44 special. Until I do that, I will not recommend any +p loads. However 8.2 grains of alliant Power Pistol with the 250 grain Keith bullet will give 1000 fps and is NOT a +p load.
I'd love to see a collective writings about handguns/handgun hunting Brian. Your articles about different level loads for the .45 Colt caused me to buy a .45 Colt Mountain Gun!
Thank you! Maybe someday I'll compile some information and share it. The S&W Mountain Gun in .45 Colt is a truly great sixgun! I sure enjoy mine. Thanks for the comments and taking time to watch our channel.
I have a lot of originals from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The modern made ones are from Paul Persinger but he's not accepting new work right now. These grips are pretty hard to come by.
The 1858 is a solid frame so standard pressure loads are your best option. The best answer would be to buy Handloader issue 320. That has some good info on standard pressure loads for a 45 Colt. Do you have specific load you are looking to develop?
@PearceBrothersGearGuide I have some 180 grain rnfp cowboy #8 from missouri bullet company. I haven't been able to find any trail boss but have some tite group powder.

This is awesome!! I’d like to see Elmer’s No. 5 and his 29’s!! Then the 1873’s!
We will definitely cover all of those. That Keith No 5 is highly requested, such a unique beautiful gun!
Awesome video
Thank you!
I have like others read a good deal in Habdloader n Rifle from Your Dad.
As for review 1st..
Patton colt n the story on them notches.
Anything done will be good no doubt.
Thank you! That Paton gun is a very neat gun! I'm sure we will have more on that one. We've got a lot we want to cover so no promises on timeliness but it will be covered at some point!
Best quote everr, 'i like the modern guns also, like the 1911"
😆
Please start with an examination of Uberti/Cimarron Winch 73’s and also compare to the Miroku models.
That's an excellent idea and I'm sure we will have that at some point!
In a general topic, the return of T/C? With that massive collection, any muzzle loaders? Look forward to any videos you guys are doing. Like a bunch of those WWII guns been shooting!
Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, we have much, much more to cover that was not even touched on in this video. But it takes time for us to all get together and make the videos....we are all working more than full time in addition to the videos! Thanks for taking time to watch....and please be patient!
@@PearceBrothersGearGuide , please do not think Im trying to be pushy, you all have lives, families that should come first. We understand that, you guys have put out a bunch, I enjoy your stuff, don’t burn yourselves out.
I was wondering how long it take you to get the original on the channel lol
Haha ya he waited till we figured out how to edit and work all that technology stuff
Absolutely great thank you
You're very welcome
Love all your articles
Thank you for the support!
We need a book by you, maybe a collection of your stories complied into a book
Brian, where do you put the Ruger GP100 44 Special on your tier list? SAAMI pressure only, or is it +P capable?
I have never shot or even handled a gp100 in 44 special. Until I do that, I will not recommend any +p loads. However 8.2 grains of alliant Power Pistol with the 250 grain Keith bullet will give 1000 fps and is NOT a +p load.
beautiful guns!
Thank you!
I think this is the first time that film of someone shooting a No. 5 clone has been put out on the internet.
Probably haha! They are usually safe queens
Amazing collection
Thanks for watching!
Where does Brian get all the Steer Head Magna Grips?
I have a lot of originals from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The modern made ones are from Paul Persinger but he's not accepting new work right now. These grips are pretty hard to come by.
Fantastic!
Many thanks!
I read a lot of the magazines articles you have wrote I like the Colt single actions also I cast my own bullets and hand load for them
Thanks for watching! We will have a lot more content coming on a variety of topics!
can you give some information on reloading for black powder 1858 revolver that has a conversion cylinder in it. It is chambered in 45 colt.
Your father is a treasure … for real
Yes he is!
I read a lot of his writing also.
Thanks for watching! We are excited to bring Dads expertise and knowledge to the channel!
Great 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Interested in adopting another son? LOL - awesome collection!!
Haha thanks!
THANK YOU SO MUCH GREAT VIDEO THAN YOU 😊
Thank you!

We have alot of great stuff planned so please stay tuned!
Very cool video, though your collection is second to mine! 😂😅😆 Not…
Looking forward to seeing more from y’all.
More to come!
Whoa Nelly ! 👏
👍
What did I join!
Glad you are here!
Why do my comments keep getting deleted? 😠
We haven't deleted any comments but we have noticed that youtube glitches a lot and won't add our replies to comments....
Twirling a loaded revolver!
Tell me you’re stupid without saying it.
Are you referring to the intro? That is a single action revolver and has an empty chamber under the hammer so it is completely safe.
Do you know the difference between a single action and a double action?
ของมันต้องมี ทิด ...
Twirling a loaded revolver!
Beyond stupid.
Are you referring to the intro?
Do you understand how a single action revolver works?
I think you should just retire!!
If you know Brian he will never retire
I’m sold, have at please
Thanks, we will!
Where do you get the Steerhead grips I seen them years ago and would like a set
I have a lot of originals from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The modern made ones are from Paul Persinger but he's not accepting new work right now. These grips are pretty hard to come by.
@@PearceBrothersGearGuide ok that’s what I was wondering I think the ones I was looking at were polyurethane or something like that and I wasn’t really happy with it
@hoghunter6872 yes, true ivory ones are really hard to come by these days.
Great gun writer.
Thank you!
Show coleção 👏🏻🔫😍
That was a small taste of the Brian Pearce collection! Stay tuned for more!
Great 👍👍
Thank you!
