Being honest, at first I thought Secco couldn’t speak.

Used to think that Cioccolata did some fucked up experiment that left his vocal chords or brain damaged, but the real motive for Secco obeying him is more satisfying and not gross.

Secco's death was one of the few that actually rustled me. Something about how he accidentally started to melt his throat to where he couldn't speak and falling into the same truck as Cioccolata with his excitement at finding the body without realizing it was dead. All the while he couldn't stop melting his own throat and was being crushed. Maybe because he's messed in the head probably brought this on me. It bothers me a lot.
Another thing that adds to this is his sudden desperation due to having his leg run over and his eardrums blown out.
It wasn't excitement, he was incredulous that Cioccolata was even in there (not like that was in the manga, anyway). Secco never liked Cio, but he did think that his strength would help protect him while received the easy life with money, food, and other amenities. When Cio bites it, he mocks him, and strikes out on his own from then on. However, even in death, he can't truly be rid of Cioccolata.

Honestly Araki bent the rules for this one. Oasis is an extremely broken stand, and they won by luck.
Oasis was hella busted and such a cool power but like every crazy stand it was limited by secco being a fuckin freak and crazy lucky Jojo Fate™
I mean, I think most people would have died pretty early from the injuries Bruno had, but bruno wasnt exactly... alive... so he managed to win. Barely.
Oasis is definitely a powerhouse of a stand. It's like a Spice Girl Requiem! Hell, I bet it could even take on Star Platinum in hand to hand combat if SP didn't use a time stop. No way Bruno would have won if he wasn't a walking dead. He had received at least 2 fatal wounds during the fight and was able to turn the tables only using a type of attack that would damage him as well if he was alive. Before that he wasn't able to do anything at all! Bruno was definitely right "the real threat was the underground guy".

I wouldn’t exactly say they won by luck, it’s just that Secco had to face an incredibly intelligent stand user who has experience with his own stand, and the creativity to make such a simple ability work well.

i don't think people realize how dangerous secco is. he's extremely fucking fast, dodging bullets, swimming effortlessly through the ground, rushing to bruno as the camera is falling and recording it. he uses his rather simple ability of turning things into liquid to his advantage, using it to spit out the liquid out of his radius so it rains down projectiles, using the rebound of the ground to make his punches that much more powerful. hell, he most likely even attatched himself to ciocolatta for his own gain. the dog thing is mostly an act, even though when he's away from ciocolatta he still behaves animalistically and has trouble with words. but that doesn't really matter when your very smart in other areas

Of the 3 duos we fight in GW, in 2 of them there’s an underestimated Stand user who‘s actually really strong, likely being even stronger than their partner. This definitely applies to Secco, who could have killed the entire gang if it wasn’t for plot armor.
If he wasn’t fighting as a zombie, Bruno would be dead as hell, Secco could dismantle anyone else in the group easily.

Oasis and armor based stands are pretty terrifying they just lack smart users although they’re both amazing I love that bucciaratis stand for the chance to truly develop it’s insane how good he is at adapting to other stand users I wish they gave Trish as much unique opportunities her stand is a very similar focus on king crimson she is able to make things more soft and is almost able to manipulate almost any objects mass she could use this for a very unique method of travel through objects like bucciarati uses sticky fingers to do the same.
