The Yamaha RX100 was the go-to bike for two-wheeler enthusiasts back in the 80’s and early-90s. Back then, the Yamaha RX100 not only set a benchmark for two-stroke motorcycles but also single-handedly changed people’s perspective towards motorcycling.
The Yamaha RX100 was launched in November 1985 and the company kept manufacturing it until March 1996. The government’s decision to pull the plug on all two-stroke motorcycles ended of the Yamaha RX100's reign in India. But the success story carries on even today
The RX100 was the result of Yamaha going back to the drawing room after the RD350 failed to light up the market. But even Yamaha couldn’t have anticipated the outcome of their radical approach, making the Yamaha RX100 the legend it is today. The best example of this is that enthusiasts are still willing to handover hefty amounts of money in order to own a well-maintained example of the RX100.
The Yamaha RX100 was powered by an air-cooled, 98cc, single-cylinder, two-stroke motor that produced 11PS @ 7500rpm. Power was sent to the rear wheel via a 4-speed gearbox. The company also claimed a 0-60kmph time of 7.5 seconds. Furthermore, the Yamaha RX100 was not only reliable but affordable as well, making it accessible to many. The performance and reliability factor made it a winner in the eyes of enthusiasts. In fact, the Yamaha RX100 became one of India’s best-selling two-stroke machines, until it was replaced with the RX-G.
The part that makes us spring with joy are the rumours of Yamaha reviving the RX100, but with a four-stroke engine instead. However, our excitement levels have dimmed down as there has been no official confirmation from Yamaha as of yet. So, till we get a solid confirmation on its comeback, we can only wait and anticipate that the RX100 will once again revolutionise the Indian two-wheeler commuter segment. Motul 800 2t is best 2t oil money can buy. It is available in two variants,
1- racing and 2- off road
You can use which ever is available to you. It is red in colour.
You cannot use 800 with oilpump due to its viscosity, you have to premix it.
10ml per litre is enough cause its fully synthetic oil.
Iam sure Once you use 800 you cannot switch to normal 2t, and will agree to pay that hefty price for a litre everytime. 😁

Motul 710 is also fully synthetic and very good oil. Motul 800V is truly overkill for a bike like this.
O bhai never use under 20 ml per litre fully synthetic me additives hote h take wo oil smoke kam kare or oil easily jale na take oil waste na or lubrication me kaam aye wo bhi normal oil hota par with 15 percent additives uski lubrication itni zyada bhi achi nahi Hoti ke ap 10 ml oil dalo

Bro I think everybody don't have RX100 some people have RX135 5/4 speed or RXZ 4/5 speed I think you have to also give informations about 135 and Z so your channel could have more subscribers and views because in whole TH-cam your channel is the only one which you give perfect information about RX I understand you don't have those 2 bikes but try to give information like which is best 2T oil for 135 and z or some other things don't think that I am giving you advice or a tip I'm just telling you that it could be more better and informative

Motul 2T is thicker oil than shell and it keeps the engine smoother. Shell is also good but not that thicker.
Thicker oil is not so good for 2T pump injection since it makes a bit difficult to get pumped. I am not sure though, I have read somewhere.

Using motul after seeing your video.its smooth,less smoke as you said.
In my case it works nearly 150 km in 500 ml.i use 2t pump.

Does anyone know the oil pump flow setting?
Seems like your pump is running fully open setting all the time. Open the RHS side 2T pump cover and with engine running check the travel of the pump. If it's more than 1mm at idle, it needs to be reduced. Also, so much oil will fuse the sparkplug.
You will need to adjust the cable that goes to the oil pump. It's better to check with a good mechanic who specialises in 2 stroke bikes.

2T is also engine oil. 2T oil means 2 stroke engine oil. It is manufactured to use only in 2 stroke engine.
You are talking about 4T oil which is 4 stroke engine oil.
By using 4T oil in place of 2T oil will produce more smoke/ pollution, more carbon deposit in piston and cylinder which will chock restrict ports and silencer, also will increase the chance of spark plug fouling.
