So I’ve followed down each moment, the game loads up without mods or codes at all, and if I add the winedlloverride to launch options it just doesn’t launch at all, I’ve tried this method, the bottles method, the game either doesn’t launch at all, or launches with zero codes or mods enabled
same I've also get the same exact issues and tried every method and the game won't run or it runs without mods every time. I can't even play it on windows cuz it lags and it only runs well on Linux for me

Do I got to use the command line every time or is there I can open up the exe file directly? EDIT: I just found a shortcut in the Start Menu so that will work. Again, thanks for the tutorial. It was way easier than trying to deal with Bottles.

@@MetalistCore24 The issue is is that when I check my dolphin folder I dont see no config folder for steam tinker launcher. All I get is just home > steam tinker launcher and no hedgemod manager folder?
On your dolphin Home click on the right side “Show Hidden Files” ! After Home>Config>SteamTinkerLaunch delete hmm and do the process in terminal it should be easier

Awesome, I got everything to work, mods worked everything perfect! But how do I reopen the mod manager? I want to install more mods, but I have no clue on where and how to open the mod manager again. EDIT: I found out how! Go to "/home/deck/.config/steamtinkerlaunch/downloads/hedgemodmanager/" then open HedgeModManager.exe with Proton Tricks, then double click Sonic Generations (doesnt matter if you're using the mod manager for Frontiers, still double click gens). Then it worked!

So I have my yuzu games on my steam Deck library so I got the properties and everything. Then it said about the appimagie . Do I just need to put the sonic like cover art there or like download the app imagine files blah blah ? 😵😅

As it turns out, you don’t need to do any of this.
You only need to install a newer version of ProtonGE to your Steam Deck

I think you are having trouble opening the modmanger opening? if so add to the exe to steam and open with experimental
