We can use phone hands free or not just can't text (everyone apparently still does though) I'm only a state away from Utah but I'm not familiar with there state laws. When you cross into a state they have a big welcome to ? State and most often have signs indicating seat belt, motorcycle helmet and cell phone use requirements in that state. Most the other laws are identical. The US is kinda like Europe, each state is almost like a different country making there own laws and requirements as long as they fall within the US constitution. Some states interpret the constitution incorrectly though but I don't want to turn this to political.

This is often the case throughout Florida and the rest of the south. Those southerners laugh at my "dozen", since they get 100 days. But Hurricane's 109° F (43° C) beats us all. That *is* hot. Can't imagine feeling sorry for them, as they can move elsewhere any time they want. Remember 165,000 people moved into that valley in the last 60 years, and so it *is* possible to move out if you do not like the climate.

More excellence from the excellent MORR crew. "Dying of Humid" So right Lizzy. Called "Heat prostration or exhaustion." Heat stroke is not enough water to cool, Heat prostration is plenty of water that can't evaporate fast enough to cool our bodies. Heat stroke has many warning signs, heat prostration has few and sometimes none. we just drop dead. I'm alive after heat prostration because my children had watched movies and cartoons where someone threw water or beer on someone's head who did not respond. I fell with my head next to a pitcher of ice water. I lost total short-term memory for months and was not able to drive because I look left, at an intersection and couldn't remember if I'd looked right, looked right and could remember if I'd looked left. It took a 18 months before I drove again. Lasting short-term memory issues and sleep issues for almost 25 years now. Don't do it. Especially Trevor running. Let your sweat protect. Shirt wet, slow down.

It's a lot harder to cool down in humid conditions you're right, so that can be perceived as it being hot out. What makes the actual air feel hot on the skin is the fact that water conducts heat a lot better than air. What you feel as hot or cold on your skin is your translation of heat entering or leaving your body. Dry air is rather insulating.
You can sit in a sauna at 70C for a couple of minutes quite comfortably but you can't touch water at 70C, it will instantly burn you.

That Morvair is an INSPIRED build out. Watching that thing over the rocks, ledges, boulders, and the SAND, it just looks tailor-made for the role. The Corvair may have been just simply a highly educated choice or we're not giving Matt and family and friends enough credit for their fabrication skills and Matt's fabrication designs.
That thing just floats above the terrain. The weight/displacement (tire size) ratio and power is just exquisite. Other than a rail made for sand and rock-crawling (is there such a beast?), can anyone tell me about a rig that does better over such a variety of terrain?
Matt, when you gonna put A/C into the Morvair?

As you mention though, the more capable the vehicle, the stronger the urge to push even farther. The 2 seaters in particular take a fair bit of skill to jump successfully. It's easy to kick the tail up and get it twisted in flight so that it comes down on a single front wheel, and at an angle. Even if you're only doing 40 or 50 mph the impact forces can be really high when you get it wrong as you bury a single front wheel in that soft sand as you land.

I mean that's actually not really that humid at all they live in the desert more or less I can understand it at 96 if it was like 70% like where I live and what we get down here and I don't even live in a desert I live right off of the Gulf they're actually reminds me of a Time I was reading about a marathon that happened in Australia and their news reporters were claiming it was 26 degrees Celsius so of course everybody is getting heat exhaustion with something like 60 or 70% humidity 26 Celsius is about 72 to 78 Fahrenheit with the added humidity it's only at most high 90s when I mean heck not just Texas but because I live in Texas I will speak only about my state I know for a fact what they experienced over there that day was a walk in the park compared to the typical summer day in Texas or in other parts of the country that are more barren and sandy

@@whyme9501 yea that was hilarious! Right now its 90% humidity & cloudy. Tomorrow gonna be 80°F & 80% humidity, which is not all that bad; it is October after all. 90°-100° & 80-90+% humidity is awful. I hate summer time 🥵😡 about 6 months of being miserable.

Trevor is such a classic guy. He would make a wonderful character actor in Hollywood.
