I felt like I lost a lot over the past few days ... this makes me feel optimistic about the losses. I felt behind , and realized I needed to find this in order to get better just in life itself. The way you done them leaves was so simple but so effective. I'm just starting out and mainly just doing it as a hobby. Just simpler stuff at the moment American tradition style but hopefully be able to put some heavy detailed stuff down in the future...be so cool if I could manage something anywhere close to your standard. It's really difficult compared to pencil and paper so fully appreciate how skilled you are 🤜🏻🤛🏿
Man I've been following for a real long time and Dakar and q are two of the beat on yt in all honesty!!!!I can remember when I was gonna pick up the big wasp rotary pen and I seen Dakars review on tattoo on it and was like "oh yeah definitely gonna pick that up even if it ends up being a solid color packer or shader..and if it lines as good as he says then it's a win win fo sho!" And his review was spot on!it all started with that review and that rotary for me lbs my apprenticeship was years ago and rotary machines were really at that time maybe used for shading or color parking but Noone really used them for lining at the time yahoo know.and when I came back and started back up I wanted to be all rotary no coil and I'm glad I did.keep it up Dakar man cause your channel is one of the best.hope all is well man and great video as always!

I started using a pencil with a weight on the side to represent a coil machine. Your right about the pencil reference you press harder the darker the line..using this technique will mentally prepare you for tattooing..

I can trace the picture with stencil paper but looking at it while drawing nope. But im looking into getting a tattoo pen wireless and wanted to teach myself to tattoo. I know its 2mm deep needle depth
Looking into the rotary gun one cause u dont use rubber bands second it has a locking mechanism to hold the needle in place. But with rotary's do u still have to bend the needle if ur using barred needles or since the locking mechanism is their do u still have to have the bend.
