With a friend group that big and how extensive their reach is in every genre of streaming, it's not surprising that some of them just grow apart. People come and go. Amigops, the 1st OTV Rust era, Among Us, The Raft squad etc... it was good times, but it's in the past.
The reality of growing up. Cherish the moment like there is no tomorrow.
is what people say as an excuse, if you dont want to hang out with the same people fine but stop acting like its not a choice i still talk to people i went to school with and im 28 cause i chose to
even with this friend group most of them still talk and play games together toast is just projecting if you watch everyone then you know what he said makes no sense most of them play gta rp, rust and even live together
Bro, their job and carrers are based off of playing games for hours...
@@imalittletoxicjustalittleyea but sometimes it's just not the same I have the ability to talk to my old friends but it will never be the same fun I'm a different person and they're different people so as the og commenter said "cherish those moments"
@@fleepity agreed. Many people don't get how people sometimes crosspath and stay together and sometimes our paths diverge. It depends on our own Priorities and choices. Its the natural way of life and no one is to be blamed about it.
@@havanaaayou can if you put them in cages. Just remember to feed them.
thats why i make my own friends, the imaginary kind. haha. haha....
haha... ha. ha..
Jajajajaja
Glad to know there are more of my kind.
Where you from?
Welll... xd
I get into a problem when i play games with friends. I start to only like it when im playing it with them to where its not the same playing it by myself. We could start playing a new game, but when one person stops playing it, we all stop. It made me felt more burnt out where i would just do nothing since no games seem fun anymore. I would try to play those games again but just can't.
Other than that, having different schedules does mess up times we can play together.
Why not try playing games that doesn't need co-op. On this case, I play TFT, so that if my circle isn't around or we are not playing the same game anymore, it does not matter. Now that my circle knows that I play a solo games, they respect my time when I'm playing it and waits for me if we are gonna play a co-op games. But then, you are not me and I'm not you, you maybe not like these types of games just like you said, you can't find happiness if it's not played with the squad. But I find the problem as a "YOU" thing. So change things up a bit, people grows old, have families, they may be a time that your squad will not be playing anymore.
I got the same issue… I’ve been like this for years now and I still don’t know a fix. If I just give up on games and say fuck it I’ll just work, then I end up depressed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
When you’re in a group, it’s inevitable that everyone thinks about these hangouts unequally. Some are there for the ride for however long it’ll last and for some it’s just the last of their priorities. That’s why online friendships are hard to build and cultivate over time. There needs to be more than a computer screen and keyboard to hold us together. It’s all a fleeting moment
fleeting moments are usually the most beautiful ones
I feel that hard, I've had so many groups I gamed with fizzle out cause people start off always being around so its great then stuff in life happens and they slowly become less and less available until it becomes hard to even keep the group together. I get frustrated every time it happens since it was fun while it happened that I want to hold on to it as long as I can but it just slips away leaving me to find a new group, obviously I still try to keep tabs incase they ever want to play again but after a while it hurts to keep asking if they want to play games and either they have plans (which I know isn't something that would prevent them from playing but I respect it anyways) or they dodge the ask entirely opting to steer the conversation to something else.
It sucks to put in the effort and slowly it gets reciprocated less and less. Literally having it happen to my current gaming group where we were pretty consistent each day then slowly it became every other day, then weekends now I don't know if I can get the full group on at any point all cause slowly IRL stuff has been taking more precedence in their time, like I'm losing to youtube/shows with some of them which is fine if theres a good series or something but its that whole I can't understand why you'd opt for that over hanging out with friends point for me, like for me gaming with some friends trumps some of the reasons I've gotten lately since it should be objectively more fun to do and I at least think everyone has a good time when we did play and no one ghosts me in DMs, though it does feel like I'm the one typically initiating the conversation.
I'm really just venting at this point.
damn, i understand that feeling. This is actually my situation with my main circle
Happend to me a couple years ago, but I'm too scared for another group to slowly go their own way so I just haven't made new friends for fear it'd happen again
Man you nailed every single thing i am feeling right now. It sucks and it is so boring now
I’ve got a story. Me and my pals of like 10+ years would always stay up into degenerate hours playing games and just shooting the shit. We are all in our mid to early 20’s now (oldest guy is 25 & youngest guy which is me is 21) and we find ourselves busier these days.
We still talk and play games together but none of us have the luxury or physical ability to pull what we used to. We also take more breaks from each other these days just because life.
The life stuff is obviously unavoidable but if u have friends who would rather watch shows u clearly have different priorities, ik it will be hard but trying to find multiple people who have the same feeling u do who don't currently have a main group ( so they're not splitting their time) will probably make it easier for it to last
C'est la vie. You grow, as well as your priorities
Bro, their job and carrers are based off of playing games for hours
@@filipgasic2642 it starts off that way but not anymore. They have big ticket sponsors, merch, and events that make way more that takes less mental effort and hours
Honestly, it’s HARD to want to play games that much. I’m just a normal dude, and I find myself staring at my computer some days going “you know what, I really don’t want to”
I can’t imagine having to tell yourself to ply them everyday. Would I still take it over my current job? In a heartbeat, but I’m just saying it’s understandable where people might not feel like playing together if they’re just tired of games and stuff in general because it’s become their main thing.
Yeah it's kinda a real ass thing in diverse groups of people, they all get busy doing their own thing
Indeed it really is not going to lie there it is absolutely sad and depressing to see which it really does suck and I do really feel sorry for toast who can't even get a totally stacked lobby s-tier top streamers anymore like Rae and Poki and Ludwig and Hasan and and others for an Among Us or valorant lobby anymore
I Really hope the AMIGOPS can get a lobby to play any game,, but obviously love the AMONGUS era, but anything at this point will be fine.😢

The V Rising stream with the vtubers was a fever dream
That makes a lot of sense
yeah it happens :( my friends and i used to play coop on so many games but once we started getting jobs we stopped playing altogether (or keeping 1-2 games we can play by ourselves) and just catch up over dinner sometimes
It's blessing but that blessing is also their curse.
not a matter of fame, life just keeps you busy and priorities shift.
I believe what the inferred meaning is is that fame brings about more jobs and work to do, hence busier irl, and less time and harder to find a common time to hangout / play games together.
Bro I have my share of friends and we not even famous but we can't get together for games or going out nothing, because somebody has to work, someone is with his gf one has to buy fishfood or some shit is hard to get people together nowadays 😢
What game is toast playing in this clip?
V rising

Tbh there's definitely something weird happening to the friend group bts when yvonne moved out from the roomies house she just stopped interacting with everyone there also no one in the otv house have interacted with anyone from the rooimes house too except masayoshi i think which is weird they just suddenly stopped interacting
Toast plays games with sykkuno
Yvonne still hangs out with the roomies outside of streaming lol. Her and Lily have both been in 2v2uesday too. Rae just did a collab vid with and and toast. It’s not covid among us era anymore. Even Rae doesn’t play with the roomies that often cus she’s addicted to gta or busy flying to Milan. It’s not “weird” it’s people just living their lives 😂

What a click bait title!
If all your friends got too famous then the answer to your problem is simple. Just make more friends who are available *cough*
Stupid ending your sentence with a cough lmao
Once u get to this fame, like markiplier said before or something similar “I was crying in that clip because the people that were day from day 1, I really wished that I could be friends with them but all this fame stuff makes it really hard” and you can tell why as like dreams situation, he got accused of grooming minors blah blah blah so like people take advantage of you and you can’t take the risk, then getting in touch with more famous people just doesn’t feel like a real friendship and more like acquaintances making money off each other
Sure it has nothing to do with your ruining friendships
I mean not wrong, and two obvious ones, they let the fame get to their head and want to go do bigger things and get to that international fame where they get to hang out with S tier celebrities

I don't want to be the one to say this but Toast is right people have gotten way too famous and especially getting a a lobby set up and scheduled like saying a Among Us lobby or Valorant lobby and other lobbies for other games and people have gotten way too famous for their own good it seems like there was like a OTV and Friends video being put out every week but now it's almost like every month to every other month now get a video is being put out of everyone and it's really sad and really depressing to see now that toast can't even get a totally stacked s-tier lobby of top tier streamers like Rae, Poki, Hasan, Blau, Leslie, Miyoung, Bluefille, Tarik, Shoto, TinaKitten, Ludwig, Syk, CDawgVA, ironmouse, Corpse, xQc and others for Among Us and Valorant anymore this is absolutely sad and depressing to see this to people have gotten way too big and too famous for their own good and look what it has done and the sad part they let way too much fame, money and clout go to their heads and they need to be brought back down to reality and we all know who he's calling out it's no secret of who he's clearly calling out pretty much everybody I mention
You're blowing this way out of proportion.
@@RebelTvShkahow is it blowing it out of proportion if everything is true
