If you've seen Janet and Toast or Leslie and Edison's breakups, they were "mutual" whereas Abe's is telling us that he was TRYING to save their marriage and Wendy, in so far, didn't even wrote anything and only retweeted his tweet without even addressing it is obvious. There's no need to "speculate". Also, if you check around a few months ago, she was going to EDC all alone without Abe and in her alt Twitter, she's was asking outfit opinions on how to "be a ho". Abe said we may be able to figure things out based on 'social dynamics'. Two things that stand out to me is that in his tweet he said "I" tried everything to save our marriage. He didn't mention her trying everything. The second thing is that he's staying with OTV right now, and a ton of them commented on his tweet with hearts and support. So whatever happened, their group of streamer aquaintances/friends seem to be on his side in this.
Regardless, if none of them talks about it we should better just shut up and leave them alone. It's none of our business, we got the news and that's just it, that's our line as an audience or follower of them both and OTVAF.

Take this with a grain of salt but from my personal experience, when one person is staying with friends and making a post giving an update on the status of the relationship, and the other is silent and being unfollowed by members of the friends group, they most likely did something bad. If you go look at the replies to Abes tweet, they are all saying "love you Abe" not "love you both", which to me is very telling. The response is very different from when Edison and Leslie broke up. I know this really isnt my business but i mean, I watched their wedding. Its hard not to be invested. And its VERY hard to not be curious.

Ikr, tbh the only breakup in it that has been resolved in a healthy manner was Toast and Janet, they became chill again after a while and still interact with each other and have funny moments, online at least.
In my life, I've never had a healthily married role model to look up to and see a good marriage.. so Leslie & Edison, Abe & Wendy, & a few other gaming /art creators I follow that are in long lasting relationships & have gotten engaged & married I look to instead. All of them have publicly separated after getting engaged or married except for one or two, and it really makes me feel like marriage isn't something that's positive or possible. I have long lasting expectations for my current relationship, but he wants marriage in the future & because of the lack of healthy marriages I've seen in my life, I don't know if it's something I want😢

Online concensus seems to be that she cheated since Abe didn't specifically rule it out like in usual public breakup statements, but no one is 100% certain. As for what happened to Wendy since all of this, no one knows. She's been dark since Abe's tweet.
When I saw the news on Reddit earlier I literally said “Oh no!” out loud, which is something I _never_ do. It just goes to show that you _never_ know what’s going on behind closed doors. I really hope that they’re _both_ able to heal, move on, and grow from this experience, no matter what happened between them. EDITED TO ADD: Yes, I know that there has been a LOT of speculation that Wendy must’ve done something pretty fucked up which led to this. However, that’s all it is, speculation. But I will say that all of that speculation isn’t completely unwarranted. Based on quite a few different things, including reading between the lines of what Abe has divulged to us, it is more than likely that Wendy _did_ do something pretty messed up. However, even if that _is_ the case, I still stand by _everything_ that I said. Obviously _most_ of my sympathy goes to Abe at this time as it looks as if he was majorly the victim in all of this who simply just kept trying to make things work. (Again, that’s how it all _seems_ to us at least. We _obviously_ don’t know all of the intricacies of went down. So there’s that.) But I still extend _some_ sympathy to Wendy. Even if it was _mostly,_ or even _all,_ thanks to her own doings, she’s also dealing with a failed marriage and that sucks no matter which way you cut it. I think the biggest sign that Wondy lost the OTV&F side is that not even her cat pics are getting interaction from them. And you may think "Why would you base something important on a dumb common thinkg like a cat pic" but thats the point if not even the normal dumb stuff is getting a response (even tho usually any pet pic get at least an emoji from all the girls) it means that they are really avoiding any interaction with her. I don't think she necessarily did smthg "wrong" to initiate this, because when you breakup with an SO in the same friend group people can find fault on you simply for wanting a change. My guess is Wendy didn't make a concession other people would call a compromise in their marriage and OTV sides with Abe because he's the one who "kept trying", and if she was the one who asked for a divorce- that's where the "bad guy vs. good guy" gets added in. OTV is likely giving space because these two asked for it, and unfollowing is at their own discretion too.
Sometimes this is what happens. At least they tried and realized it might not work and separated, rather than keeping themselves together and possibly miserable, like many other marriages.

I’ve never been married or even in a very serious relationship, so take my words lightly. Divorce isn’t the end of the world. Sometimes things just don’t work out. Sometimes people naturally drift apart. I don’t think divorce means that you wasted your time or shouldn’t have gotten married. If you had 5 amazing years with someone and then 1 year where you started separating, you still had those 5 amazing years. They don’t go away.

Most couples marry thinking everything will be perfect or that they won't have issues in said marriage. But when the marriage does have problems they (the couple) don't put much effort to save it and prefer to go the easy route and just divorce. I think it's more rare to see a couple stay together after one person in the relationship starts getting more attention or fame. Once you start doing colabs and other stuff your pool of available people just gets higher, you think I deserve better, why should i restrict myself. It's rough watching the other person in that relationship just slowly understand they were just with them because they were an option at the time and all these thoughts and feelings you had mean absolutely nothing to the other person you thought was sharing your life. Wendy started going to the gym and got healthy. Being the "ugly duckling" growing up and then gaining that confidence and more attention does something to people. Take this with a grain of salt but from my personal experience, when one person is staying with friends and making a post giving an update on the status of the relationship, and the other is silent and being unfollowed by members of the friends group, they most likely did something bad.
If you go look at the replies to Abes tweet, they are all saying "love you Abe" not "love you both", which to me is very telling. The response is very different from when Edison and Leslie broke up.

Based on the fact that Abe recieved a bunch of public support from OTVF while Wendy received none and the fact that Abe was staying with Rae and Miyoung (two of Wendy's bridesmaids), i'm assuming Wendy did something really bad that resulted in their marriage ending. Online concensus seems to be that she cheated since Abe didn't specifically rule it out like in usual public breakup statements, but no one is 100% certain. As for what happened to Wendy since all of this, no one knows. She's been dark since Abe's tweet.
When I saw the news on Reddit earlier I literally said “Oh no!” out loud, which is something I _never_ do. It just goes to show that you _never_ know what’s going on behind closed doors. I really hope that they’re _both_ able to heal, move on, and grow from this experience, no matter what happened between them.
EDITED TO ADD: Yes, I know that there has been a LOT of speculation that Wendy must’ve done something pretty fucked up which led to this. However, that’s all it is, speculation.
But I will say that all of that speculation isn’t completely unwarranted. Based on quite a few different things, including reading between the lines of what Abe has divulged to us, it is more than likely that Wendy _did_ do something pretty messed up. However, even if that _is_ the case, I still stand by _everything_ that I said.
Obviously _most_ of my sympathy goes to Abe at this time as it looks as if he was majorly the victim in all of this who simply just kept trying to make things work. (Again, that’s how it all _seems_ to us at least. We _obviously_ don’t know all of the intricacies of went down. So there’s that.)
But I still extend _some_ sympathy to Wendy. Even if it was _mostly,_ or even _all,_ thanks to her own doings, she’s also dealing with a failed marriage and that sucks no matter which way you cut it.
Also, if she _did_ do something hella messed up to the man she supposedly loved and wanted to spend the rest of her life with, that, to me, says that she _desperately_ needs some healing by the way of therapy. Lots and _lots_ of therapy.
And, the biggest out of everything that I’m sympathetic towards is the fact that the internet is a dark, messed up place full of twisted and incredibly rude/mean people who _love_ the fact that they can say whatever nasty shit they want while remaining _completely_ anonymous. Keep in mind that these are people who have never even _met_ Wendy or Abe or anyone even _remotely_ adjacent to them. Thus, they know approximately jack shit about the situation and are completely clueless when it comes to _any_ of the details surrounding it. But, I’m SURE, that they will still feel completely comfortable sending Wendy shit such as messages saying “KYS” and other, equally as disgusting and hurtful BS. that is true, its clear that she's being ghosted because she is clearly on the wrong side. If Abe and Wendy did end on good terms, then OTV&F wouldn't be treating Wendy like this, but that is not the case here. It's very different from Edison and Leslie breakup since it was really in good terms, but this one is very similar to the Albie/Fed situation.

I don't think she necessarily did smthg "wrong" to initiate this, because when you breakup with an SO in the same friend group people can find fault on you simply for wanting a change.
My guess is Wendy didn't make a concession other people would call a compromise in their marriage and OTV sides with Abe because he's the one who "kept trying", and if she was the one who asked for a divorce- that's where the "bad guy vs. good guy" gets added in. OTV is likely giving space because these two asked for it, and unfollowing is at their own discretion too.
Sometimes this is what happens. At least they tried and realized it might not work and separated, rather than keeping themselves together and possibly miserable, like many other marriages.

Most couples marry thinking everything will be perfect or that they won't have issues in said marriage. But when the marriage does have problems they (the couple) don't put much effort to save it and prefer to go the easy route and just divorce. Again no shade on Abe or Wendy, we don't know why they separated.

I think it's more rare to see a couple stay together after one person in the relationship starts getting more attention or fame. Once you start doing colabs and other stuff your pool of available people just gets higher, you think I deserve better, why should i restrict myself. It's rough watching the other person in that relationship just slowly understand they were just with them because they were an option at the time and all these thoughts and feelings you had mean absolutely nothing to the other person you thought was sharing your life. Wendy started going to the gym and got healthy. Being the "ugly duckling" growing up and then gaining that confidence and more attention does something to people. They start feeling that validation from others. We'll either never know for sure or one of them will come out with a statement soon for damage control.
