    Thank you for this video!! I am so new to this journey. It's really hard... I definitely needed the help with keeping my wig secure . What hair I have left is fine and slippery. I'm going to try your way to see if it works for me. Again thank you so much.

      Hi Beth, I know its hard in the beginning but it does get easier. Just take your time and find what works for you. Please let me know if I can help. xoxo eileen

    Thanks. I have worn wigs for decades. I learned just now that the heat friendly ones won’t be shiny. I can always choose heat friendly in my wig search. I go thru dry shampoo like crazy and it is just impossible to not have some of that get into the lungs.

      @Crazywiglady  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jamie, I personally enjoy heat friendly fibers however they do require a bit more maintenance to keep them looking their best! Thanks so much for watching and have a great week! xoxo

    Thanks Eileen! I wish I had this 8 months ago when I was starting out with wigs. Very helpful. I have the same issue with wig grips slipping- I’m looking on line right now for an elastic one. Thanks again.

    Excellent video, pulling all the information your need to start in one place. And I like that you let people know that there is a lot of variation and what works for one might not work for another. But you cover the topics: combing, cleaning, maintaining, securing. Thanks.

    Well said. Next lesson. How to gently steam to change the direction of the fibers such as at the lace front. Not for beginners, but helpful to know as you continue to be more comfortable and wig savvy!

      Hi Cathy! I have a video (actually 2) that show step by step how to steam wigs, here is the link th-cam.com/video/_ONebCBt9sQ/w-d-xo.html thanks so much for watching! xoxo

      @@Crazywiglady thank you so much! I did check it out. Great tips. Think I'll have to get the JR streamer for better directional flow. I so appreciate your wig reviews. Love watching you all the time since we are similar in age and I can see what a style might look like on me. Thank you!

    Thank you for this informative video. I have had problems with the wig grips with the velcro also. Do do have a name of the one you showed in this video. Couldn't find anything on the internet.

      Hi Pat, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, I really enjoyed making it. The wig grip I have has been discounted (I bought several when they were available) however check Amazon, I think they have some with the elastic back. Thanks so much for watching! xoxo

    Great video! It was helpful to me, and I've been wearing wigs for a while. You talked about a few products that I haven't tried (JR holding spray and the root powder with 2 colors). Yes, it really does get easier! Thank you! This video will be so helpful to so many out there! xoxo Marlene

    Is the dry shampoo specific for synthetic wigs or does it matter?

    • @Crazywiglady

      Hi Jackie; I use different brands, however Jon Renau now has a dry shampoo especially for wigs. Thanks for watching! xoxo
