Hi. The breakaway cable needs to be able to be pulled straight and not snag on any component on the hitch. In your video, it's all caught under the stabiliser. Also, your electrics should not be able to get caught in the rubber gator. Try putting a twist in the cable so it doesn't drag on the ground.

picking up our first caravan tomorrow, with the motor mover when you engage and disengage does it do both sides at once? l dont have to engage both sides then disengage both sides do i? thanks :D
@@Flexiblood you are correct. You can engage/disengage from either side and it will do both sides. Even as an experienced tower, each time (regardless of weather), I always mute the radio and have the windows open when I pull away after just hitching. Go slow and make sure you pull away with ease. If there is any resistance get out and check, nearly always handbrake or motormover still on!

Do you turn the master switch off when travelling
Hey! Thanks for watching! In a nutshell, I turn it on when I get to storage, leave it on for travel out, our stay and the return journey. Only switching it off when I return to storage!
