They can't. Current ownership clause states that sanctioned professional racing series' are barred from the track. Pretty much the Nazareth issue again.
I don’t think these were “start and park” cars. Back then a few teams did that if they had to but nobody set off to park it from the jump. I remember Morgan shepherd being the first one to really do that
I love how awkward the commentary is every time a start and park hits the track because most of the time the commentators know little to nothing outside of what’s on paper about them so there’s not much to say
i loved this track......... still don't know how it didn't get a cup race and or last long. i mean u can't really use the excuse non exciting racing. though a couple went nearly caution free. purvis one one i think that had an early caution th en went caution free. the year harvick ran the double in 01, there wasn't many cautions either and he got to third with littarlly no help from cautions. (had to start at back because someone else qualified the car) had good racing but oh well. i hear its not there any more
They should come back there looks fun!

@@crystaljon Why?
The last offical nascar start and park was 2024 Pocono, Stephen Mallozzi
That was a start and park?
@@SoldiesBC yeah, he said on Twitter it was “More of an experimental run. We tried some stuff on a truck that will be used later on team 33.”
@@SoldiesBC the last Xfinity one was Glen Reen at Iowa, ran laps as a practice run for New Hampshire
7:07 thats an old Randy Lajoie Kleenex car
That's nothing to sneeze at.
@@bowlinerailfan ha!
When they went to Iowa, teams were looking more at old Pikes Peak notes over Richmond notes
17:52 LMAO...Jeff Burton's about 22-seconds slower than the pole speed and he didn't even compete at Pikes Peak in 2003.
Now THAT'S a weird goof-up.
Mike Harmon didn't park it though. He finished 8 laps down.
Jason White in the #0 ran the whole race as well.

Jeremy Clements debut.
Jeremy Clements was making starts in 2003?
This was his first ever Xfinity race. He was 18
@@personofthefield 19, actually. Crazy that he's been racing in this series in and out for this long.
Kinda weird that Jeff was in the 87 with ascheme that was obviously off of the 7 car
They were both NEMCO cars, so it kind of makes sense.
