Robby Gordon 2007 Brickyard 400 Qualifying
Terry Cook had a wild ride and almost wrecked his car on the first lap. It was a tough day for Robby Gordon Team with Ted Musgrave. Cool to see Geoff Bodine make the show though.
Curious when the qualifying sessions are essentially going to be streaming only(with TruTV sprinkled in). Wonder, what graphics will they use? I always liked this "FoxTrax" instead of the "Ghostcar". Plus the ghost tends to glitch around. Like going through the infield.
They don’t even qualify anymore….
Ah yes, even Robby Gordon had to resort to S&P-ing due to his team not getting as much sponsorship, and Speed Energy is his own brand of drink so it won't do much for him. Also, is this Terry Cook's only attempt with Phoenix Racing?
I looked up Terry’s cup attempts/starts because I was curious if he ever ran a non S&P. This was indeed his only attempt with Phoenix. Also of note, he did run a complete race with Whitney Motorsports who is not known for full races in their own right. It came at the the Phoenix spring race and came home 34th including one lap led
Speed Energy was created as a means of funding for the team. That is the only reason. Basically the money out of Robby's pocket. So its not like they 'wouldn't do much', it was an easy decision for him needing $$ more than 500 miles at Pocono.
Who’s here looking for our boy Cleetus McFarland! Hell yah brother, good luck today!!
Hell yeah!!!!
If cleet drives in the race I’m willing to bet the house that it will be the most watched arcade race ever.HELL YEAH BROTHER
Wasnt Neuenberger in this one w Jimmy Means in the #252 parker?
Praying for a decent race next month
I know this is a odd way to ask but know any arca teams looking for crewmembers? I been looking for a job since 2020 within the racingsphere when I worked with maxxforce.
What team was the 76 car?
Ray Hackett Racing
Need a car in the show? Just give Terry Cook a call. He will get you a top 15 start a good chunk of the time.
I discover him at this Channel, he seems to be a real good driver, at least at the qualifying exercise !
@@axelcalin He was good in trucks. Cup no. Nationwide Qualifying yes
In nationwide it seems he ran only in this start and park team. He had no chance here to prove something unfortunately
Unlucky sessions for 2/3rds of the Greens . Also Jeff Green in the 81??
No clutch it’s a bad thing
@@JavierEchavarria-y5l no clutch no go
Wonder how many drivers qualified two different cars in the same qualifying session.
You should give some credit to Voti for all the OP uploads just saying.
@@nascarsignore I usually do, but it looks like I missed this one, I'll correct it, thanks
Gosh I could watch this video over and over...

I miss SPEED Channel. Fun times as a kid, for sure!
Terry Cook seems to be a fair driver !
last quickest
NASCAR gave Bobby Allison his win, now they need to retroactively mark the 2010 Rookie of the Year as "Vacant"
Lmao the Rick Crawford interview
@@LilTwix81 yeah that's just what we call bad timing
Each new video is a who's who of field fillers/slow drivers
@@AlonsoRules That's the theme lol
Butch Miller ?
Yeah he’s an old school driver
I didn’t know that he got his first truck series win all the way back in 95
@ well that’s new info
Scott also ran 2 All pro late model races in '94. Finished 2nd and 5th. His 1st race at 411 he was closing in on Freddie Query for the win during the closing laps. He also won a big NASCAR late model stock car race at Coeburn, VA in '90. I wish he would have done more pavement late model racing. He was very good on pavement.
Kertus Davis' scheme reminds me of Corey LaJoie's ARCA East scheme
This is one of the worst races of all time for start and parks - 10 of them parked by lap 50 lol
If there was ever a Hall of Fame of random start and park drivers, many of those seen in this qualifying would be first ballot entries. Two seconds a lap slower at Auto Club is embarrassing.
I forgot how fast those white 90 and 91 cars were. Always made the field, sometimes shockingly fast, and almost always a S&P.
Nemechek never start and parked in the Xfinity series, although he did start and park in the Cup series driving his own team.
Incorrect, actually. I learned rewatching some Busch races that he start and parked some races in the early 00's when he was fielding PT entries for Jeff Fuller & David R. He S&P the 87 a few times, and also ran a 2nd or 3rd car at times. Wasnt every race but it did happen a few times.
Very cool! I like that Ganassi had a pattern where they would number their cars with the first digit being the year it was built, like yours being 632 and built in 06. It makes it easy to know the age and I don't think any other team did it that way.
From when I was watching NASCAR on tv the cars were awesome back in 06
please keep doing these. love watching start and park give it their all
So. The 05 brought a speedway car. And it needed cooling. So they just punched a hole in the bumper 😂😂
@@gabewood983 isn't it just great lol
@ that’s a word for it 😂
The time the 05 took there superspeedway car
Oh geez they did.
This happened a few times over the years with smaller teams bringing speedway cars to other tracks.
But how did the 05 parker get through inspection templates w a SS Tallatona car?
@@AlexMalycke08 NASCAR probably didn't bother because they knew the car was seconds off the pace
Kinda weird to see Andy Ponstein without the Penske-styled numbers.
They just threw random numbers on there every other week, weird logic
Do you have any other hobbies other than shit posting old nascar clips no one asked for? Genuin question Blocked me on Twitter or I’d ask you there. #soft
Please Can You Upload Austin Cindrics Cota Onboard From This You
What did David Starr's 51 look like?
Either Dave Blaney is a qualifying mastermind or PRISM Motorsports put all their money into qualifying and nothing else
That's what most of the S&P'ers did.
@@SoldiesBC most of the start and park teams were set up for qualifying trim more than race trim
Still wishing the #64 returns to NASCAR.
Pretty sure NASCAR themselves owns the number for marketing purposes so fat chance
No Nationwide Daytona upload?
@@mesousagaby740 there were very few S&P's for that race TBH
What an amazing car, congratulations again Colby!
Tony Raines also did quite well in the Truck Series, getting a total of 4 career wins, and finishing 5th in points in 1998.
