    Marcus, the best weld dressing video I've seen to date. Keep them ramblings of yours going. 🙂
    I hope a lot of newbies see this as the mystery of dealing with distorted metal after welding has made better men than me go crazy. 🤪

      Still learning with every panel that is for sure. Just when you think you have a handle on it, some other factor will show its head on a different panel or area! :)

    Thanks for showing and explaining your process . I also watch pro shaper and he made his flipper/slapper out of spring steel did you do the same ?

      I bought mine from Peter Tommasini, a well known Australian shaper here and had a workshop just down the road from me. www.handbuilt.net.au/

    That's gotta be painful to have to cut off, remake, then weld back on. I've done it with very small pieces and hated to have to "do it again" with interest. Will be top class when it's done.

      Painful now but at least not later on every time I look at it. :)
