mind giving the recipe for dem switches? I know they're ink housing but what about the stems? AFAIK nk creams are not long poles. Those switches sound delicious 😋😋
@@steppbrooEFT You probably already found an answer elsewhere, but Creams definitely have a long pole stem. Frankenswitches with Cream stems basically set off the whole long pole meta
There's so many 60% coming out that I've been loving but I just can't get one into my rotation because I need arrow keys for all my design/animation/video programs : (
layers are the key to using a 60% 60% is my favourite layout for video editing right now... I just need a good keymap if you're not able to make it work you just didn't try enough! ;)
@@whnkeys You're not wrong and I'm no stranger to mapping my layers. But with so many hotkeys, macros, and shortcuts across programs, plus more than a decade of muscle memory for dozens of workflows, it goes beyond just the mapping of the keys lol. I could absolutely make it "work" but when I have to get the work done for paying clients, not worth it to slow myself down. At least for now
@@jish-jash it's preference ofc and everybody is different. it just works better for me. e.g. having my fn key binded to caps and my arrow keys on wasd makes hitting them easier as I have no need to move my right hand from mouse.
This is not a criticism, but I wonder why most of Alex's boards sound very similar. Does anyone know why? Perhaps it's the effect of the deskmat or something?
Do you think other keyboard content creators make boards that sound very different from other ones they've built? Because I think that's just a normal thing. All "endgame" custom mx kits are designed very similar to each other and there's no innovation going on anymore in the mx style switch world
Uh it's like a qk60 ish type hmm is it me or is it just nice caps on a good board I feel the qk60 was a little more artistic and better buy for the money
That sound makes me want to break in someone’s house and toast all their bread and put it back in the bag.
awsome comment
That's how psychopaths are born
That slide into frame for the box of switches was so smooth hahaha
That spacebar is the stuff of legends 👌
Thanks for fixing my terrible stabs Alex :-)

get a 65%
I do design work with a 60% and I just have caps lock changed to a layer key, and use wasd for arrows.

@@bajafishtaco Thanks, also are they cherry profile ?

When you have to justify the price of the keyboard, it is usually not worth it.

Why does this feel like the Caucasian version of TaehaTypes...
I think qk60 would be more worth it
It's too expensive, the price is not right on a 60% keyboard.
lmao
lmao indeed
Lmao

Go buy a tofu then boi this board aint for you 😹
I can't believe Alex shared a moment with me 🥹🥰
