It was pretty much established by a few park employees that it's the urethane on the wheels cracking due to the speed and heat and they need to have all of them refinished with higher grade coating. It runs the potential for the wheels to crack mid cycle 400ft up showering down pieces on park guests. After the problems with its previous incarnation, that's the last thing they need. They'll fix it, millennium force already has the proper wheels as did the previous trains for ttd. Shame they didn't just reverse engineer them.

I was at cedar point all day yesterday and today. Never heard or seen TT2 running. I wish
This thumbnail is SO COOL!
Thank you so much! That means a lot!!
@@rlcoasters your welcome!
I think it has a chance of opening by coastermania, if it doesn’t open by then I think it will open in July or August
I could see that :)
I am SOOOO happy I went there on may 10th, cant believe I got to ride it before it closed
What's going on?
Fine tuning for reliability and measures to ensure safety. It will reopen and it will be more reliable.
Don't worry, just be patient.
That makes sense. Thanks for watching :)
LMFAO!!!
@@aktchungrabanio6467 cry harder.
@@FAFO4wisdom we are crying harder. From laughing.
@@nevaehhamilton3493 booooooo hoooooo, poor wittew baby didn't get the same old shit as always. 🎻 Use that to play a sad song for yourself. The ride is already testing so shove it.
It's a wheel problem as of right now. There are pictures of the sliver train with the wheels off.
That makes sense. Thanks for the information :)
@@rlcoasters the wheel problems have supposedly been fixed as of writing this, but I know damn well it's only the beginning for TT2's problems.
I hope it opens when I go in June
Hopefully it will be open by then 🤞
I hope you enjoy your trip!!
Oh I will
I sure hope this is running by June 1st. I’m supposed to go there in 2 weeks.
June 2025?
It had do with lsm its actually a very common situation on new coasters with lsm it takes time for adjustments to get it right if i had to guess it should go through a cycle of opening and closing all summer but should be in full force operation by next year plus electronic always act up with weather especially in area that hits extreme fluctuation in temperature itll be fine im actually surprised they were able open it when they did i wasnt expecting a open until July so reality itll probably be back open in june the way they're moving with ride
It’s actually not an issue with the lsm as cedar point confirmed it is a mechanical issue with the trains
@@jackson_wheatt lsm are on both trains and tracks if lsm are off so many mills on train compared to track it would cause roll backs it may be multiple issues all i know is once they fix whatever the problem is which is expected on any ride at beginning itll be alright any revamped or new ride will automatically go through at least one to two seasons having issues at beginning after that usually smooth sailing haven't been to one park yet in 35 years where they didn't have issues the first season or two on new rides
It will probably reopen by Memorial Day weekend since cp doesn’t want to lose out on all that business
It will reopen, maybe soon, maybe not soon. Patience is key. Plus this is a PROTOTYPE, issues will happen that weren’t expected.
Thank god they didn’t go with Intamin…. Imagine how much worse this closure / mechanic problem would be LMAO 😂
Not taking shortcuts lol it took a shortcut when they allowed a train that’s never been used on any other coaster by a company that’s never done this to save a few bucks
