@kylestevens6925 Some model trains the flanges are pressed on the rim. Maybe you can remove them and save them . I have built a few steamers using old rivarossi chassis and have removed the tire and just had the plastic rim. I know your rims are metal, but I'm pretty sure the tire / flanges can be pressed off
@kylestevens6925 if they don't come off and you don't mind modifying the train you can take the wheel set off and use a water belt sander and take the flanges down buy you would have to take a little extra off so there is no contact with the rails or it could de-rail.
@@normancoreyBuildingTrains I’ll have to look the next time I’m off work, but considering how expensive and rare the models are, I don’t want to modify them too much.
Those both look great. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you John!
THATS AWESOME THX KYLE For the update.😊😊👍👍

That is a good looking steam engine. -Jenny
Indeed it is, what got me started in this hobby. Thanks for watching!
@@kylestevens6925 Your welcome and steam is nice.
Apparently not, needs at least 32” to run properly. Luckily I just ordered some, so when the track get here I’ll test it out.
c@o is good looking
Thanks John!
If all I had was 22” could it run it
Take the center flanges off so it will run on 22
If I could find some non flanged wheels for it I would.
