I just uncovered my copy of this for Sega Genesis when looking through some of my old stuff the other day and it still works only thing is I can't remember how to do special moves or how to pin.

I remember crush was suppose to be in the Genesis/mega drive version. I read some either wrestling or game magazine back then and they showed him in a screenshot. Super Nintendo was suppose to have someone else, possibly Kwang also. But I do remember Randy Savage was shown in the game also. Maybe that's why they ended up on the game gear version.
My neighbor was freaking obsessed with pro-wrestling when we were young. He had all of the LJN Sega Genesis games, and insisted on playing them constantly. He would even leave the character select menu on for long times, parking on certain wrestlers so he could hear the 16-bit versions of their theme songs on loop. He particularly loved the Undertaker, insisting that he actually had supernatural powers and always looked cool. I told him to imagine the Undertaker on the toilet, squeezing out turds. Yeah, my youth was pretty terrible.
@Wrestling Bios fun secret if you look to your either right or left on the next matchup screen you will see the wwf logo attitude era version it wasn’t even on tv yet so it looks like they guess the future lol
Good times - a few thigns i remember - you could knockout the referee - if you did it multiple times he would leave the ring. Another thing was that the cpu sometimes had help by another cpu character that suddenly came into the ring- i think it often happened when i beat them over and over with chairs. One effect was a reversal of the opponent outside into a ring bell that made a noise and knocked them out. One the Gameboy version i was really annoyed - because at certain times there appeared a glitch outside of the ring - some kidn of black square - and i assumed that was the bucket that i was promised to hit people. (spent hourse trying to pick it up)
Love this. i have this on the genesis. Doink had this move where he will turn the opponent into a ball then kick him out of the ring lol. Good for the rumble.
When I was a kid, I RENTED this game and wrestlemania so many times, I could have owned both twice. They were so good. I didn't know about the secret characters or cheat codes for changing the stats. The music was my favorite part of the games. Plus they added the bucket in the second one which was so funny. They also removed Tatanka and Crush for what it's worth.
Feels like they could’ve had a bigger roster. They were missing Crush, Tatanka, Adam Bomb, Headshrinkers, Mabel, Jeff Jarrett, Bob Holly, Bob Backlund.
YES! I had the 32X version of the game lol...probably one of like 100 people. Kwang as a secret character was completely baffling to me. Like, the roster did include the BEST wrestlers at the time. However, they could have definitely had British Bulldog instead for sure!
This WWF RAW SNES Rocks🎵🎵🌛🔥🔥🤼 !! is so cool me and little brother played this he was 9 I was 16 that year we had all kinds matches whack each other with that chair we knew the staff would put a new out after 60 seconds so it never got old LOL!😆😲😃💺💺and the bucket we beat each other🥊🥊☑ to see who grabs it first we knock out the Ref so much he gave up and left the ring ha ha so much memories that SS matches the Rumble and WWF matches u name it we played that in the game! 🤘👍✌
My channel has the finishing moves for the Game Gear version of Raw. Except Bigelow and Savage cause positioning opponents is picky. I’m not sure if I pulled off Luger’s forearm but uploaded anyway. I’ve never seen his finisher on the portable games of Raw.
Honestly, I enjoyed Royal Rumble more. There was something about Raw that didn’t seem right. I loved the Roster for Raw, but Royal Rumble was awesome. I wish someone could somehow mod these games with updated wrestlers and content! If somebody has, PLEASE someone let me know!

Wrestling Bios, can you do one for WWF Warzone and WWF Attitude please? I know you didn't like them but I did enjoy those games and there was some good features about them, at least you had the PlayStation versions, I had the Nintendo 64 versions and the PlayStation versions were better. Remember the grudge matches in the Challenge Mode in WWF Warzone and how the Superstars would appear on the screen in a cut scene promo video of the real Superstar challenging you to the grudge match? Well that didn't happen on the Nintendo 64 version, instead the Superstar would appear in the gym working out on a punching bag until they eventually would look at the screen and say one of their in game quotes. The entrance music in WWF Warzone on the PlayStation version was accurate as well where as the Nintendo 64 version wasn't. This would improve on the Nintendo 64 version of WWF Attitude but there's things about WWF Attitude on the PlayStation version that makes it better than it's Nintendo 64 version still.

Thankfully I only paid $25 for a CIB copy of Raw for the 32X some years ago. Personally I'd say it's the best version out of them all but as you mentioned you're BARELY getting anything new to justify the extra cost in order to play it.
I had the Genesis version of this game back when I was 14 at the time it came out. I loved the tag partner choke move when an opponent got to close to your corner, the chair, bucket, and ring bell as outside weapons. But the greatest part of this game, was something I stumbled onto at the time: As you can knock the ref out easily just by running over him, I remember knocking him out so many times with my wrestler, that he actually got up and left the ring, exiting through the crowd in the middle of the match. The match later turned into suddendeath which I won.
Man if Hulk Hogan hasn't left the WWF yet when this game is in development we could have a pre-nWo team-up in this game with the likes of Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Syxx already in there.
One of my favourite personal challenges was trying eliminate every single wrestler in the Royal Rumble mode with a back body drop. I think I succeed once haha.
You missed the "Super Punch" code for the Super Nintendo. Tap up+Y&B as the game is loading up and you will hear a gunshot to confirm. You can knockout any character with one or 2 punches. Loved playing that way.

I remember watching WrestleMania 11 and at the end Todd Pettengill would give you tips and codes on the game. During the first title screen, if you hold the start button down and press up 5 times the screen will flash. You would now be able to beat your opponent with 3 punches.
RANDOM TRIVIA: When Wrestlemania:The Arcade Game, Kevin Nash(Diesel)was supposed to have the end boss of the game,but a scheduling conflict on WWF(E)'s part caused Nash to miss that lil' time off
The subtle differences were awesome. 1-2-3 Kid punching super fast in the corner. Yokozuna being unliftable by the majority of the wrestlers...that stuff was an improvement over Royal Rumble. I really did like THAT element of it.
Great video! I think Quang was the hidden character because they didn't have to capture image a brand new wrestler, just slap on mask and bam you got Quangs model.
I had this on Genesis back in the day, and my friend had the SNES version. We had to give the edge to the Genesis version though. Sure, the SNES version looks and sounds better, but we always played bedlam matches, and the SNES would chug and slowdown with the sprites of four wrestlers and a ref on the screen. Even worse, try a Royal Rumble and let six wrestlers fill the ring, The Genesis will chug too, but the SNES version can be almost unplayable at times.
This game was 🔥 on SNES....me and an ol friend used to go hard on this in the 90's. Good times Devin💯

Alundra Blaze or Bull Nakano would have been a better choice for a female wrestler.
