Thanks Sir - that Mushers Secret is fantastic stuff - i use it in the north here every winter - i even know sum folks that use it in AZ and NM for the hot sand -- and those seat covers are fantastic aswell - i have had them for years i looked around for a Mountain Prairie vest - but theyre scarce - maybe by next fall - thanks again for your down to earth videos - much appreciated
I thank you for the boot recommendation this summer 👍👍 PS I inherited my father’s 1955 sweet 16 but it’s a fixed choke maybe I should get some boss loads for it ?
@@DuckbumSD sorry about your dad, but yes, you should enjoy his gun. You CAN shoot steel through them, as long as you keep shot small, like 4 & smaller. Today's steel shot cups are real good at protecting barrels. But for much of my pheasant hunting, 4 steel would be worthless, if not irresponsible. I highly recommend Boss bismuth for old guns. 5's are good enough for a lot of pheasants. 4's are good for pretty much ALL pheasants.
Riveting content. Need more Ace and more Brent’s face, but otherwise, good to know. A guy doesn’t need a strap on vest and all the other fancy stuff that’s marketed to hunters to be comfortable in the field.
@@scottschaeffer8920 it's Musher's Secret, although it's really not that big a secret. Google it & buy a 1 lb container online. (454 g) I apply it liberally before every hunt in significant snow.

I agree with all of what you said, especially the riveting part. Thanks Lu!
Any suggestions on where I might find that dog salve? On line? Agree, my Springer’s paws & underside get tore-up from ice & crusty snow.

Bru get good lighting and background
@@leahkm07 Facts. You know that diva pheasant hunter has a ring light laying around.
@@leahkm07 bruh I'm a minimalist pheasant hunter. But I'll try to do better.
@@jcwoutdoors a ring right? What's that?
@@lilbrowhydaw I just heard some guys from Wisconsin talking about em. Might have been an O Ring light. Google it.
@@jcwoutdoors Nah, after your explanation, I no longer care at all. I thought it's sounded faffee.
