The friend is a good one. She never dismissed the black dress, she told her she looked stunning... but not her dress. I've seen episodes where the friends were very hurtful in their comments.
Yeah she was like. “Would u like to hear my comment?” Wow.
Yeah, she also had a good point. She can wear a black dress any time, but she has the occasion to wear a wedding dress only once - in happy cases I mean
My mom was the same way when we went in October. I'm glad just her and I went because it was a relatively low stress day even with my anxiety and nitpicking at myself because of my body dismorphia & insecurity related to my stomach. I found my dress that made me say OMG 😱🤩an feel like a million dollars I didn't cry like on the show but even though it's a figure hugging dress it cuts in the right way like hers does that makes it look so flattering and gorgeous. Even despite my insecurity I still found one that made me feel like a queen which I honestly didn't think was going to happen.
Right? And the friend's critiques were spot on. Kind and honest, never mean. That's what a friend should be while helping you choose your dress.
I saw an episode where the mom kept hammering on how ugly her daughters tattoo was and telling her all the stuff she liked wasn’t right :( made me sad

Ikr, but like her friend said, it's more of a event dress then a wedding dress.
The black dress looked best on her even if it was too gothic-like. The white dresses she tried on didn't have any wow in my opinion.

They wanted to feel what shape of dress she wanted. It was stated at the start of the video. Plus the first dress you put on is rarely the dress you're going for. It's basically the trial version where you see what you want or don't want in your dress.

@@babynoodle42 well I've seen in the show in the off chance that it is over the budget and the bride truly loves it. If the designer, it was the same designer shown here I think her name was pnina tornai, allows it they sometimes negotiate or make a deal or even give it to the maximum amount they could give but this RARELY happened.

The black dress was extraordinary, a piece of art, so shiny, really fitting, this bride was born to wear black and rock it but ... White can be as dark as goth as well and I'm surprised to watch how good she looks with her dress. This is my favorite episode from Kleinfeld, when a bride knows and show her lovely side. The second and the third dresses were really good, the third one with the simplicity was phenomenal. Everything here was adorable.

That's why I think the white dress actually works SO well for her. The black was gorgeous, but in the white dress her hair just POPS. Instead of the dress being the star, SHE is the star.

My mom died when I was 10 months old and my grandmother raised me and she passed when I was 24. I got married when I was 31. But I know they were both there watching over me. I got married on my grandparents 75th wedding anniversary in honor of them raising me. I got married in the same church on the same day at the same time.

Now, that’s a good friend, not discouraging her friend from trying on the black dress but letting her come to the conclusion on her own that that is not the right dress for her wedding .
I think she did the opposite. I think she swayed her opinion to the white dress and made her feel like it was her decision when it probably wasn’t. She even implied that she try on another dress and made a point to mention “a white dress”.
@@Mysteriuminiquitatis1998thing is, though. Her best friend said that the bride is slightly traditional and she was right. There were a few moments that confirmed it too.
So maybe she did sway it, maybe she didn't. Maybe its a mix. Idk. But i think the bride got the dress she wanted and got to feel like a bride also.

Best ep yet. This consultant knew how to do her job, he listen to the bride, kept in budget and no Pnina in sight. She only but her in the over budget black dress so the bride can see, I have a feeling there weren’t too many choices in black. This really reminded me of a Gok ep.

I've watched so many of these videos and this one had me tearing up. She looked stunning and i feel for her i lost my father at 17 after only having him in my life as my dad for 2 years. It breaks my heart knowing he wont be physically there for my wedding but i know he'll be walking with me in spirit. Just as her dad will be with her on her special day
Alex and her friend are possibly the nicest people I've ever seen on this show. I loved the black dress but I also loved the dress Alex chose and it's 100% perfect for her venue and her vision.

My dress for my wedding was a olive green medieval dress (game of thrones style) with a long cape and my daughter, who has never watched the show for obvious reasons, wanted to be a dragon on the back. That’s the only thing she knows about either show. Dragons. 😂
The only parts My sons were allowed to watch were the dragons as well 😂

I did like the white one with long sleeves she tried on. But it sort of "competed" with her tattoos. But the one she chose is so perfect. And her arm art shows and complements the look, imo.

There’s no drama here because you can tell she’s a no drama person. Her bestie was tastefully honest and the bride chose to have this day be of her own opinions so it was just the two of them. Some people like to do things more independently while others like to share it with others and either route is ok.

Man I love the black dress XD The second dress was a little too big in the sleeves, and i think could have been a bit more sheer on her arms with a lower neckline would have been good. Last dress was perfection on her! It showed her curves, her pretty tats, and she was so pretty!
