      I know you may not be trying to, but by telling her that she is "articulate" is a microaggression. It propitiates the idea that a person of color would be assumes as less articulate. I know it isn’t on purpose but please be more aware of this :) Rather commend her on her ideas and insights and not her way of speaking-it’s unnecessary.

      @@alexanderl.2483 although it is a compliment in a lot of situations, it tends to be a microagression when it's said towards black people because there is a bias against black people when it comes to the way that they speak (speaking from experience)

    Thank you so much for sharing your essays! i loved the one about your parents it’s so genuine and heartfelt! this is really helpful especially on being unique on the supplementals, im gonna be applying to colleges in September so wish me luck i guess :))

    I'm a rising senior, and I am planning to apply to schools through QuestBridge. Did you re-use your QB long essay for your common app or did you have different essays for the two?

    Im trying out for a high school in three weeks and im so scared, it does have a 7% acceptance rate out of the people that try out but usually only smart people do it so good luck to me

      @@meenakshia6859 I got rejected because they decided to do lottery, but I got the highest score on my essay and entry exam from all the people IK who got in
