Timeless and Iconic New York City Wedding Video "If It's Only Time"

Sydney and Ran wed in the heart of NYC with an evening ceremony at Elizabeth Street Garden, a dinner at the iconic Balthazar, pedi cabs that took them to their rooftop after party at the Nine Orchard.
All locations just a few subway stops away from Ran’s art studio in the heart of Dumbo. Where he pursues painting the simple complexities of the ocean.
Ran describes the ocean in such thought provoking ways. Leading you to ponder all of its intricacies- its trickling light that invites you to dream, it’s pulsing waves that mimic the rhythm of our bodies, and depth that grounds you into the beauty of the beckoning unknown. Inviting you to live in the present, but with intrigue of what’s to come and what has been. So much of the feelings the ocean illicits, in all its cliches, feels so much of the feelings of loving another person deeply.
This studio, that houses his paintings, is their safe space. A quiet invitation in the heart of an ever moving city. It felt so right to meet the two of them here before their wedding to listen to their wedding song. With lyrics so connected to their story and love-
“If it’s only time, everything else can wait. Let it stop a while, let me watch you smile and stay with you in this place”
In my time dreaming up this film with them, they stated that they wanted this film to feel like their love letter to NYC. Creating a film with that sentiment in mind, paired with a transcendent encapsulation of their love and the celebration of it, was so creatively fulfilling.
Two stellar humans with an undeniable love for one another. In all of its simple complexities.
I love that in the beginning, you get to see the vastness of Ran’s artwork, and then at the end it brings you into the finer details. As if you’ve been immersed in their story and its intricacies by the final scene.
I hope you enjoy this film and feel connected to the warmth, ease and joy of their love. It is so worth celebrating!
