The ceremony seems to be under a chuppah and the groom stepped on a glass but you are not a rabbi? Were you just taking parts of a Jewish wedding? I hope this doesn’t sound rude, I’m just confused and would love to know more
Anyone can officiate these days!! Can be a friend or family member, doesn't have to be a rabbi or other religious leader :) Up to the couple to decide which traditions they want to use or not
A Jewish wedding is a wedding with someone Jewish, and including some Jewish traditions/ritual, so you can ABSOLUTELY have a Jewish wedding with no Rabbi, although observant Jews will always have a rabbi.
They actually tried to have a rabbi but couldn’t find someone who would do a Friday night service, so they asked me! I didn’t read any Hebrew - we just incorporated a couple of classic Jewish traditions (wine ceremony, glass breaking, etc.)! No blessings!

Definitely prefer this sort of thing over a huge wedding, although 80 guests would still be a lot for me. The venue was cool too
