I have a question about the whip antenna. The last 1/4” extends out of the case. Should this always be pulled out of the case when using? What is the best way to keep the antenna from breaking the case, and remain in good working order. I’ve read some people have had problems with this....
Hi..I am Deniz from Turkey..I have a small question. When I plug in a extarnal antenna jack fm is off.There is no sound.But other bands is on..Is this a ptoblem or normal? Thanks
Hello Nice video, what antenna do you place inside the green inlet to have strong sw signals? I can receive only broadcasting Am and Fm and of course no SSB at all. I would appreciate your help very much. (Sorry for my English)
@@franciscole3039 I stored it for about 2 years without batteries. If the spring contacts have corroded at all, cleaning them has not helped. The DC adaptor is packed away somewhere so I have sent for a new one to see if that works. The shed is not the ideal place to keep a radio, as it's pretty damp here by the sea. If the radio has died I'll probably replace it with a Tecsun PL-330. Update: It's dead. I've ordered the Tecsun.

I wish it had a tuning dial and a larger display and a bunch of other things but I still love the radio. It’s so solid and feels great to hold. I use a Sangean ANT-60 and it makes a big difference.

I bought this about 6 years ago and it’s new in the box. Do you think it will last a while if taken care of?
I have nightmares all the time about owning a SW radio that looks like that and several others then someone steals them.
