I am not trying to be rude or negative because you seem a nice guy and the build is interesting but it feels like you are trying too hard to be Matt Armstrong but without doing the remotest amount of actual work and I find it frustrating somehow.
Nowadays everybody gets inspiration from somewhere or someone… Its a project and he is simply doing a video of that process… theres a lot of youtubers doing restoration/project car…
We've probably seen it (almost) all by now, really hard to come up with something completely new and that's fine. Simple build and roadtrip series, if not overdone works well as always. I'm glad we can have that insight in all the work, not easy to experience such level of craftsmanship and attention to detail on customers car. I love the process of creation!
advise to you Magnacars, it's your choice if you take it or not, but e-brake springs play a BIG ROLE in a car braking system, their job is to essentially provide immense tension between the 2 e-brakes, and brake shoes, with that being said, from what I've seen as a young mechanic, the spring that bent was reinstalled incorrectly and is furthermore damaged, failed to repair it could lead to binding brakes, locked wheels on the highway and even damage the diff, torque convertor or auto gearbox
same, first time i put the spare wheel on a 190e with the standard wheel bolts it ripped apart the whole handbrake shoe and the springs were wedged down the slot where the parking cable comes through lol
dude your videos are my favorite and it inspires me to work on my is300 everyday i cant wait to see the car done love the videos and keep up the great work dude :)
Seeing the wing in the background while you drove it down makes me think you should leave the window spoiler off. It just looked so cool and I'd like to think you thought so too every time you looked in the mirror
@ConsterVonDDR the 2.5 was a good daily alterative to the cosworth 2.3. More common and cheaper maintenance. It's only a small 4 door saloon, so 2.5 makes it plenty quick enough. Getting an original Cosworth dog leg manual may be tricky and costly but a regular 5 speed would still be better than a crap 80s auto.
Guuuuuyyyys I love this content, but I think you wasted a lot of money on this project, but if you are happy so I be, but you need to be careful with the bolts u can easily tear off your brakes. It seems so that in the US / Canada 190E are way more expensive as in Germany. Was it 2700 US or Canadian?

All 80s\90s come automatic
@Alounsay euhm no .
Most 190's are manual..
Maybe the ex taxis with the diesel engines.
Never seen a petrol baby Benz with an automatic
@@rogiervandersterren9138 idk here if you search for one for sale it's rarely a manual, it can still be manual swap tho
The car is a work in progress, but it somehow already looks damn nice! 👍😍🤤
The lug problem that’s classic Mercedes I believe it has happened to all of us 😂😢
"Green Fn" We all said in unison😊😊
What's wrong with the side of the wing at 9:05 mark? It looks kinda wrapped.

Keep the signatures on the bonnet.
Man please look up Martin Odegaard - tell me what you see🤔🤔. Wow
One of my favourite saloon cars ever...shame its a shitty auto slushbox.
why everyone disregarding engine swaps and tranny swaps? its not his fault they didnt offer a bigger engine spec for the sport line of 190e, smh
