I have a Stihl 192, which has been a great saw. I have an Echo 2511t also. Once I started really using the Echo there was no contest. The 2511t is so light weight. It may take a bit longer to cut, but its weight wins the day. I just cut a 15" branch from a ladder. Yes. 15". To do the undercuts and then the top cuts to drop the branch was way easier with the lighter Echo. Its lighter weight allows me to maneuver it around the bottom, sides and top. I am not able to hold the Stihl one handed for the undercut. Too heavy for me. I guess if I had Popeye forearms I could. But I don't. The Echo has proven to be a beast so far.
FWIW, the Echo comes with the worst possible safety chain known to man (Echo's lawyers suggestion?). A fairer comparison would be putting the same chain and bar on both.
I run my 2511t with 12" stihl 63PS chain and it's awesome!! I work with another tree service that runs a 194t and mine smokes it. Mine all the the exhausts opened up though.
MS 194T DISPLACEMENT 31.8 cc (1.94 cu. in.) ENGINE POWER 1.4 kW (1.88 hp) POWERHEAD WEIGHT 3.3 kg (7.28 lbs.) CS2511T is 25 CC Engine Power about 1.5hp Powerhead weight 5.2 lbs The advantage is 50% less wt and near cutting power. Agree with others that a fair comparison would only be with the same bar and Chain. Which can be done easily as other have shown with the Stihl 3/8P chain and 14 inch bar. No doubt the MS 194T is sweet saw.
@@travdirtbikejunkie yes it really sucked when I bought it cut the muffler in half and removed what appeared to be some sort of catalytic converter, and preyed the red caps off the carb adjusting screws it ran a lot better but nowhere as good as the Stihl. Maybe need to look into some better mods🥴
And You Need Too Gas Up The Echo’s Micro Fuel Tank After Two Big Cuts Like That The Main Disadvantage Of the Echo Is It’s Fuel and Oil Capacity I Stihl Love My MS-200T Over Either Saw But The Echo Over The 194-T Stihl
Of course the little echo isn’t designed to do that. It’s for cutting small branches up in a tree. And the Stihl is a far more expensive chainsaw. I have a cheap top handle 25cc saw and it’ll rip through pretty much anything. Ok, I had to tune it and fix several broken parts when it arrived new, but it’s incredibly powerful and torquey.

hollow out that muffler and tell me you cant out cut a 271
Yes ..echo is very light can use one hand until my work on tree finish...at high tree weight is factor...and..safety also.
The echo with a 1/4 pitch chain absolutely rips, plus its insanely light weight, the echo wins for me everytime
We will see just ordered 1/4” chain bar and sprocket new videos coming soon 👍
These saws are in two different weight categories, so to speak. The echo is more closely comparable to a Stihl MS 151t.
I'd like to see stihl ms 194 vs echo 362. Good Job!

The Echo saw is 2.2 kg, you can easy swing it around one handed.
I love my 194t its a great saw. I'm just a fan of stihl saws. Great video
Stihl the best chain saws

The ms194t is a great saw with the right mods!
It’s bone stock. No mods
I did not mean your saw, just referring to my 194t, it runs like a raped ape
@@realstihl2105 any mods to the echo?

The echo 2511t costs 10 bucks more than a 194t
The echo is cutting the thicker log I have the carving bar it’s a lower pitch chain and would fly through that
Non conosco la sthil, ma sono in possesso di 2 echo. Cosa dire grandi motoseghe per potare. 👍
I am glad I made the right choice.
Эхо прикольная штука.
Did you put a different chainwheel on?
No it’s all stock with a sharp chain
What's a chain wheel? Another term for sprocket?
Merci
chain on both
31 vs 25....
Apples to oranges
I will never underdtand why people choose this echo chainsaw
Because it is light. When you are cut and holding branches up a tree it is much less fatiguing than a heavier saw
