I wonder if you have ever considered voicing an audiobook. Your voice is wonderful and so calming and easy to listen to! How amazing it would be to listen to you narrate a fairytale!
I'm a retired librarian, and also a lover of words and books. I'd like to mention a few books I love: -The Lost Spells, by Robert MacFarlane & Jackie Morris -The Lost Words, by the same authors. Both books have incredible watercolors. -The Secret Lives of Color, by Kassia St. Clair. It gives the history of almost any color you can imagine. Even the pages are color-coded on the edges. -The Land of Stone Flowers: A Fairy Guide to the Mythical Human Being, by Sveta Dorosheva. Told from a fairy's point of view. Impressive art! Thank you for your beautiful videos!
Hi Jean :) I saw your book list and I was quite enchanted, so I straightaway ordered both Robert Macfarlane books! Thank you for sharing the names here. I am looking forward to receiving them, a little pre-Christmas gift for myself :)
Haha just looking up your list I realize I have The lost words it’s a beautiful book. I’m definitely going to order the land of stone flowers, that looks beautiful thank you for your recommendations.
I'm deployed and your videos give me so much peace. I'm not anywhere dangerous but it is draining constantly being on guard and constantly worrying for and taking care of my men's problems. I can't wait to be home and enjoy a quieter, slower, more peaceful pace and place.
I’m going to stop using my phone from tomorrow and before I disconnect myself from this world. I just want to let you know that your videos are therapeutic.I love every single one of them. Thank you for being here and sharing your thoughts with us.
If we are not made for this world, how come we are here? And we come equipped with lungs and legs and kidneys and all the necessary parts to survive on this planet?
I am trying to avoid youtube and social media as much as possible. I decided that if the content is not healthy for my mental state, I will not view it. I always watch your videos because they are so calming. Thank you for sharing your story and your journey.
I often weep when I watch your videos. This is the life I crave...the one that will bring color and joy back to my life. Your videos tell me that healing is within my grasp, and that everyone deserves peace. Thank you.
Your parents house looks so cozy and filled with heart and love. And the snow! Gorgeous! I know of course that it's not a perfect fairytale you or your parents live but you give me so much relaxation and positivity with these beautiful shots, music and thoughts. I could cry because of the happiness I felt during this video. THANK YOU PAOLA. I wish you and your loved ones beautiful, relaxed and blessed Christmas and a happy new year in advance. ❤️ Also a ghost hug from me. I will also stay with my parents for over one week. Looking forward to spend quality time with them. ❤️
It’s funny because in French, we have a sentence (not a word) for that nostalgic feeling caused by a smell (or anything else). We call it « La madeleine de Proust » (Proust’s madeleine) because, Marcel Proust in his book called « La recherche du temps perdu » taste a madeleine cake and all his childhood memories are brought back because of the smell and the taste of the cake. It’s now a common saying in French, to refers as Madeleine de Proust an element that bring back memories and nostalgia. I wish you and your family great holidays.
Actually I thought about that as well although I am not French. In English too there’s a word for it… Proustian moment! Actually I’ve had Proustian moments so often even before I came to know there was a word for it and the story behind it! Coincidentally I love Madelines too 😊 I’d love to read À la recherche du temps perdu sometime! In the time I’ve spent knowing and reading about it, I could’ve read a lot of it by now 😂 but well… Btw, there’s a holiday/festival in India called Deepavali or Diwali around the end of November the festival of lights and it’s something cottage fairy and many of us would love! 🕯️
Hello everyone ❤️ hope you are well * my brother made some new music if you are interested in his work: th-cam.com/video/1w4bBTyZ1Gc/w-d-xo.html *a little correction on this video, the words I mentioned are mostly coined by the dictionary itself, they are not old words, but new ideas. I have not been feeling great this week and my brain is fried, sorry!!!! *I am working on correcting the Spanish subtitles, they are currently auto translated but will be reviewed ASAP
Wow, I was journaling about "anemoia" this morning without even realizing it! Thank you for helping me put it into words, as well as sharing that C.S. Lewis quote. I was reflecting on the deep longing I have in my heart, and made the connection of my longings to the garden of Eden. To be arm-in-arm with the Lord, walking through luscious greenery and flowers, feeling the sun and the radiance of God on my face, and enjoying the peace of a world without sin, darkness, and death. We were not made for this world, and maybe, just maybe, that longing deep inside for that nostalgic wonderland that we've never experienced is a longing for the days of Eden that our oldest ancestors experienced, and the glorious days to come? Anyways, I thought it wasn't a coincidence that I had these musings this morning, and that you shared similar ones today too. Thank you for creating a place on the internet where I feel seen and known, and not silly for writing a little journal entry on your TH-cam video comments
The rapture! Because it did exist ! Our memories will soon come back!😊🕊️thanku for sharing🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌹Ur dream and Ur family for sharing the house ,one my favourite videos of yours...the favourite actually....the dream...it's real🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌
Allie , I was looking for a comment like yours. We know that God will fulfill all of our longings. Knowing Him, we can experience some of that now but we also have the hope of His promise of eternity. It's nice to to learn about other beliefs and traditions but always remember as Jesus said, " I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,no one comes to the Father except by Me". ( John 14:6 - my emphasis). 😊 ~ Heather ~
@@bradrushing5959 as me also 😊😁 the rapture is near...ppl who aren't even Jesus follower have been experiencing rapture like things....🕊️💓. Iv been wondering why father hasn't spoke to anyone .... I wonder what he is doing...
Thank you for your comment, you articulated my feelings well. When I first saw this C.S. Lewis quote I just KNEW that there was more to life than this little earthly existence. So grateful for the gift of faith, hope, and peace that I have received this year. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas! God bless you 🙏🏼 😊 ❤️
Wonderful video!! We are in the season of Advent right now. This is in anticipation of the coming of Christ the infant. This season is much like lent in that we prepare our hearts ( purify/ repent). Come Lord Jesus- Emmanuel!
The beauty of nature is always heartbreaking to me, and I’m never quite sure why or how to explain it. I also always seem to long for a home that doesn’t exist.... Much love to you
"A heartbreaking sort of beauty" is the exact thing I feel every time I watch one of your videos. I often cry when I watch them. I used to not understand why, but you described it perfectly. I cannot put into words how wonderful these videos make me feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤
I celebrate Christmas, but also St. Lucia Day on December 13, which I may like a little bit more! It's a Scandinavian holiday that celebrates light in the darkest time of the year. The oldest daughter wears a crown of candles on her head and brings a tray of goodies to her family. Jonna Jinton has a couple of gorgeous videos about it!
Your parents' home is lovely! "A yearning for a reality we innately know yet cannot grasp." "So many mysteries worth considering." ❤❤ Your watercolors are beautiful!"
A yearning for what we know but cannot grasp sounds like heaven. ...eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9.
Anemoia has taught me to simply live in the moment. Why would I feel nostalgic but desperate to live in a perfect future when I don't make time to appreciate and acknowledge what is truly happening in the moment. Thank you very much Paola. Happy Holiday to you and yours.
Seeing that you’ve posted another video is like finding a sweet gift from an old friend. Something to be slowly unwrapped and savored; each so calming and reflective. Between the scenery, music and your calming tone of voice, you always help me to genuinely relax and settle down from the stress of life. Thank you 🙏🏻
Paola, your definition of anemoia is the closest to “hiraeth”, a welsh word that defies concise and precise description, that I‘ve ever heard! I love that you have found this connection between cultures!
Your videos are “magic” because they encourage us all to see the beauty and magic of everyday life. I agree that there are things out there beyond the realm of our comprehension, and we should all be open to experiencing the mysteries of other cultures, other languages and other faiths. C.S. Lewis is one of my favourite writers so I love that you quoted him! Enjoy your family time😊.
It worries me how so many people just don't get it. Simple things and moments are the most wonderful and most remembered things in life. Nature, gathering together, good food, laughing, enjoying creativity, a hot tea, solitude, fresh air, so many miracles everyday.
Hi, Paola. It's been months since I started working and I sometimes feel really exhausted. It is in your videos where I also find peace and relaxation. Thank you very much for helping me to be inspired and motivated. 😊 Belated happy birthday and I am happy for every good thing that has happened to you this year 💙
anemoia....this is my everyday. I feel like I was born at the wrong time most days. I agree with you about what you learned about the English language. Since I speak Italian and French fluently, I often feel like I can't find a good equivalent word in English for a certain feeling or nuance. In any case, loved the video. Reminded me to love the little things. That is where the beauty is...to breath is to grateful and to be in the presence of something awesome, our own ability to be. Thank you.
I miss snowy winters so much! I used to live in a country where it gets to -25 degrees celsius in winter, and of course never loved it. I dearly miss these snowy cold winters now, because where I live in England we don't get much snow at all, and temperatures below 0 C at night seem scary. Haha that's nothing in comparison though! :) I remember when it got down to -25C we didn't have to go to primary school, and when it got below -27 C we could skip high school. Those were good times :)
I am so happy I found your channel. The quietness....the beauty of the world around you...your lovely voice....all heals my Soul. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh Paola the house of your parents looks magical! The combination of wood and the colourful windows is so beautiful, I felt at home just watching it through the video
Hi, cottage fairy! I resonate with a lot of the content you put out! Just want to say I'm happy and grateful to have found another person that I feel close to in a way of understanding and seing things in a certain way!
What a beautiful video. It’s absolutely a treat every week. I don’t know if ever heard of St. Lucia? It’s celebrated on the 13th of December. Especially in Scandinavia they celebrate it. Saffron buns , singing and a young girl dressed as St. Lucia with a crown of greenery and candles. The thought was that she brought the light back into the world. Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
what a joyful discovery ❤️ I sit in the heat of the Australian summer watching this, the sensation of warmth on my skin and the hot wind, the cicadas chorus is ever present. I am enjoying this complete juxtaposition of the landscapes on my screen. A summer Christmas is all I have ever known so it is familiar and I love my home country. But I am inspired to experience a snowy Christmas at least a few time in this life .
Thank you for acknowledging that not everyone finds this time of year easy. For some of us, it is a time of year that weighs heavily with loss and sorrow. Thank you for seeing us.
In this video as we watch the magnificent beauty of nature and Gods creation, while you draw pictures of its beauty, you create more beauty relating to the english vocabulary of often unspoken words left hidden in our hearts. The artistic nature of it all combined while your pet dog chases a quick snowball or piece of wood left on the ground is a winter wonderland of artistic perfection. Thank you for your artistry.
I just love your dog and how happy he is to play in the snow with a frozen stick lol. Hubby and I have always loved using words that most don't even know exist let alone use and they always look so confused. It's really sad to see the extent of the dumbing down that has been going on in our schools in America. One can only hope that all of the hateful teaching will be put to a stop and that they will actually teach kids interesting and useful information. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!!!
Hello Paola: The most interesting people are always those who are drawn to, and fascinated by the myriad details of life and nature that elude most everyone else. I am always grateful for those people, and today, I am especially grateful to you for sharing your discovery of "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows." What a gold mine of thought provoking observations! I wish you and your family all the very best, and hope you might honor us with an introduction to them at some point.👍👍❤❤
I have experienced anemoia when I hear Native American wood flute or panflute music. My heart yearns for that time and place, that is not mine, but for which I feel a great tug on my heart strings.🥰
I love watching your videos at night when I am curled up ready for bed. I find them to be so calming and beautifully edited! The soft music in the background is so relaxing and lovely. I am so glad your sister will be coming home for the Holidays! All 4 of my children will be together this year too and they are so excited to all be together!! Like your family, we will be playing games, and eating delicious holiday treats as well. So glad to see your amazing art work, and I am anxious to hear more about this book of art you are compiling! I hope you and your fiance and family have a Wonderful Christmas!! Sending you lots of love and blessings!
I love this 19th century vibe, every shot is so granular, beautifully conceived and filmed. Slows us down in this world so ridiculously fast paced. I can exhale watching these. A public service. And your beautiful dog. Brings such comfort as does your art. I feel like you're Emerson or Thoreau writing from Walden Pond. Thank you.
Hey, so much to say. Beautiful watercolor art! Please don't get burnt out with replies and admin for this channel and then lose your creativity and joy of life because that's why we love you so much. Take care and thank you. Steve ☺️
"Reminds me to seek out the light no matter how dark the winter days become." Paola thank you once again for sharing your insight and wisdom. I am recovering from surgery this week and will try to remember to do this even though I am stuck at home. Thankfully I get to be with my parents also. Ps your parents house is beautiful. I love getting to see more of your magical world.
I completely understand the feeling of longing for a time or place not experienced in reality. I feel that way about a home of my own, a little nest of safety that protects us from the harsh world beyond. I've been yearning for this place for 43 years, and I am hopeful that this is the year when it will become a reality at last. And thanks for mentioning Yule! Our family has a Scottish and Scandinavian ancestry, so we celebrate Yule. It has much of the merriment and charm of Christmas, though I love that it, like the other pagan holidays, centers us fully in the magic of the seasons and the natural world. Brightest blessings to you!
The Snow Child........I just finished reading it a few days ago and wanted to thank you for recommending it. I loved it!! I immersed myself so deeply into the story that I was sad when I finished it. But a magical tale indeed. On another note, I adore Aiger!! He is always by your side, so loyal, and follows you, just wanting to be wherever you are. My black Lab was exactly the same. A true best friend. How I miss her. Enjoy your winter snow and all the magic it brings. ✨❄️✨❄️✨
Dear Paola…I quite suspect your videos are a reflection of your sweet personality. Once again, I thank you for the peace and calm that surrounds me while viewing and listening to them. May you and your family experience the light of warmth and magic this season. Blessed be & happy solstice. ❤️
It's Winter Solstice 2021...I just "found" you and so thankful that I did. I am 59 and looking forward to starting my new life with more simplicity, less drama, much much less computer time and much more self- love. I am so inspired by you and happy to have another wise woman to listen to when the fear and doubt comes. You are just lovely, inside and out. From one HSP to another, Blessed Yule and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I always celebrate the Longest Night. I tend to celebrate by lighting candles and having a simple Soup, Bread and Cheese and later a cup of tea while reading or watching the tree lights. It is a night of reflection
I started reading 'The Snowchild' by Eowyn Ivey because you recommended it and I'm loving it so far! It's so gorgeously written, it makes me smile and tear up. It's just so wonderful.
I just want to say I love this channel. I want this life. I love being quiet and enjoying my books and no drama. I dream of a life where I can wake up, walk through some gardens, cook some healthy meals, read my books in peace and say hello to my neighbors who are living the same way. Quietness and calmness. :)
Whoa, I am early. I am just a few seconds into the video and I can already feel how this video beautifully captures the wintry magic of the end of the year in the Northern hemisphere. Thank you for the beauty you share with the world, Paola! I have never skipped an update ever since I subscribed to you💙🌻
I usually celebrate Hanukkah alone. It is usually 8 lovely days of solitude. I hand-roll my own candles for the menorah out of beeswax, and doing so allows me to indulge in contemplation about gratitude and faith. This year, however, my boyfriend was visiting me for two weeks. He is not religious whatsoever - nor Jewish or familiar with its customs - but when he found out he would be here during the entirety of Hanukkah, he was so excited. He bought me 8 presents for each day, a "Hanukkah" candle with a personalized message on its label, and a handwritten card about how happy he is to spend the holiday with me (which, of course, made me cry). I work until very late at night, and I would come home to the menorah all clean and set up, complete with the candles he rolled himself as I taught him. It was such a wonderful, thoughtful way to spend a holiday that I had observed on my own for so long. I am so immensely grateful for him.
Wow, what a moment. When you described the nostalgic feeling of hearing a train whistle in the distance, you instantly invoked a memory deep in me of one of my favourite picture books as a child that I hadn’t thought about in decades. Pa’s Top Hat by Estelle Corney. Far out that was intense. 🚂 Thank you for your beautiful stories and love of language
Hello from over the Pond in England! I have been what most people would call a Pagan for 35 years and celebrate the Winter Solstice. My traditions are Celtic due to my DNA! I adore snow, but we don't get a great deal due to the jet stream from southern europe! Really we should be under the same snow as Norway! lol Thank you for sharing another lovely week! Bright Blessings for the season to you, your family, subscribers and watchers from another Sagittarian! Love and Light xx
The magic of that landscape is awe inspiring ❄️ the words you shared so beautifully capture my emotion when I dream of what heaven must be like. And the words of C.S Lewis so perfectly describe that. I believe God puts endless wonder in each of our hearts ✨
@Kindred River Beautifully said!! ✨ It's so very marvelous to take time to dream of what heaven will be like, isn't it?? The King of Kings will Himself wipe away every tear from His redeemed children's faces and a new forever life will begin!! No more sadness or fear or loneliness or illness or death... All light, all laughter, all peace and joy and beauty beyond compare!! Thanks for getting me thinking and dreaming about that day! ✨
Greetings from Poland! Your channel has just popped up on my YT list and after having watched one "episode" I already know that's exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. Your life, the views, your beautifilul house, all this reminds me of my happy childhood (I'm 42 now😊). I'm gonna go back and watch your previous films. They make me relax after a long day. Stay safe. Kasia
Wintering art reminds me of the snow geese that come to visit in Upstate New York. They are so beautiful. On a winter day, when they are in flight and the sun is shining, their white feathers facing the sun causes them to look like diamonds in the sky. It is such a wonderous sight. I am just in awe of God's beauty when He allows me to see such beauty. Thank you for sgaring. I hope you and your family have a great and treasured Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
Goodness, that was such a beautiful video Paola, so peaceful and calming. I especially loved it at the end when you acknowledge that the holiday season can be a difficult time for many. That is so true and I think it will help many of your viewers to know that you are aware of this, and thinking of them too. You're a wonderful soul! xxx
Hello! I am one of your avid subscriber who lives in the tropics. I am always in awe watching your videos and listening to your soothing stories. I say you are excellent in your field whether sketching your beautiful pieces and creating magical things with your hands. You have an enviable life. Watching your videos transports me to another place of wonder and tranquility. You have such wisdom. Stay happy, warm and just being YOU. God bless💕
Paola, you have the sensibility and intellect of a poet, especially in your opening narratives! You're so incredibly talented on many levels and bring such amazing light to all of us!
I experienced anemoia when I recognized and beheld such magnificent and majestic beauty all around the forest and mountains where I live which was created by the Creator of Heaven and earth. Much love, peace and blessings to you and your family. Feliz Navidad, Paola! 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻
It's going to be winter here in Canada very soon, and it's very soothing to watch your video in preparation for a season I'm dubious about. As an artist it reminds me that it's actually one of the best seasons for staying home and making art. Thank you, Paola, for helping me to remember who I am and that it's okay to be a gentle and sensitive person in this world.
Thank you for bringing so much beauty and light to the winter season. My kids love your videos and they can relate to you because we live in Germany and they look forward one day to settling down somewhere with lots of room to roam and experience nature.
I am grateful for my mom sharing her love of ambiance. It has always helped me cope during this time when loss is most felt. Last year I spent Yule alone as my husband of 3 years passed away in September. It was a long year this year, but I hung in there. Your channel has helped me do this. This year, I am happy to say that with some inner work I have found some happiness and looks like I'll be having Yule supper with the new love I found earlier this month. A very pleasant surprise for me. So hope is a good thing. My Yule celebrations are Christmas in origin, but as time goes by it gets filled with more and more pagan aspects as well as I'm becoming more in tune with nature. It's been a blessing to share my good fortunes with the birds and beasties that have frequented my yard this year. Sometimes Mother Nature's decorations are the best.
*what a stunning video this week* ! those drone shots are epic! That word, - nostalgia over a place you have never been before / or have not experienced? .. I guess that's how i felt about your videos and why they hit home immediately. it's like I had always been at your little cottage. I guess growing up watching the landscapes of prince Edward island, in anne of green gables, and little house on the prairie, little women, etc etc so many of my childhood memories are from movies that took place in areas that look like this side of Washington. mountains and lakes and these types of homes, have always lived in my heart. in a way they feel more like home in my heart, than my own home does. It is amazing what can live in the heart.
So serenely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your exploration of so many unique and compelling customs and traditions. Your artwork and the landscapes in your video melding into one was so satisfying to experience. Thank you again for your insights.
I purchased Yve's Fox orb. They are indeed, complex in design, exquisitely carved, and magical all at the same time!!! Thank you for sharing, and happy holidays to you, your family and all your viewers.
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do. You give me a smile when I don't, you calm me when I'm stressed, you rest me when I'm busy with work and most importantly, you give me hope when I'm thinking that the future is empty. You are one of my mentors who guides me towards the path I want to lead, far from the preconceived ideas of society. You are a light, and that, I will never forget. PS : french girl, sorry for the mistakes oupsi x)
The snow scenery you shared with us is absolutely stunning. It was so refreshing to see you playing with Iger. So adorable. Loved your artwork. What a blessing you have. Thank you for sharing it with us. Hope you enjoyed Christmas with your family. I also celebrate Christmas. O Come, O Come Emmanuel...
Your artwork is so beautiful. I'm always in awe of creative individuals and their works of art, whatever their chosen medium. I have always believed that I was born at least 100 years too late. I've always thought that I don't belong here, but back during the Victorian era. I've often said that I have an old soul.
It's so pretty to see snow on your cozy cottage.❄ My frozen heart has melted after I watched this video 😌...Thanks Paola! for always inspiring my life.😊Have a cozy and happy winter :) ⛄
You certainly do have a calming and genteel voice that would transfer wonderfully to an audio as another of your fans have suggested. Might be a project that could expand your horizon in a delightful way knowing others could keep fairy tales etc. to share with little loved ones maybe you could even illustrate as you do an absolutely beautiful depiction of what you are so talented at in artistry generally. I think of you as the peaceful artist of life. Love all your creations and hope your life is filled with bountiful joys in all your endeavors. Bless you and happy belated Birthday.
I have been struggling the past few months and your videos have been such a blessing to my life. Your creativity and light bring me great joy, calm, and motivation ... thank you for your willingness to be vulnerable - that can't be easy. What a joy you bring to this world! What a blessing you are! Thank You! Many blessings sent your way from Colorado! I wish you a very beautiful Christmas! P.S! Your candle painting is absolutely fantastic!
This is exactly what I needed to see and hear right now. Your parents house looks like a fairy land I'd like to curl up and read in. Thank you so very much for the lovely thought provoking content you obviously put such hard work into. I wish you and your family a very blessed and happy holiday!
Paola, I just got to know your channel and hooked! I’m 64 mother of three and as a mother I want you to know that you truly inspire. You are so angelical and so young, and I’m learning from you. Que Dios te cuide y que siempre te brinde felicidad.
This Christmas...... I am very happy. I am 68 years old and now I am going to be a grandmother. My grandson Eduardo will arrive at the beginning of March. This Christmas is already special for me and our family. Thank you for sharing so many beautiful pictures...... MERRY CHRISTMAS dear!
You live in a gorgeous landscape! It looks so beautiful, especially with the snow. I think living like that in a cozy cabin or cottage is the dream of many people, I'm very glad that your parents could make that dream come true. I'm still working on fulfilling this dream for myself, but you're right: it's also important to be grateful for what you have now and I think that I made a huge progress in moving from the city to the countryside. 😍
How beautiful your parents house is, it seems so peaceful and settled. You are such a sincere and beautiful person. I wish you a very happy Christmas. Your painting are gorgeous.x
I have watched your video with a great pleasure. Your parents' cottage is so cozy and you are really lucky to live in this wonderful place. I also think that the environment where we live might forge our personality. You are a great person, with a very deep and introspective nuance. Thank you for this awesome video and I wish you a Merry Christmas, full of happiness and joy.
I feel we are soul sisters trapped in this world. I truly relate to this anemoia, you speak of. We are not of this world. Beautifully magical and enchanting music 🦄
I completely agree.....Paola, you bring to mind a young woman of 20 something from 100 years ago, such a beautiful, peaceful old soul. I have always felt as though I was misplaced in time , always watching the 'human race' from the outside. This time of year is very hectic for me, I always seem to get sucked into the 'rabbit hole' of busyness and consumerism and don't like it in the slightest. I need to try to find a way to celebrate Yule instead and invite my family to MY celebration which suits me and my quiet nature so very much more. 🕯🌟
I’ve finally mastered the appreciation and admiration of somebody else’s life without wishing away my own. Thank you, Paola.
Yes.
So well stated.
Excellent
I love this comment
What a profound comment.
Made me realize that I still have not perfected this....
We are a work in progress still I guess 💕
I wish I could say the same.
I wonder if you have ever considered voicing an audiobook. Your voice is wonderful and so calming and easy to listen to! How amazing it would be to listen to you narrate a fairytale!
I was wondering the same. Such a lovely speaking voice.
I stop whatever I’m doing and close my eyes and listen to your soothing voice.
I agree 👍
Great idea!

I love 'The Lost Words'. I bought the book for my grandchildren but I've kept it for myself :) Beautiful illustrations.
Hi Jean :) I saw your book list and I was quite enchanted, so I straightaway ordered both Robert Macfarlane books! Thank you for sharing the names here. I am looking forward to receiving them, a little pre-Christmas gift for myself :)
@@Woolgatherer_R Thank you, Rakhi! I hope you enjoy the books.
I can’t remember which one it is but I have read the one with the owl on the front. It’s beautiful. I will definitely check the rest out.
Haha just looking up your list I realize I have The lost words it’s a beautiful book. I’m definitely going to order the land of stone flowers, that looks beautiful thank you for your recommendations.

Love your videos.
We are not made for this world, we are made for our God's perfect greatness, love and eternity❤️ C.S. Lewis described it in such a wonderful way.
C.S. Lewis is one of my top favorite authors!!! 🥰😍
Sane Lelie. Which book of CS LEWIS are u referring? Love him . Ty so much.
@@laraoneal7284 I don't know Paola stated the quote. But Google says its from his book 'mere Christianity'

Have a lovely time with your family. I hope Father Christmas is good to you. Peace be with you.
I do cry its so beautiful!
In the time I’ve spent knowing and reading about it, I could’ve read a lot of it by now 😂 but well…
Btw, there’s a holiday/festival in India called Deepavali or Diwali around the end of November the festival of lights and it’s something cottage fairy and many of us would love! 🕯️
Hello everyone ❤️ hope you are well * my brother made some new music if you are interested in his work: th-cam.com/video/1w4bBTyZ1Gc/w-d-xo.html
*a little correction on this video, the words I mentioned are mostly coined by the dictionary itself, they are not old words, but new ideas. I have not been feeling great this week and my brain is fried, sorry!!!!
*I am working on correcting the Spanish subtitles, they are currently auto translated but will be reviewed ASAP
No need to be sorry ❤️ great to learn the new words and great to see you doing well. Happy holidays!

I agree with your beautiful words... Greetings from Nenne in Sweden
I feel exactly the same way...thank you for verbalizing something I can't seem to explain😢

"A yearning for a reality we innately know yet cannot grasp." "So many mysteries worth considering." ❤❤

Just my quarterly acknowledgement of your left handedness because I get happy seeing other lefties 🥰
I was just going to make this very comment when I saw yours! So happy to have fellow word lovers here.
She read it from the book she found in her parents home.

Happy Birthday! Lord Jesus. You fill my heart with peace and joy. Merry Christmas! everyone.
I totally agree, Jenny
C.S. Lewis is a master...that quote has always soothed my soul
I usually hear your voice to have a relaxing day, before go to bed and my motivation to start a very relaxing day. Thank you Paolita❤ We love you❤

anemoia....this is my everyday.
Take a vacation to somewhere it's going to snow, it should fill you up so much you won't miss it. 😄

Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
what a joyful discovery ❤️
I sit in the heat of the Australian summer watching this, the sensation of warmth on my skin and the hot wind, the cicadas chorus is ever present. I am enjoying this complete juxtaposition of the landscapes on my screen. A summer Christmas is all I have ever known so it is familiar and I love my home country. But I am inspired to experience a snowy Christmas at least a few time in this life .
This piece touched me. Seeing your artwork is warming to my soul. Thank you for all you share.
Have fun with your family! I love the softness of your videos. They are so calming and peaceful. You are an Angel. Thank you. 😊 💖😇🎨❄⛄
What hateful teaching?
Your drawings are absolutely stunning!!! You could illustrate children’s books. Beautiful 😍 Happy belated birthday 🎂
Wonderful story. Thank you
Wow, what a moment.

It's going to be winter here in Canada very soon, and it's very soothing to watch your video in preparation for a season I'm dubious about.
You really do have such a beautiful soothing voice, I wish you a lovely & most importantly happy New Year 💕
