Something my mom has started recently (which I think is brilliant) is decorating for the season, not the holiday. In December, she focused on fairy lights, greenery, cardinals, snowflakes, candles, pine cones, and other wintery items. This means that a lot of the decoration still works throughout January and February, especially the lights to add some brightness to dreary days. It also makes transitioning through other seasons easier, since some decorations can be reincorporated into the next season
I’m 65years old and I’m sitting in a cold car waiting for it to warm up sufficiently for me to drive the hour to work. It’s six degrees. I have not thought of wintering as a concept. It’s more a concern of safety for the animals, my old house, my old car and the feeling that I get that shouts stay home! Here’s to those very few but very precious moments of winter peace. ⛄️
This Winter I've been into "wintering" and it's been teaching me to slow down and live in the moment. I to finally just took down my Christmas decor and now I'm creating a cozy winter atmosphere. I lost my job in November so this Christmas I couldn't feel Christmas but I felt Winter and it's where I at now. I read at night with black tea with orange slice and cinnamon stick by candlelight. It's relaxing especially for the way I feel. It helps me feel grounded during such a time where I felt I lost my footing for a bit.
I always transition Christmas decor with winter decor. Mostly white and silver. Lots of blankets, snowflakes, candles, and lights. It helps combat the dreary winter days, and makes everything much more cozy. And I find that it's much more difficult to feel gloomy when you're in a cozy atmosphere.
I think winter, with its snow and cold weather (where I live) is beautiful! I love the crispness of the air and the whiteness everywhere... I love the sounds of winter--- the howling wind at times, the silence at others.… I love the "crunch" as I walk through the snow.... And I love the warmth of home as I come inside from a cold day...Drinking a hot beverage.... Reading a book by the window as it snows outside.... Knitting or crocheting something.,.. It's such a beautiful season! And I'm blessed to experience four seasons!!! ❤️
Oh I agree. People think I'm crazy hating the hot summer months and loving the winter. It's cozy, you slow down a little. It's quieter. Love any snow storm. Cook a nice meal or bake. Light candles and grab a blanket. Read with some tea. And a nice cold brisk walk makes you feel fresh and alive. And you get some nice pink cheeks.
I keep my Christmas decor up until the weekend after my birthday - the end of Jan - just as my mom always did. It’s a tradition for me even though she’s been gone 20 years. It brings a sense of love and warmth to my home during the post season quietness.
Hi from the Gold Coast Australia - we are in the middle of Winter now - where I live it is sometimes cold enough for a rug at night but the idea of Wintering is still delightful - thank you
Hey there, sweet friend! 🤗 Your voice is so calming and relaxing, and the quality of the video is so good! Watching it feels like sitting in comfortable silence with a dear friend, where just being together says it all. So cozy and peaceful! Everyone reading this - have a wonderful day! ☕ ❤
So glad that you were able to take a break from “content” creating to enjoy the season. As always, this video is timely and much appreciated-all the best for 2024!
New subscriber from upstate New York and love your channel ❤. Winter, my favorite season here in upstate New York. I love the coziness, warmth, tranquility of it and just relaxing more…cozy candles, books to read, craft projects and lots of coffee☕️☕️
Hello dear Haley 🤗 Watching your channel is like being hugged by a warm cozy blanket. You bring all of us so much joy with every video. I am so happy you took time for yourself and for what you needed. All of us wouldn't have it any other way. Whenever it is best for you, we will be here to support you and of course to enjoy your company and everything you have to offer. I am so thrilled about the natural healthy way you live and I am so open to learning more as you discover more information on medicinal remedies and plants that we can adopt in our everyday life. My sister gifted me a beautiful box of organic teas from the company Pukka. I appreciate their quality and philosophy concerning the planet and their workers. I often mix different teas together also but you have just inspired me to make it a more special time when I am drinking tea alone, by using a tea pot and really savoring the moment. I usually only do that when I have company. I shouldn't be surprised because you are always inspiring to me, even at the age of 61, I still have a lot to learn and you are just the right person I need to keep me on track! Your list of books look not only interesting but educational also. I hope you have pleasant days ahead and I wish you and Alex all the best for today and all the days to come in 2024!!! Take care. 🤗💖🤗💖🤗
Aww Linda, all of your amazing support and kind words mean the world to me-thank you so much for always brightening my days with your comments!! ❤️ I can’t wait to learn more about herbalism and hopefully use my studies to create and share some fun new recipes and healthy living tips with you 😊💕 I absolutely LOVE Pukka teas-that was so thoughtful of your sister to give you such a wonderful gift!! Which flavors are you enjoying the most so far?! I would love to hear your recommendations! I recently tried their Three Mint flavor and it’s sooo delicious 🥰 I hope you have an amazing 2024 and I am so grateful that we connected and became internet friends in 2023 😊 Here’s to another wonderful year!!
Hi Haley. 😀 I hope you are having a good day. Yes the teas are lovely. The box they came in is also very pretty. The one thing I noticed is that there is a common flavor of black licorice throughout most of the teas which is unfortunately not my favorite. I have not been steeping the tea for the recommended time so that way it won't be too strong. I was wondering, do you have a P.O. box? I would be so happy to send you one of each of the teas so that way you could have a chance to sample them also. One flavor of tea that has surprised me is the ones with turmeric. I love using what I call "my Indian spices" in my cooking because they are so flavorful but I never would have thought that I would like it in a tea. Celestial Organics also has nice teas. I signed up for your emails and news letters so if you prefer to send me your info that way, I will get those teas out to you. Happy Sunday sweet Haley🤗
Thank you for making these videos! My birthday is in late January and I always like to keep my Christmas decorations up until then. I have always loved having four unique seasons. I lived in southern California for 6 years and while most people were happy to have perfect weather all the time, I missed the world changing around me with each season. It felt like I was stuck in time. It was a wonderful experience and had it's own unique beauty, but I feel more at home now that I live with the dramatically changing seasons again.
I have been (patiently) waiting for this video to come out since winter started! It's hard to find appreciation for the winter that comes after Christmas. Very inspiring to see the cozy ways that you embrace the season, including slowing down your work to care for your self. Thank you Haley!
Haley, you really captured the feeling- sad to see it go but hopeful for new beginnings! I have many jars of infused vinegar around my kitchen! We eat so much citrus in the winter, so I use that- in the summer i use all the things from my garden, sage, mint, lavendar and it makes cleaning a little more joyful. We celebrate Jolabokaflod too, we are big readers and just love the gift of books, especially second hand.
I just found your channel and I am so intrigued. I'm going to go back and do some binge watching:) I guess I'm different from a lot of people but I really love the winter. I live in the deep south so winter isn't very long and we basically have few days of really cold weather. This week is to be unusually cold for us. Anyway...I love the coziness of winter. It feels like I'm snuggling in for awhile with my warm blankets, cups of coffee or hot chocolate, a fire in the fireplace, good books to read with candles glowing, and fuzzy socks to wear around the house. I love sweaters and boots to wrap up in when going out. I am going to check out a couple of the books you mentioned. I recently finished THE PRAYER BOX and THE KEEPER OF LOST THINGS. Loved both of them so much. Happy New Year....continue to take time for yourself.
Your video helped me to remember somethings I had honestly forgotten I had. At 65 and pretty much house bound I have alot of time on my hands. My garden is pretty dead for the year, but I could go out on warmer days and do a few clean ups. I also own alot of stones and herbal oils, since I have a bit of a cold I had forgotten that Eucalyptus oil will help unclog a stuffy nose. Things like this are forgotten as we get older, thank you for reminding me to fall back on my herbal oils for comfort. Keep up these wonderful videos, I find them very relaxing and they help me remember things I had, thanks to age, forgotten.
That cermaic pot is beautiful. I feel like fall and winter are my prime tea months. I feel like January and February have felt like a new beginning, but I think for me I finally had the courage to quit a job which has given me the freedom to really find myself again in the new year and try to make dreams come true I've always wanted. I am almost done with Tom Lake by: Ann Patchett, love it
I'm so happy you love the teapot, too! 😊💕 And congratulations on finding the courage to quit your job--I'm rooting for you and wishing you lots of luck to make your dreams come true in the new year!! ❤️ And thank you so much for the book recommendation, I'm so excited to check it out 📚
A few books I treated myself to this year are The Lost Ways, The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies, The Encyclopedia of Country Living among a couple. The winter is a time to allow our circadian rhythm to reset. ❤
Always so beautiful and inspiring. We have snow in So. Utah and its lovely outside. I am reading a series from when I was about 11 or 12 years old. I had the series, but passed them along to my Grandaughter years ago. My husband saw the entire set at the thrift store and got them for me. The Trixie Belden series. I am so pleased to have these to enjoy again. I will make note of the books you received to see about getting some of them. Happy Reading and Happy New Year.
Thank you so much, Jan!! ❤️ And I'm so happy that you're revisiting a series you loved as a child--I don't think I've heard of Trixie Belden before but I will have to check out the series!! 😊 I hope you have a wonderful week, and enjoy the snow! ❄️
Ironically, the older I get the more I appreciate the winter months. I don’t even mind the extra cold days (where I live in 🇨🇦 we sometimes get cold snaps with -30C windchills) but those days are often the sunniest with cheery blue skies. And shoveling snow is good exercise! I only get tired of snow if it’s still hanging around in April. I keep my winter tires on till end of April as we’ve had snow then too.
Im not crazy about January and February. Winter used to be my favorite time of year, but as I have grown older and more brittle, they have become quite boring. But to me spring is unbearable. March and April are just black holes of despair. I start dreading them just after christmas. Seasonal affliction disorder really is a thing, and it can hit in seasons people often think are the happiest. Anyways, this video is beautiful!
I have SAD too, and light helps alot. I put the gold xmas lights around my apt doors and windows, every day of the year. It helps immensely, but it has to be the kind of lights that give off a warm glow. ❤💗💛🧡
Am glad you’re finding ways to brighten your winter months love; Grandma’s teacups are also to die for! I am an avid tea aficinada et also a teaware collector so I love seeing such a lovely floral tea set et porcelain kettle… Happy wintering love et thanks for sharing with us! 💕💕💗💗💗🌸
Haley, you are just a sweet and gentle soul, and your voice is so calming. I adore your videos and you're inspiring which gets me thinking and planning my calming days. I'd love to know where you get your tea blends and the little tea "insert" for your tea pot. I have always loved the moon and stars and I'd love to know where I can find the insert. Thank you, and have an amazing day 😁❤️✨🌙
I'm so glad to see you back and I hope you had a lovely Christmas break! I agree that it's so important to listen to the rhythm of nature and live according to the seasons. My favorite thing about this time of year is sitting by my living room window with a cup of tea and watching the cardinals and chickadees come to the bird feeder. I adore chickadees! The teas blend you made sounds very good. I'm hoping to plant a medicinal/herbal tea garden this year. My advice is to not let the lack of owning a home or having room for an outdoor garden stop you. There are so many herbs that do well in pots that you can put on a porch or windowsill. I'm jealous of all the books you got, they all look so good! I got a wonderful surprise of a book by Jane Austen I had never heard of called Lady Susan. It was published posthumously and is written as a series of letters between different characters. Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you will share with us this year and although I will be sad not to have a weekly video I know it is so important to listen to your own needs and set boundaries for your health and well being. Sending you hugs!
Watching the birds from your living room window sounds so peaceful and wonderful, I can't wait until we have a yard someday to put up a bird feeder!! ❤️ I loveee chickadees too, they are so happy and cute! And I am so excited for you to plant your herbal tea garden, I bet it's going to be absolutely amazing 😊 And thank you so much for your wonderful advice about the gardening, you've inspired me to look further into creating an indoor windowsill garden! Thank you so much for all of your amazing support ❤️
Thank you for sharing this video! We have a lot of common goals for this year. My biggest goal and also dream is to start the study I have wanted to do for years now. I am a neuropsychologist but have been interested in grief and guiding people through difficult life experiences for years and in September I’m finally starting a 4 year study to become a grief therapist and counselor. It will be challenging next to a fulltime job but I feel so thankful for this opportunity! I loved Katherine May’s book ‘Wintering’. I am currently reading her new book ‘Enchantment’ which I highly recommend too! Have a lovely week ❤️
Congratulations on pursuing your dream of becoming a grief therapist and counselor--I am so happy for you and wishing you the best of luck with your new journey, my friend!! ❤️ Now I'm even more excited to read Wintering, and I will have to check out Enchantment, too 😊
How nice to make your acquaintance. I am so excited to have come across your video and the comments from your followers were also a joy to read. I must say you have really inspired me to continue on my journey. I am so into everything you were talking about and I have been digging deep into my creative side and found so many things that bring happiness into my very boring life. My life became very boring when I entered the empty nester years and had just spiraled out of control. Not to worry my friend I will not be defeated. Looking forward to more inspiration and those exciting books you listed! Thank you for taking care to enjoy your life as well. ❤
Aww it is so lovely to meet you, Stacy!! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video, and that it inspired you to take time for yourself and your happiness and creativity ❤️ I'm rooting for you in this next phase of your journey! 🤗
Haley Darling, so nice to "chat" with you on this cozy Saturday morning while sipping coffee ☕️ ❤ you and I are on parallel learning paths! I too, have been studying Tea Gardens and beginning apothecary the last few years, dreaming and waiting for the space to finally start growing. (Containers only yield so much but I am truly grateful for every baby that thrives!) When spring comes and the forests are alive again, I want to practice wild foraging to help with native plant identification 🌿 and maybe some secret guerilla gardening as well 🤭 who doesn't want more flowers on their forest walks?
Ahhh it makes me so happy to hear that you're studying herbalism, gardening, and foraging too--and I absolutely love your idea of guerrilla gardening in the forest!! 🌷Sending you lots of love and good luck for 2024--I'm so excited for us to learn more about herbalism and plants together this year!! 🌿🤗❤️
Thank you so much!!! I find your videos so comforting cozy and informative! ❤ Just your presence and the way you interact with the camera. Is such a joy to see. I feel like I have a friend here with me ! I love all the tips that you gave in this video . ❤ I pray that you have a restful, cozy, and very nourishing wintertime !! 😊

A beautiful book haul! So many of my favorites, I love Katie Daisy and Rosemary Gladstar is amazing.Enjoyed reading Wintering. I have a list of books, many of them Alice Hoffman and on my shelf already! Currently listening on my down time to Louise Penny's Detective Gamache series. Rest Well!
I like Winter it’s cozy and warm. Baking season and I have Winter decor up till the end of February and then Spring flowers 🌷 come out till Fall. I just came across your Channel and I subscribed straight away. Nice to meet you on here. Your home looks lovely 😻
Just discovered your channel what a lovely and calm video. This past spring I was able to gather lilacs and try the process you mentioned with oil, and I was amazed at how well it worked. Lilac is one of my favorite scents, and so difficult to find in a natural form.
Thank you! For sharing a calm and peaceful video ☕️🍰l had the privilege to leave close to the mountains so often l go for a walk to Enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains rivers in waterfalls , during this busy life.🏔️🌲🌤️☕️❤️
Loving the idea of the book flood gifting tradition, we will incorporate this in our holidays in the future! Wonderful video and books, thank you for sharing!
I graduated from Rosemary Gladstar’s Sage Mountain Herbal program back in 2017 and it changed my life! It is an incredible self directed program you can do from home and you get the most beautiful certificate after graduating. If you want to go deeper into your herbal studies I highly recommend it but it’s also perfect for beginners too. 🥰🌿❤️✨
I have been trying to decide whether or not I want to pursue a more formal herbal education program, and after reading your comment, I am now SO inspired and excited to look into Rosemary Gladstar's program!! Thank you so much for the recommendation ❤️
So lovely to find your new video this morning!! The thoughts, visuals, and ideas are always so insightful and inspiring. We truly need to normalize and prioritize rest, self care, and stepping back. Thank you for the wonderful little jewels you always share. Happy New Year 🎉
Your videos are always lovely, and natural. ❤ Just do what you enjoy and at a time you are feeling creative. No use forcing things or it may become a toil instead of a pleasure for you.
Thank you Haley. New fan here. Loved your vlog and book haul, which included The Fourth Wing. I got The Fire and the Light by Glenn Craney, and I highly recommend it. Happy New Year! :)
This was beautiful and full of hints for slowing down this winter season. I loved your book recommendations. The Healing Garden is a favourite of mine and the author is an herbal genius ! I also thank you for the tea recipe you're enjoying and seeing your new year journal. Many blessings to you and Alex this season 💜
Thank you so much for your kind words, Marilyn--I'm so happy you enjoyed the video and book recommendations! ❤️ And I'm so happy that you love The Healing Garden, too--it's just full of great information and gorgeous photos and recipes! Have a wonderful New Year, my friend 🥰
Thank you always for your videos!! I need it specially coming from these days. You deserve a break to continue making your wonderful and inspiring videos. Take a break whenever you need, I will be happy when your videos come. For a relaxing and cozy 2024! 😊
Thank you so much for saying that, my friend--all of your support truly means so much to me 🥰 I can't wait to keep sharing videos with you! Wishing you a wonderful 2024 ❤️
I feel the same about winter outdoors. Did you get any flooding near you or was it just by me? I like what you wrote in your journal. It is very nice. Spending more time outside was on my list I made too. I am finishing reading Snow & Rose that you had previously read! I'm glad you enjoyed gifting books while having hot cocoa. I am a year long cocoa drinker (I don't like coffee or tea) and I finished 119 books in 2023! Yey! I hope you are able to get your house with a garden one day. I long for that too. I had a garden in my parents' backyard for several years but it is gone now Years ago I read the Little Book of Hygge that you are reading. It is a fast read for sure. .I recommend the other ones Lagom and Little Book of Lykke. Enjoy your self care time!!
Your winter is so different from mine! We have lots of snow and below freezing. Yesterday we had -15°C (that's 5°F). It's the cold and snow that gets to me, and gives me aches and pains. The best thing I do for my self care is to drink hot drinks and read books I enjoy.
❤❤❤🌿💐🥾🎒📚☕like always, thank you so much my friend for your all your videos!!!!! I wish you a happy new year and that you can achieve all your new goals this year!❤❤❤and please never give up! Your videos are like therapy for mothers like me, very busy with long days that we need a little something to help us on difficult or very exhausting days... a space that gives us energy and revitalizes our days! Your videos for me are like medicine!Lol 😂 thank you for YOUR effort in Everything you do in every video Haley. All of your talent is greatly appreciated!🎉🎉you are the best!😊
Thank you SO much for your kind words, my friend 🤗❤️ It means the world to me that my videos have been able to bring some positive energy and calm to your busy days! I can't wait to keep sharing with you in the New Year, and I hope you and your family have an wonderful, happy, and healthy 2024 ❤️✨Sending you the biggest hug!!
Happy New Year, dear Haley! Such a calming video with such lovely tips for a soothing winter time. I so agree with tea and blankets! They are my number one comfort with books, of course. :) Take care
What a lovely and comforting feeling to find a new video from you ! I'm happy that you will be taking necessary steps and time to cultivate your peace and selfcare. As much as I love seeing a new video from my favourite creators, I'm even more happy knowing that it comes from a healthy place for them. So thank you for being transparent with us and for the comfort and love you give us. ❤❤
That truly means the world to me, Manika--thank you so much for saying that ❤️ It has been so difficult for me to take time away from TH-cam and have a more balanced schedule without feeling like I'm letting others down, and your kind words are exactly what I needed to hear today 🥹💕 Thank you again, my friend, and I can't wait to share the next video with you soon!!
Wishing your dream of a garden of your own to come true in 2024! All beings deserve earth and space to grow, harvest and explore. Enjoying your authenticity and permission giving to others to rest and find their rhythm ❤
Love the idea of "wintering" and will have to check out that book! My daughter asked for the same Wheel of the Year book for Christmas that you got, which got me excited about the concept. I ended up getting myself The Magical Year by Danu Forest to learn more about it, and also got The Great Work: Self Knowlege and Healing Through the Wheel of the Year as my Christmas gift--which has been so interesting to work through so far!
Hie from France ! Love your video, just cosy ans amazing, that's all I like : nature, slow life and books ! The Wheal of nature seems so beautifil, hope I'll find it in french. Happy new year too !
Thank you for another lovely video ✨ Sounds like a very wise decision to scale back on work and make more time for rest. I love your bullet journal, would love to see more about it 😊
I'm loving the sight of your kitchen and windows etc. I use to love to have drying herbs in the kitchen and such but then I heard it was bad fenshwey and you don't want anything decaying in your house? I'd love your thoughts on this. That said I simply love the look of winter serenity of your home.
❤ let’s make the algorithm love Haley 😅 just keep her videos playing in the background all day and occasionally comment so the AI ranks her videos higher
Happy New Year, Haley!!! So happy to hear you're prioritizing YOU!! We all support you and will be here anytime you want to post a video! I can't begin to tell you how helpful your bucket lists have been. I've started this practice after watching your fall bucket list and it's helped me be so present. Wishing everyone the best year and cheers to new beginnings. 🎉
Happy New Year, Laurie!! ❤️ Thank you so, so much for all of your support and kind words. It means the world to me that the bucket lists have helped make your seasons more special and meaningful--they have helped me so much, too!! 😊 Sending you the biggest virtual hug 🤗
I just stumbled upon your channel and you seem like a truly good and lovely person! Watching you and listening to your commentary makes me feel calm and gives me a feeling of joy. I wish you the best with the success of your channel! I think that you will like the book by Katherine May. I read it a couple of months ago and it really resonated with me like no other book. So much so, I got her other books as well and even the Audible versions. She is a very talented writer with keen observations about her own feelings that we all experience at one time or another. I will look forward to exploring your past videos! Happy New Year! ☺
Thank you so much for kind words, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed the video!! ❤️ And now I am even more excited to read the rest of Katherine May's book, and to learn more about her other books, as well! Happy New Year, friend 🥰

Hello. This video came up in my feed and I’m so glad! I really enjoy your calming and relaxing voice. New subbie and I look forward to watching more of your videos. I just love your cottage. The tea you made using rose, chamomile and lavender sounds so good. I’m new to making teas like that. Can you share where you get those items and the teapot you used to steep it in and or the little silver thing you put in there. Thanks for sharing! Sending hugs!
I have always suffered seasonal depression and January and February are my hardest months even though my birthday is in February. I just crave the hot, warm, bright sun on my face and body penetrating to my soul to awaken me.
thank you for this video ❤ prioritising our wellbeing is so important and I’m glad you are doing it 🥰 I like the idea of two videos at month, btw, you’ve made the right call ☺️ see you soon 🎉
happy new year haley❣🎉 i discovered your channel in november and since then i watched all of your videos, i absolutely loved the automnal ones 🍁 thank you for being you!! lots of love from france ❤
Happy New Year, dear!! ❤️ Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰 I am so happy you're enjoying the videos--I can't wait to keep sharing more with you! Sending you a big virtual hug 🤗
What I wouldn’t give for a snip if that hollyberry! I like to decorate with decor/nature from my backyard, but we moved to a new house with nothing available to cut. Also, there isn’t much to choose from in Oklahoma this time of year. Thinking of buying flowers every other week instead.
You remind me of me right down to your grandmother's tea pot and yes, the majority of my decorations are still up and no hurry to take them down. Brand new here and glad.
Aww I am so thrilled that you enjoyed the video and the book recommendations--enjoy your new books, and I can't wait to keep sharing with you, my friend! ❤️
Lavender and Chamomile tea also good for when you are sick and have phlegm stuck in your chest. We have used them for years when we are sick mixed with some honey and lemon.
Beautiful video as always with such wonderful ideas and I LOVE your book recommendations! Already ordered The Healing Garden and Homemade Perfume! Thank you for being an inspiration in so many ways! Happy Healthy New Year xoxoxo
Aww thank you SO much--I can't tell you how excited I am that you were inspired to read The Healing Garden and Homemade Perfume after seeing this video!! ❤️ Please let me know how you like them, I can't wait to read them together! 🥰 Wishing you a happy, healthy, wonderful New Year 🤗
I am about half way through “Fourth Wing” and it will likely become the favorite book I’ve read. I’ve had to force myself to limit my reading time a bit or I’d have finished it in a single marathon reading.
🌟Your videos are wonderful, I'm Italian and I have a very small channel inspired by these types of videos, probably in Italy they are not much appreciated but when I watch them I feel like I dream and it's the same thing I try to do in mine. I wish you a happy year dear.💓
Thank you so much for your kind words, my friend ❤️ I can't wait to check out your videos, they sound so dreamy and beautiful!! I love that we both create videos that bring peace to others 🥰 Happy New Year!!
Your videos always have everything that I love, books, herbs and nature, candles and such a great feeling of hygge! I did want to ask, where do you purchase your herbs from? Thank you for sharing such lovely heartwarming content, my two year old son and I love it!
Aww your comment made my day--thank you so much for saying that!! 🥰 I am so happy you and your son are enjoying the videos! And I get almost all of my herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs--the quality of their products is excellent 😊
Love this, thank you for sharing it.❤
That’s what I’ve always done too since my adult kids and grandkids grew up.
Love that idea
That's a lovely idea. I keep up my snowmen and red or white lights- things that say winter. I'm glad to know other people are on the same page 🥰
Brilliant ❤
We sound like kindred spirits, exactly how I feel about winter❄️❄️
Most definitely! There is something SO magical about winter, you just have to find it ❤
Me too!
A very warm and cozy video. Thank you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Aww your comment made my day--thank you SO much for your kind words about the video ❤️ Have a wonderful rest of your day, angel! 💕
thank you 🤗@@MyMoonstoneKitchen
What a lovely video.
As my Yoga teacher says we are wintering and should rest and take of oursleves more.
I find working with wool helps me feel better during the winter. So knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, and felting.
I am a beginner knitter but absolutely love it so far, it's such a fun and cozy hobby for the winter!
@@MyMoonstoneKitchen I'm so glad you are enjoying it!
So glad that you were able to take a break from “content” creating to enjoy the season. As always, this video is timely and much appreciated-all the best for 2024!
Thank you so much 🥰 It was so good to take a little break, and I'm so happy to be back!! Wishing you a wonderful 2024 ❤️
New subscriber from upstate New York and love your channel ❤. Winter, my favorite season here in upstate New York. I love the coziness, warmth, tranquility of it and just relaxing more…cozy candles, books to read, craft projects and lots of coffee☕️☕️
I’m so happy to have found your channel! Just what I needed to learn new insights for a new year and new chapter. Best in 2024!
Hello dear Haley 🤗
Watching your channel is like being hugged by a warm cozy blanket.
Aww I'm so happy you found the video inspiring--thank you so much for saying that 🥰 I hope you have a wonderful, cozy winter season, my friend!! ❤️
Gorgeous, thank you Haley, it's been a lovely winter here in the Outer Hebrides; appreciating the frost, the rain, the snow, all of it
Your video helped me to remember somethings I had honestly forgotten I had.
❤️ And thank you so much for the book recommendation, I'm so excited to check it out 📚
When I see a new video from you, I’m at the point in my life when I just HAVE to watch it❤❤❤
You just made my day--thank you SO much 🥰
@@MyMoonstoneKitchenI feel the same way when I see a notification from YOU🥰
A few books I treated myself to this year are The Lost Ways, The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies, The Encyclopedia of Country Living among a couple.
I loved Trixie Belden when I was younger too. Would be fun to read them again..
Aww thank you so much!! ❤️ I am so happy you appreciate the teacups as much as I do!
@@MyMoonstoneKitchen thank you my love! 💕💗💗🙏🏽🙏🏽🌸
So happy to stumble upon your channel, I loved the simplicity, the calmness and your energy 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words, and welcome!! ❤️❤️ can’t wait to keep sharing with you 😊
This video has the soothing, calming vibes I was craving. ❤
I am so happy to hear that--thank you so much for being here ❤️✨
Thank you for sharing this video!
Haley this is off topic but if you do a fall/winter self care video can you show us your hair care routine products ? You have such stunning hair !
I love the winter. I wish it would last longer.
I’ve not received a book this year but you just gave mea listens of goodies that I’m excited to go get. Thank you so much☺️❤️

Just discovered your channel what a lovely and calm video. This past spring I was able to gather lilacs and try the process you mentioned with oil, and I was amazed at how well it worked. Lilac is one of my favorite scents, and so difficult to find in a natural form.
Thank you! For sharing a calm and peaceful video ☕️🍰l had the privilege to leave close to the mountains so often l go for a walk to Enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains rivers in waterfalls , during this busy life.🏔️🌲🌤️☕️❤️
I have all of Rosemary's books...they are all wonderful!!! You do have a great new book collection. Enjoy Winter...you have much to read. ❤
Is that a long-distance learning programme? I'm really interested, if so!

I had a garden in my parents' backyard for several years but it is gone now
Years ago I read the Little Book of Hygge that you are reading.

Love the idea of "wintering" and will have to check out that book! My daughter asked for the same Wheel of the Year book for Christmas that you got, which got me excited about the concept. What I wouldn’t give for a snip if that hollyberry! I like to decorate with decor/nature from my backyard, but we moved to a new house with nothing available to cut. Also, there isn’t much to choose from in Oklahoma this time of year. Thinking of buying flowers every other week instead.
First comment ❤❤ Lots of love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩....
Thank you so much for being here, friend!! ❤️
You remind me of me right down to your grandmother's tea pot and yes, the majority of my decorations are still up and no hurry to take them down. Brand new here and glad.
Thank you so much for subscribing, and welcome!! 😊
Just saw you for the first time. I loved watching and I have just ordered some of the books you shared. I am excited to follow you. Thank you 📚 ♥️ 🪴

🥰 Wishing you a happy, healthy, wonderful New Year 🤗
So much beautiful and relaxing vloging 😊
I am about half way through “Fourth Wing” and it will likely become the favorite book I’ve read. I’ve had to force myself to limit my reading time a bit or I’d have finished it in a single marathon reading.
This makes me even more excited to read it!! 😊
Such a cozy video ❤
First time watching your channel! So warm and heartfelt. New subscriber and I will share with my family!
Aww thank you so much, Kristy--and welcome!! ❤️ I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying the videos. Can't wait to keep sharing with you! 😊
@@MyMoonstoneKitchen 🌟 How happy I am that you answered me, thank you very much 💓.
Winter is my time to hunker down (and except when I have to work). I putter and organize closets and drawers. And rest. In pjs early.
That sounds absolutely amazing!! There's nothing better than getting cozy in pjs early on a cold night 😊
Just came across your channel. I love how much calmness it brings me, we have same interests ❤ Love your content
Aww your comment made me so happy--I am so happy you're enjoying the videos!! ❤️ Can't wait to share more with you, lovely!
