I wanted to buy the Leopard 2(pzbtl 123) because I'm too bored of grinding mid tier germany, having finished the entire soviet ground tree i have experience with top tier but gajin just had to screw me over.
They typically wait at least two major updates after releasing a new pack before allowing that pack to go on sale. I'm frustrated too because I was intending on purchasing the F-4S Phantom II Pack, but I'll just have to wait until the next big update or so for it to go on sale.

As someone that has nearly 2K hours on this game, i can really recommend the French Somua. What can i say, 4 seconds of reload, great 7.7 line up and the armor is not that bad. You may struggle in up tiers but other than that, an absolute beast of a tank
In my personal opinion The Somua is by far one of the best Premium tanks at 7.7 line up. I couldn’t agree more with this comment since I feel like not a lot of people know the true potential the Somua has got it’s BR
Somua is truly a beast of a tank. Then once you get your tech tree up to 7.7, You get the big brother in the Surbaisse. Along with another 3 tanks with 4 second autoloaders as well.
The 7.7 french line up is great rn. All autoloaders now reload in 4sec (except the 13-90 and 50 suby), with f84g, a decent strike jet or you can take the f4u7 (beware of 8.3 spaas, they will shred you).
only issue is that, that 7.7 lineup currently runs into mauses that u cant pen at range/an angle, AND runs into br 8.7 full uptiers where their pen + lack of laser rangefinders and lack of apfsds, really hurts them(most 7.7´s has that issue mind you) but the french with ONLY athe autoloader as their advantage, kinda dosnt do that well vs highly armored 7.3-8.3 tanks, and 8.3-8.7 tanks with stabs and the rest i mentioned. In downtiers they are awsome dont get me wrong, but 7.7 gets uptiered into the 8.7black hole a LOT atm.
it not only nukes the high tier premium BR range with it's spam cannon, it also sometimes for no fucking reason just doesnt want to die. i hate this ass tank so much.
My absolute favourite is the TAM 2IP. I love that tank. I would highly recommend it for anyone who has played higher tier and has some experience in the game and who iss looking to grind the german tree. It quite mobile, it has 105 DM33, an excellent round for its 9.0 br. Sadly it doesnt have thermal, but for someone who has played this game a bit, it won't be a too big problem. Ofc it has laser rangefinder, great reverse speed, -7 degrees of gun depression, suprisingly effective armour aganist some autocannons and HEATFS shells, but since it has its engine in the front, people usually just shoot the engine so you can fire back at them. I really really love that tank!!
The Su-25 is actually an formidable fighter According to my service record i almost got a 2 K/D out of it. Just equip 2 gunpods and the R60s and this thing becomes a beast against other planes. Not so much now due to the higher BR and that you mostly fight US-teams full of OP F5s but it can still hold its own if played right.

It's got to be either the Somua SM, or the Turm III. Both vehicles are an absolute menace on the battlefield. If you want a French premium that isn't as high br as the AMX-30 Super then the Somua is definitely the pick.
As someone who played the french tree a lot if you have the money and courage to join us in the dark side where you'll receive gaijin hatred on full power, i would recommend for your grind : - M4A1 FL10 = 180 mm of pen at 5.0 on a 5s reload, you go through absolutely EVERYTHING frontally (not jumbo) even at full uptier, is-1 & tigers = cheese for you (i still use it in my 6.0 line up so it works until 6.7-7.0). - Somua SM = good armor for a french tank, 4s reload on a 100m at 7.7, french use solid shot so you will rarely one tap enemies but who cares, you'll have the time to reload 2 times (3 shot in total) while in front of you the guy will have fired once only, also auto reload = even if your loader die or fire need to be put out you'll reload faster, it's nice & easy, even beginner will have a good time since mistake are not that impactful. Little tips, french tanks don't play the same as the other nation, you'll need to flank a lot (dw all your tanks have nitro :) ebr at 5.3 goes 105 KM/H) and have a good aim since solid shoot (aim for crew, gunner / loader etc) and lots of sniping (no stab until very late in the T.T but you have almost always the better optics) And if you want a bit of a more traditionnal War T tanking experience, the PANTHER DAUPHINE a french panther as simple as that. Also unlike Justin i wouldn't recommend the AMX-30 Super, sadly it's just not worth it, at the same BR in the T.T you have both AMX-32 105 & 120 with the famous 20 mm coaxial & 2 plane stab, it's just much better tanks especially the 120mm and the 9.3 lineup is horrible and not worth your time to invest in (you have 3 tanks & 1 spaa no mephisto since 9.3-10.3 you'll meet ERA every match) to grind to top tier, just play the AMX-10 RC and flank / snipe, good optics with good mobility & good ammo just no stab but you don't need it for sniping and you have pneumatic suspension (low rider style) so hiding behind hills is very comfortable.
Also the lineup you'll have the most fun are = 5.3 m4a1 fl10 & sa-50, ebr 1951, arl-44 and amx-10 (good spa), (6.0 only a good lineup if you have the panther, you have panther, elc, ca lorraine, m36b2) 7.7 somua sm, lorraine 40t, chat 25t, amx-13-90, amx-50 foch 8.3 amx-10 rc, amx-30 1972, 30-acra, 30-dca & mars-15 for rat lovers 11.7 when you finally have the leclerc

Honestly I 100% agree Prem time over everything! - Its the best grinder for SL no matter the skill level with a 50% boost across the board -It increases modification research rate for all tanks and aircraft aswell as navel if your into that - no matter how bad a game you have you have Net 0 income (meaning you can never lose SL for playing the game) And lastly it doesnt lock you into any tech tree to play and you can play what ever the hell you want to! Side note Justin T-55-AM1 is probably my #1 pick for a prem too! Not an overpowered tank but just a great jack of all trades that avoides the hell pits that is known as 10.0
6k hours in the last 2 years of play so take what i say with a grain of salt but my best thing for grinding was using the free lower tiered reward from doing the free parts of the battle pass and using those premiums to grind up to a decent rank until the reward doesnt benefit, and in doing that youll get access to warbond dollars to get your choice on another premium from the warbond shop. ive gotten most of my premiums that way and although not all of my SL comes from them since i play alot of other vehicles i am constantly in the positive for SL and was at 15 mil before the 50% sale and i bought things that were expensive and i waited to get during a sale. this has been a good early grind to get into the mid tier vehicles since late game high tier is already a grind as is
The tiger 2 h sal is also a really good pick for Germany. I still play it even tho I have top teir in 4ish nations including Germany. Grate way to relax and earn more money.
I would recommend the ZTZ96a (P) to anybody looking to grind out the chinese. It has a similar playstyle to the T-72, but imo the armour is better because it can bounce DM33 120 much more effectively than the TURMS (excluding its LFP). I picked it up a few months ago and obtained a comfortable 1.5 K/D after 500 matches, while also having nearly 70% of the chinese ground tree completed.
It walked straight into the warm, loving embrace of the AMX-40 for a 9.7 lineup. I still think it should be 9.3, but its really not suffering at 9.7 either.

I will give some explanation from my experience i started freshly with starter pack US tech tree after reaching 8.0 i decided to jump into grinding ussr tech tree bought t-55am-1,turms,su-25k was my best decision in the meantime i gained enough experience of understanding of armour penetration,shell types etc. if you are new please don't rush thing forwards it's not gonna help anyone you just gonna be driving meat thats all i can say don't worry in the meantime you will get enough gaijin sales believe me speaking from experience.
Yes. It is basically a Chinese TURMS with a better turret traverse and it's more or less your best bet for grinding the Chinese ground tree unless you want the WMA301 instead.
I would not recommend a AMX-30 to new not even to older players, it must really fit you play stile in order to work also, if you get shot anywhere you are dead, turret even if the shell bounce will detonate ammo and hull is easy 1 shot kill by any APFSDS or even sabot
What can I say ? The T-55AM-1 is my first and only high(er) tier premium and it eased my into the MBT era quite nicely. Cherry on the cake : there's an exteeeeeensive choice of 8.7 in the USSR tree to complement it. You can talisman some of the others to make the ultimate top tier grinding line-up ever given to mankind. The AMD-1 is a copycat that I love for its ATGM/heli trolling capabilities thanks to the APS (you trade the composite turret add-on for it) Obj 435 and T-62 : the gun is disgusting and its stock shell is its best shell sooo... No laser rangefinder but who needs to laze when the shell flies flat over a country mile ? Don't let the flat pen fool you. The stock shell is better. Period. (angled pen and spalling) IT-1 and Shturm (the weird estranged brother...) if ATGMs are your thing. I mean I heard they can be really good but I just can't... ATGMs are not my thing. IT-1 can launch while on the move and has stabilized aim I guess... And armor ! Obj 685... I was disappointed at first coming from the 906... But then I unlocked the APFSDS *and* laser rangefinder as fast as possible and it absolutely made the tank. Fast enough, low profile enough, the reload is a letdown compared to the obscene 906 but in the end is way fast enough when your shell can one-tap mostly anything way beyond a kilometer. Also gets the annoying scout UAV. So yeah : T-55AM-1, no-brainer for high tier USSR grind.
Greetings from Russia! I'm glad that you recommend not to buy top tier tanks for beginners, although it would be beneficial for you to do it with a referral system. And I completely agree that the T-55AM-1 is very good - it was my first premium package tank, because I was tired of playing on the default USSR 7.0 tanks. T-55AM-1 fully justifies its cost (excellent shells and armor).
I was surprised to see many packs still at regular price but I also find this to be a blessing in disguise and don't be offended, this sucks for those of you who can play these vehicles but the majority who buy then are absolute trash so if it make even a small difference that's alright with me. Also, the gane will have sales again during Christmas so don't lose hope.
Honestly, people may have been bummed out that TURMS is not on sale but you should not buy it anyways. Why? 1. The teams: TURMS is the everyone's go to while grinding Russia and the problem with that is there are a lot of inexperienced players at 10.0 in possession of a near top tier vehicle. Not only that, most of them quit after dying once. 2S38 suffers from the same deal. I feel sorry for tech tree 10.3 Tanks like 80B and 73B3 2. T55 AM1 exists. At 8.7 Russian teams are extremely resilient because they have such a massive lineup. Around 8.0-9.7 actually. If you ever played around those BR's you'll realise that games do last long and it is really hard to defeat Russians. They are really prone to making comebacks at that BR. Justin already made vehicle's introduction so I'm not going to but please consider T55AM1. Edit: 2S38 going on sale showcased how terrible 10.0 can be for Russians. I wanted to give it a go at its own BR and see how it does but I forgot about the sales and won like only 2 games out of 10. I personally uptier 2S28 from 10.0 to 11.3 simply because of the teams. I have so much more fun.
Better purchase than the kvt imo. Its armour isn’t great so you should think of it as an light tank in an mbts body. Still have it in my 10.0+ line up and it still works

The J35XS is your best choice for grinding to top tier in Sweden however the draken flight model got nerfed a while back and the XS version only has 12 large flares and at that BR you will get missiles flung at you constantly.
My favorite wheel tank in the game. It has the best Optics and thermals of all the wheel tanks in the game. If you play light tanks well you will great in it
You get 3rd gen thermals for both the gunner and a commander, a .50 cal, and wheeled vehicle mobility. The only (perhaps subjective) issue with the Type 16 FPS now would be the fact that Gaijin incorrectly nerfed M735 which is its top round, and it does not get the better Type 93 APFSDS round unlike its regular tech tree counterpart.
Nah Israeli merkava is the best premium tank in this game , I've got nuke 4 times already after playing 1500 hours of game play , Israel was the best tech tree , say all you want about being incomplete, yes but the merkava is the best tank

To me the best thing about the CV90105 isn't the mobility or reload rate, it's those crystal clear gen 3 thermals.

Id personally suggest the leo 2 (Pzbtl) its just a leo 2 but done up. This is more of a veteran pick as it is just a reskin of a wonderful vehicle.

Last time they used to have discounts for every pack, even those cheaper ww2 vehicles, which are very strong, now they are never discounted.

I will give some explanation from my experience i started freshly with starter pack US tech tree after reaching 8.0 i decided to jump into grinding ussr tech tree bought t-55am-1,turms,su-25k was my best decision in the meantime i gained enough experience of understanding of armour penetration,shell types etc. if you are new please don't rush thing forwards it's not gonna help anyone you just gonna be driving meat thats all i can say don't worry in the meantime you will get enough gaijin sales believe me speaking from experience.

Yes. It is basically a Chinese TURMS with a better turret traverse and it's more or less your best bet for grinding the Chinese ground tree unless you want the WMA301 instead.

I would not recommend a AMX-30 to new not even to older players, it must really fit you play stile in order to work also, if you get shot anywhere you are dead, turret even if the shell bounce will detonate ammo and hull is easy 1 shot kill by any APFSDS or even sabot

What can I say ? The T-55AM-1 is my first and only high(er) tier premium and it eased my into the MBT era quite nicely. Cherry on the cake : there's an exteeeeeensive choice of 8.7 in the USSR tree to complement it. You can talisman some of the others to make the ultimate top tier grinding line-up ever given to mankind.
The AMD-1 is a copycat that I love for its ATGM/heli trolling capabilities thanks to the APS (you trade the composite turret add-on for it)
Obj 435 and T-62 : the gun is disgusting and its stock shell is its best shell sooo... No laser rangefinder but who needs to laze when the shell flies flat over a country mile ? Don't let the flat pen fool you. The stock shell is better. Period. (angled pen and spalling)
IT-1 and Shturm (the weird estranged brother...) if ATGMs are your thing. I mean I heard they can be really good but I just can't... ATGMs are not my thing. IT-1 can launch while on the move and has stabilized aim I guess... And armor !
Obj 685... I was disappointed at first coming from the 906... But then I unlocked the APFSDS *and* laser rangefinder as fast as possible and it absolutely made the tank. Fast enough, low profile enough, the reload is a letdown compared to the obscene 906 but in the end is way fast enough when your shell can one-tap mostly anything way beyond a kilometer. Also gets the annoying scout UAV.
So yeah : T-55AM-1, no-brainer for high tier USSR grind.
Dont forgett the Leopard 1 L/44. This thing smacks at 9.3.

Greetings from Russia! I'm glad that you recommend not to buy top tier tanks for beginners, although it would be beneficial for you to do it with a referral system. And I completely agree that the T-55AM-1 is very good - it was my first premium package tank, because I was tired of playing on the default USSR 7.0 tanks. T-55AM-1 fully justifies its cost (excellent shells and armor).

I was surprised to see many packs still at regular price but I also find this to be a blessing in disguise and don't be offended, this sucks for those of you who can play these vehicles but the majority who buy then are absolute trash so if it make even a small difference that's alright with me. Also, the gane will have sales again during Christmas so don't lose hope.

Honestly, people may have been bummed out that TURMS is not on sale but you should not buy it anyways. Why?
1. The teams: TURMS is the everyone's go to while grinding Russia and the problem with that is there are a lot of inexperienced players at 10.0 in possession of a near top tier vehicle. Not only that, most of them quit after dying once. 2S38 suffers from the same deal.

2. T55 AM1 exists. At 8.7 Russian teams are extremely resilient because they have such a massive lineup. Around 8.0-9.7 actually.
If you ever played around those BR's you'll realise that games do last long and it is really hard to defeat Russians. They are really prone to making comebacks at that BR.
Justin already made vehicle's introduction so I'm not going to but please consider T55AM1.
Edit: 2S38 going on sale showcased how terrible 10.0 can be for Russians.
I wanted to give it a go at its own BR and see how it does but I forgot about the sales and won like only 2 games out of 10. I personally uptier 2S28 from 10.0 to 11.3 simply because of the teams. I have so much more fun.
I still dont think the Super or L44 deserves 9.3

Better purchase than the kvt imo. Its armour isn’t great so you should think of it as an light tank in an mbts body. Still have it in my 10.0+ line up and it still works
He has a nerve shell, now he has a penetration of about 290mm at 0 meters, he has very random damage, absolutely no armor, but there is a good speed (but there are a lot of wheelers on this rating), so it's probably better to take Abrams (if there is a discount on him, like he came out 2 updates ago, after la Royale there were the Sons of Attila and the Kings of Battle)

The J35XS is your best choice for grinding to top tier in Sweden however the draken flight model got nerfed a while back and the XS version only has 12 large flares and at that BR you will get missiles flung at you constantly.
How im supposted to grind German airplanes if there is no high BR planes to buy.

You get 3rd gen thermals for both the gunner and a commander, a .50 cal, and wheeled vehicle mobility. The only (perhaps subjective) issue with the Type 16 FPS now would be the fact that Gaijin incorrectly nerfed M735 which is its top round, and it does not get the better Type 93 APFSDS round unlike its regular tech tree counterpart.
