My neighbor gave me your CD and my infant daughter and I listen to it nearly every morning. It is my dearest wish that she grow up to play an instrument (any instrument!) with the same passion you both demonstrate. Please never stop making music in our city.
Back in the day, I to take day trips from Atlanta to New Orleans often. Seeing Tanya and Dorise performance again and again was always a treat. Several times I would buy a CD of them playing. As best as I can remember, Tanya told me a CD was $7.00. I remember handing her a $20 and told her to keep the change. She said thanks and gave me the biggest smile.
I love that soooo many people stopped to be entertained by these two incredible musicians. I hope that they are both well and managing to stay safe during these challenging times. The world needs love. ❤️
I was just in a post office in another country and a young man's phone played this song as notification so I walked home and immediately pulled up this favorite version of mine. I've heard all of the duet's songs here but this is the happiest and most passionate that I've seen Dorise. This is my personal favorite! Thank you for sharing!
I went to NOLA last week to visit my niece who just started college at Tulane University, and while lost looking for my hotel stumbled upon this young lady playing violin.. She stopped me dead in my tracks, and brought tears to my eyes, and gave me goose bumps she plays like an angel. My niece is a freshman, I RAELLY hope I get an opertunily to see her play again.. Blessings to You ~
This seems to me to be one of their best performances. Maybe the combination of the key they play in, the nature of the song, I don't know. But everything just fits.
i have never seen for around 50 years or so a great street musician play songs with virtuoso manuevers like tanya and dorise! great pair though, one of the best musicians i have seen in tube for all these years... one to be reckon with, and tell u what, GREATLY AT PAR WITH those got talents and xfactors combined!! the duo to be watched 2016 onwards!! - JJ Kepweng Riyadh/JUN

Oh can't wait. Update. Got to see her in Fl. stunning. Such a big smile. A consummate professional. I ordered a CD

I play guitar, and it mystifies how violinists know where to put their fingers without frets. I guess that is why many novices practice their scales and learn where to press to hit notes and stay in key
