Stan has defeated 3 bald eagles with ease, a horde of zombies with nothing but a bat and brass knuckles, a pterodactyl in hand to hand combat, and an inter dimensional demon with godlike powers using nothing but his wits. Stan is truly built different.
Stan casually accounting for when the gravity spikes happen and then moving around in 0Gs without any prior training is not only badass, but proves he can be as intelligent and capable as his brother if he really applied himself
I think its a Bit Like dipper and mabel, Who both have the Same iq But Mabel is a Bit more Goofy but when she has to, she is really intelligent and yeah Thx for the 113 Likes :)
Hell, the man was a con artist for multiple years and avoided the police for a very long time. Fully faking your own death and doing the shit he did takes definte smarts! As someone put it nicely, wheras Stanely is a genius in street smarts, Stanford is a genius in book smarts. Both can be experts in their own fields!
The way he calls out Bill, it's holding weight. All that backed up emotional damage for the 30 years, the attempts at his family, all the lies he had to make, things he had to do, the things done to him. This wasn't just Stan's redemption, it was his victory over his past.
Can we all just stop a second and talk about how Stan both punches eagles with BOTH HANDS while he climbs scaffolding and catches two 100 LBS twelve-year olds with one arm.
Stan taking on zombies using brass knuckles may still be one of the most badass things I've ever seen. Seriously, the guy was PUNCHING zombies without a hint of hesitation. Badass.
Not ONLY that, but he was presumably swinging the bat with them on as he would've had no time for a weapon swap. Meaning he was swinging and bashing skulls with a bat *without two out of three knuckles.* That's both painful as hell and you have no grip, but he pulled it off
To me, he’s more badass than Don Torletto. At first, you do think like the Pines twins when you first see Stanley Pines. He’s more than just grumpy and a comic relief character but also has a hidden heart of gold especially towards his family and is completely badass like this video. That’s why I think he’s important to the show as well as he’s my favorite character too
When we see Stan’s flashbacks, he is always portrayed as a self centered crook, but he is actually constantly going to great lengths to defend his family.
I love the subversion of the trope at 1:25 - usually, the "monster intercepts and breaks the hero's weapon" is a sign that the baddies are too powerful and the hero will eventually run and/or lose the fight. But Stan just immediately switches to the brass knuckles and keeps fighting
@@iantaggart3064 I know it's been a year, but due to the location and age of the boards, they were likely petrified. Petrified wood is more similar to rock in terms of toughness, making Stan's feat of strength even more impressive, at that age no less.

Stanford survived 30 years traveling alternate dimensions. Stanley survived a summer of kicking monster butt in Gravity Falls with his niece and nephew and (nearly) sacrificed his memory to defeat a demon. Dipper unearthed multiple supernatural mysteries in a spooky Oregon town and (with the help of his family and friends) stopped a demon apocalypse. It's safe to say the Pines men are badasses.
Mabel saved Dipper from falling out a window when he fought with Gideon and she also saved Dipper when they fell off the bridge due to Gideon's robot. Mabel was the key that allowed Ford to return, if she had shut the portal down Ford wouldn't have come back. Mabel helped Mermando get home. Mabel got the unicorn hair to protect the shack. Mabel discovered the gnomes weakness. Mabel has done some pretty bad ass things herself. Remember Mabel didn't know what the rift was and she didn't know Bill was tricking her. She had no way of knowing that what she did would lead to Weirdmageddon. Anyways don't sell Mabel short. She's done some amazing things too.
Dude Stan was a great uncle. He was greedy and selfish a lot but this man risked his life multiple times for his kids. (Just gunna say kids) even his kids pet because he knew it would hurt her. 10/10
Stan's ability to move so effortlessly in 0G shows he has an almost instinctual understanding of the physics behind it, while the agents around him are practically unable to do anything. Couple that with his ability to decipher Ford's writings to operate the portal, Stan is a lot smarter than he seems.
One thing I love about that final scene is how the entire time bill had been all powerful, yet in his last moments he was begging someone he had maybe 2 interactions with throughout the entire show for mercy
Boomur TeNT You know, I get the feeling that Stanley feels that after all the dumb, selfish mistakes he's made over his long life, the only thing that gives it any meaning is his family, so ensuring their well-being is worth any self-sacrifice. Stan is honestly the best character in the show. He's the best developed, most mysterious, most bada**, hilarious, and risked his memory to save his family and universe against a psycho one-eyed triangle demon.

the final scene alone would make me sigh at most, but that sense of having completed your purpose that the song in the background gives is just overwhelming
If there's one thing I learned watching this show, it's that Stan maybe a liar, a cheat, a money grubber and a con man, but the one thing that truly matters to him above all else, is family. And no one can deny that. When push comes to shove, he'll do anything to protect his family.
Yeah returning to this show after almost a decade and seeing that scene over again was an interesting experience. It’s my most defining Stan moment in my mind now (mainly because he’s a badass)
Watching this, I noticed all of his scenes being badass literally involve him protecting or doing something for the sake of his family. Despite seeing himself as a failure and below his brother as well as thinking so little of himself, his greatest moments of success come from him caring for his family over everything to the point he'd do the impossible for them. Cuz like in his own words, "Everything he worked for, everything he ever cared about, it was all for his family". 😭😭😭 Honestly this show just gets better and better the more I watch it. I love you Gravity Falls.
Also by killing the final member of a naturally wiped out species he claimed the rights to say he carried out the genocide of dinosaurs by getting the last one
Can we all appreciate that stan didnt even graduate high school and managed to rebuild an interdimensional portal sure it took him 30 years but he was only working with journal #1 and didnt know about the invisible ink and when he did have all the journals and know of the ink it only took like what a few weeks to rebuild the portal
Actually what said in reverse was: A X O L O T L! My time has come to burn! I invoke the ancient power that I may return! Seriously, he spelled Axolotl whilst speaking in reversed.
@@shadydaemon4178 Well that's what I meant, I know he's saying that whole message in reverse, it just sounds like "Dang it" at the end. Which I find kind of funny
All of this is even more impressive when you remember that he’s their GREAT uncle! The wiki says he’s most likely in his 60’s or older! Most people in their physical prime couldn’t do what he does!
Can we talk about how unbelievably JACKED Stan is, He held up 2 children by a rope with 1 hand! Not to mention he also pulled both of them up afterwards, and didn’t even break a sweat
Is nobody going to talk about 2:27? This man’s perfectly times the gravity anomaly, moves around in 0G like a pro, while also foiling the entire CIA all just to bring his brother back to his dimension
For the context of why he was speaking in backwards: The sing right here on your Time stamp shows Bill siher the evil Dorito dying but saying something in backwards somebody actually reversed it and he actually said” A-X-O-L-O-T-L my time does come to burn I invoke the ancient power that I might return!” What people are saying why did he chance about an axolotl well in the book dipper and Mabel in the time pirates treasure (I think) dipper and Mabel go to space and find a giant axolotl in the sky Dipper ask it a question” what do you know about Bill?” Super sad to the axolotl axolotl replied” 60° that come in threes Watches from within birch trees so his own dimension burn Mrs. home and can’t return says he’s happy he’s a liar blame the arson for the fire if he wants to share the blame he’ll have to unlock my name one way to you about his crime a different form a different time” if you search up” Bill and the axolotl theory” you might see a lot of videos of it I hope this information helps
I used to hate old-man oversized rings, then we got to see Stan reveal they're basically knuckledusters and now I want to make sure I have a set when I'm old.
I never understood why after the Grunkle Stan mayor episode Dipper and Mabel still went more towards Ford in likeness and taking sides, also were going against Stanley in whichever way they could.
This video sums up why Grunkle Stan is my favorite Gravity Falls character. Yeah he might look like a jerk who cares more about himself but deep down he loves Mabel and Dipper and is always there to protect them no matter what.

2. Survived and KILLED An entire Horde of zombies with brass knuckles.
3. Gotten out of a Room filled with Security Guards. WHILE CUFFED.
4. And punched 3 Bald eagles to death. And Survived a Jump while an explosion is happening. And dived into a Stock-pile of Seeds.

If there's one thing I learned watching this show, it's that Stan maybe a liar, a cheat, a money grubber and a con man, but the one thing that truly matters to him above all else, is family. And no one can deny that. When push comes to shove, he'll do anything to protect his family.
i may or may not have had an "oh no, he's hot" moment when he started swinging that baseball bat at those zombies. 💀
Can't blame you
Yeah returning to this show after almost a decade and seeing that scene over again was an interesting experience. It’s my most defining Stan moment in my mind now (mainly because he’s a badass)
for me, it was especially true when he began punching them
like hoW DARE YOU MAKE ME FEEL THINGS FOR A GRANDPA
5:25 "You made one mistake: you really pissed me off" Stanley Kujo
The fact he skillfully escaped in a 0G environment and stole someone’s wallet along the way is hilarious
“Guess i was good for something after all” DONT MAKE ME CRY LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN
1:55 I just realized that the Government Agent that’s taking Stanley away is voices by the guy that plays Ron Swanson on Parks and Rec.
It's Axe Cop
Watching this, I noticed all of his scenes being badass literally involve him protecting or doing something for the sake of his family. Despite seeing himself as a failure and below his brother as well as thinking so little of himself, his greatest moments of success come from him caring for his family over everything to the point he'd do the impossible for them. Cuz like in his own words, "Everything he worked for, everything he ever cared about, it was all for his family". 😭😭😭
Honestly this show just gets better and better the more I watch it. I love you Gravity Falls.
The moment Stan upper cuts a zombie with a knuckle duster, is the coolest moment in the entire show
1:27
Can we acknowledge that Stan punches a pterodactyl and doesn’t fall off. His leg strength must be top tier
Also by killing the final member of a naturally wiped out species he claimed the rights to say he carried out the genocide of dinosaurs by getting the last one
@@tbuckley2031wasn’t there a baby and also all the Dinos in the amber
Yeah Stanley could be really badass when he wanted tô
Miss you gravity falls😢
Then good news. Its getting a new season. It isnt really but I wanted to give you a dash of hope and then smash it.
4:58, Grunkle Stan's best move yet. For being less intelligent than Ford, that was very clever.
Of all the people he conned, he ended up conning the ultimate victim: A literal overpowered god/demon!
@@ARTSONICFAN990he even did that shit again in the book of bill
Can we all appreciate that stan didnt even graduate high school and managed to rebuild an interdimensional portal sure it took him 30 years but he was only working with journal #1 and didnt know about the invisible ink and when he did have all the journals and know of the ink it only took like what a few weeks to rebuild the portal
Stanly pretty damn smart even though he's not as smart as Stanford.

5:45 I know he's speaking backwards, but it always sounds like he's saying "dang it"
Actually what said in reverse was:
A X O L O T L!
@@elihugonzalez2945 yeah
@shadydaemon4178 so Bill WAS supposed to come back at sometime but they stopped

But your still one of my favorite villians :D
One punch
Thank the gods of Olympus that worked!!! ♊💙💙✌ Miss gravity falls drop a like?
You will return
you're a real wise guy, but u made one fatal mistake
ya bill, go to hell
All of this is even more impressive when you remember that he’s their GREAT uncle! The wiki says he’s most likely in his 60’s or older!
Most people in their physical prime couldn’t do what he does!
If you DON'T cry during that last scene when Stan gives himself up to save the world...... you are not human and you have no soul
😭❤😭❤😭
I felt this sadness too buddy.
Same
That was..very..very offensive
It's an animated show..

If he did all of this in his late 60's, I can't imagine how strong he was in his physical prime.
Can we talk about how unbelievably JACKED Stan is, He held up 2 children by a rope with 1 hand! Not to mention he also pulled both of them up afterwards, and didn’t even break a sweat
Stan Pines, the man who made an eldritch being _beg for his life_ before punching him into oblivion.
Any one notice he said "make sure I get a bigger tombstone than Ford" 4:03
Casper Lofte When?
He said "tombstone".
Around 4:01
Panda Licks2237 I noticed I'm just too lazy to fix this
It wasn't exactly hidden.
"Turn around and look at me, you one eyed demon"
I think that's Stan's most badass line
Is nobody going to talk about 2:27? This man’s perfectly times the gravity anomaly, moves around in 0G like a pro, while also foiling the entire CIA all just to bring his brother back to his dimension
"Alright you undead jerks, you ready to die TWICE?" man was pissed damn
🔥🥶🥶🥶🔥🥶🔥🥶🔥🥶🔥
Stan: when there’s no cops around *WE ARE ALL BADASSES*
im so obsessed with him he's amazing

Now that is the best scene in an animated cartoon series (excluding anime) I have ever seen
Even though it's a kids show, I distinctly remember thinking "This is where he redeems himself by sacrificing his life for the twins." more than once.
One of the most badass characters of cartoon history ever.
I used to hate old-man oversized rings, then we got to see Stan reveal they're basically knuckledusters and now I want to make sure I have a set when I'm old.
those _are_ brass knuckles lol, you can see the palm rest
WHO THOUGH WATCHING SOMEONE LIKE STAN FIGHTING WOULD BE SO BADASS? NOT ME ANYWAY
*touch*
Skyific SOMBODY TOUCHA MY SPAGHET!
I never understood why after the Grunkle Stan mayor episode Dipper and Mabel still went more towards Ford in likeness and taking sides, also were going against Stanley in whichever way they could.
Me too. Ford can be a great uncle to them too but Stan has risked his life for them multiple times
2:15 This one's my favorite
Grunkle Stan is the coolest most badass old man ever, followed by Ford
That’s the coolest Grunkle I’ve seen
It is amazing the fact that stan is 50+ years old but literally climbs through a cliff not even breaking a SWEAT
Ford may be smart and cool, but Stan is cool and smart, in that order
this has no right making as much sense as it does
"Well... This about the dumbest thing I ever done."
And coming from Stanly, that saying a lot.
Sometimes I forgot how awesome this show was.
With all the strange rules and ways you legally have to treat bald eagles it's very therapeutic to see Stan the Man punching three of them.
3:19 to 3:24
This should be on a 4th Of July video.
This video sums up why Grunkle Stan is my favorite Gravity Falls character. Yeah he might look like a jerk who cares more about himself but deep down he loves Mabel and Dipper and is always there to protect them no matter what.
