I am a retired mechanic. This was a helpful video. This basic stuff gets overlooked by a lot of people. But it's important. Well done 👍

Clearest explanation I’ve seen. Thanks. Maybe I can hook my Booster Plug now.

Thank you! Make sure the hoses don’t get pinched going back on. The fuel tank will have a “suction” when opening the lid after 50 miles or so. Watch my maintenance video “what I do when I’m not riding” my hoses were pinched.

Writing a script increases the time. I found that people follow along in their garages or outdoors. I found that some important words are hard to hear, the words I put are large and to the point.

Thanks. I wanted to remove the tank for running the wires for my aux light, setup. Much useful .👌✌🏾

I am glad it helped you out! I used a relay for my aux lights. Many use the brake running light, I used the smaller light in the head light assy as the relay trigger. You can see the aux lights on my wife's bike in the 462cc fuel economy video.

I have an “install” version. It gives tips to put the bolts in without harming the nuts.

I did this today and got gas everywhere 😂 is that because I turned the tank upside down ?

    • @Mytwistedvoices

Yes, the tanks are vented to let air in when gas is pulled in to the engine. I never turn a fuel tank upside down unless I’m trying to drain it of fuel. Fuel tanks often have a tube at the top of the tank on the inside. By rotating the tank fuel can get in this tube and when rotated back some fuel will spill out. I learned this a long time ago on a Honda.
