I actually played the demo with no HUD and it's like playing old school survival horror because you need to check your inventory to view your health and it wasn't to difficult adjusting to having no reticle on your screen. Also I turned it off anyways cause there wasn't an option to turn off the annoyingly distracting button prompts. Definitely playing it with no HUD for the full release
I do like how unique this boss feels in the original ... Walks slowly but is mentally unstable and can snap at any moment ... You almost feels sorry for this sorry creature
The fact that they made the remake version so intimidating makes me excited to see what they'll do with the other bosses. Especially Verdugo and the Regenerators :)

I came to a point in the original where no music was playing and the Garador in the cage sounded like an injured dinosaur. It was quite terrifying actually. I didn’t move I kept watching as he kept walking around.
This is the trailer that sold me. I got this game at blockbuster with my dad when I was very young. I never even finished it because the first 30 minutes were just to scary. Since then I got a little older and have played all the resident evil games so far and love the series. I pre ordered RE4 and get to pick it up tomorrow and finally play what I was to afraid to play all those years ago but enhanced for ps5.
I think they took it off because people used it as a crutch in the original, so they took that crutch away and make people adapt to shooting without the laser sight

That was a waste of bullets shooting the bell - just use the knife then step out of the way. Also, with regard to no bells being visible in the remake footage there are chains hanging down from the ceiling which make a noise when Leon walks into them - that seems to attract the attention of the Garrador and Leon cusses when he causes the chain noise. I'm suspecting that in the remake a quick slash at a chain with the knife then a stealthy retreat while the Garrador madly attacks the source of noise will be the way forward.
I dont like boss in this game cause its too easy and obvious..... I can just knife the crap of them without no damage but it take to long to kill them that way so I just snipe there back quicker. hope remake is harder

Garrador in the original dont feel like a boss fight. I remember fighting him and assumed its a new type of regular enemy. The remake made him feel like he’s an actual boss. Well done.

Wow, this is so cinematic. It's awesome, i just realized how many great unique encounters and boss fights were in this game, and theybreslly took advantage of mechanics in the remake.
That damn fight was so intense for me I friggin forgot there were stupid bells around. The game was so well done i played the whole first playthrough 90 of the time not understanding where I was at... And I had just played the original recently and could onyl identify the major set pieces. The rest, I mean it was a whole new game, not just a remake, I mean thats a full blown overhaul while maintaining the story beats and paying homage to the original. That's for sure a GOTY contender, I think I liked it more than Ragnarok and Horizon:FW.

At moment i am playing resident evil 4 on pc but the ultimate HD version which took awhile to get use to the robotic movement with the camera not properly looking around and run stop shoot but I enjoying it. I for first time got the rocket launcher and took out salazar in changed form with one shot usually I would be on that for a while using the magnum.
I like alot of the OG better than the remake however I must say this character is much much better the way it is created and animated. And the room is not too dark at least.

This takes place on the dock that has the boat tied to it that you use during the Del Lago boss fight, and before you fight Del Lago. In "Original RE 4" if you walk to the end of this dock and look at your feet you will see some weird pulsing thing in the water right in front of you. If you shoot this weird pulsing thing like 3 or 4 times Del Lago jumps out of the lake and bites you in half while your on the dock. I'm curious to know if "The Del Lago Death" is in "RE 4 Remake". The parry system is great and innovative, but perhaps doesn't fit in the Resident evil universe. Nevertheless, combat feels awesome.

Will be my first time playing RE4. Played all of the other remakes up to now. Waiting for the PSVR2 version..It will be an experience I am sure 😊
I would hold off expectations on PSVR2. From what I’ve heard development on that mode has just started so it’s unsure what it will even entail.

The remake garrador is so easy😂😂. Two magnum shots and he's down. I'm still having fun though. Leon being sluggish is the only reason I'd struggle.
