Yeah, well. Afaik, the non-GPS locating methods used by phones rely on maps of WiFi networks. (Mistakes while gathering such map data got Google in all kinds of trouble some years back.) Targeting that includes flight over large areas or where WiFi isn't prolific will be very problematic. Also, it will probably be easy to get people to shut down their WiFi once it becomes known that it's a targeting means.
I had the Impression that with some. Of The first clusters delivered to Ukraine they separated out the parts and dropped them with drones. Am I wrong on this?

Isn't it illegal for an unauthorized individual to negotiate with foreign governments having a dispute with the US? This is the US Logan Act, though it is rarely used. Perhaps General Kellogg postponed his trip to Ukraine to make sure he doesn't break that law. If so, that's encouraging, because Trump has previously been flouting this law.
Remarks on January 8th from an international investigative researcher living in the United States so let me clarify why Mr Trump's General Kellogg change the visit. Since Mr Trump is not yet in office his General has no real standing in doing a visit to your country. Perhaps this was a bit premature but it means nothing. It is appropriate for General Kellogg to come when he is a formal representative and that's the only reason why this visit has been changed because it's considered two out of the ordinary to do something like this when he's going to be inaugurated so soon in fact I don't think it's ever been done. And perhaps and Mr Trump's haste to my absolutely support 100% this was something that was overlooked but he meant well so give no Credence to anything anybody says especially in the Democratic party on this side of the pond because they still hate Mr Trump and they're doing everything to tarnish his upcoming Administration but again Mr Trump is being directly with everybody in the European Union putting in their fair share because something's got to shake them them up we will be at War very soon.

Maybe he's referring to the whole Kursk expedition as a whole when saying that, but in the context of a "renewed" attack that went nowhere and gained nothing it sounds very callous and blockheaded.
I think he's saying that armor basically parked in Donbas is vulnerable and ineffective. He's saying that moving some of that to Kursk where it could be used much more effectively towards a strategic goal, made sense.
Although NATO operations practice is well established... in fairness, a NATO force has not been engaged in fighting a 'parity' adversary for decades. Current NATO doctrine relies on air superiority. NATO has not in recent history been involved in conflicts where this doesnt exist. So I think its really unfair to expect or criticise AFU for 'failing' militarily. I think the AFU is now far better placed to teach NATO how to fight war in this current conflict. I'm not convinced NATO troops from any country, including the US, would fair any better without complete control of the skies over the battlefield and enemy territory.
Book spoilers! So I'm a fan of the books, I read them all when I was 12 and it's still my most favourite book series. I was waiting for years for this movie to be made. When I saw it I liked it all the way until the end. The end of the movie is where they really diverge from the book plot. So in the first book, London is completely destroyed with no survivors and that event starts a world war between the traction cities and the anti traction league. Of all the characters only Tom and Hester survive the first book. By changing that in the movie they got rid of any reason for a continued series based on the rest of the books.
Indonesia getting closer to putin through BRICS has been a concern, for me as an Australian, for some time since the ruzzian invasion began. I can see major differences but also some similarities. Indonesia is predominantly muslim and have become increasingly stricter with its laws. They have a large army on our doorstep and to a large extent Australia has put its hopes in the alliance and "friendship" of the US . This has annoyed many Australians but we are split because the pragmatists understand that our position requires allies. The concern is that they will side with China and iff there is a large conflagration, what our position will be. The second trump term promises to be much worse than the first and US citizens who opposed trump are throwing ther arms up in defeat and blocking their eyes and ears. Our weakness is our worst enemy.
Tbilisi has managed to avoid the Ukrainian scenario, but the struggle to maintain peace in the country continues, the political council of the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party said in a statement. "With great efforts and through an uncompromising struggle, Georgia managed to avoid the Ukrainian scenario. However, the struggle for peace continues, and this battle must be brought to an end," the statement said. The party reminded that as long as the fighting in Ukraine persists, there will always be efforts to establish a "second front" in Georgia. In this regard, the party's political council emphasized that the people of Georgia must fight to the bitter end to ensure their survival. The statement also referenced the attempts by the so-called Deep State to control Washington and its foreign policy. The Georgian authorities believe that the current global crises, including the situation in Ukraine, are the result of actions by the Deep State. "The Deep State has staged the flames of war in numerous countries of the world. The most devastating effect of the Deep State ammunition has been inflicted on our friendly country, Ukraine. Kiev had sovereignty, territorial integrity, peace and almost $200 billion economy before 2014, but today it is almost destroyed, while the Maidan plotters won't take any responsibility for this," the Georgian Dream noted. On February 25, 2022, then-Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced that he had no plans to impose sanctions on Russia, citing national interests as the reason. In early March of the same year, Vladimir Zelensky recalled the Ukrainian ambassador from Tbilisi in response to the Georgian government's position on sanctions. The government's decision was also criticized by the opposition, which accused the authorities of collaborating with Russia. Additionally, leaders of the ruling party frequently accused Ukrainian authorities and certain European politicians of attempting to open a second front in Georgia. They believe that certain forces are trying to provoke Russia into launching parallel military operations in the country.
