I agree that Russia delenda est but I think the hesitation by the EU regarding the confiscation of their 300 billion is not on account of any substantial disagreement but rather due to the legal uncertainty that comes with such a move, which a judge may well eventually rule to have been unlawful. We need to be prepared to shoulder the cost ourselves. This doesn't seem that hard to do since it's both the only moral choice as well as the most convenient one given the value of Ukraine's economy which will eventually be merged into our block once Russia's plans are thwarted.
Ukraine has already had much more than 300 billion and is still losing (has lost really). Stealing foreign exchange from Euroclear would cause capital flight and the EU is already a basket case because of Net Zero madness and the Russian sanctions.

I have a friend and former coworker who supports Russia. He's a reasonable man in most other ways, but he has a Russian wife and is strongly predisposed to following the Russian narrative on the war. When he raises cases such as the given example of Ukrainian corruption, I will counter by asking; "if this exact thing happened in Russia, would Russian media be legally permitted to talk about it? Would they be permitted to discuss how this demonstrates an underlying problem in the Russian armed forces?" We need to talk about corruption. We need to acknowledge that Ukraine has problems with corruption. But so long as Russia continues to police it's media and make itself as opaque as possible, we cannot consider this as an argument against Ukraine.
Russia resolutely opposes the placing of NATO troops in Ukraine as this would cause the situation to spiral out of control, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned. "Any intervention of NATO forces in Ukraine risks escalating the conflict beyond control. This scenario is absolutely unacceptable to Russia," the diplomat stressed at a news briefing. "We have taken notice of reports about Westerners’ plans to deploy their troops in support, as they put it, of a peace agreement," Zakharova said. She cited a January 16 report from British media saying that the UK prime minister and the French president had a closed-door meeting to discuss sending their militaries to Ukraine "on a potential peacekeeping mission." "And on January 18, the German defense chief did not rule out sending German soldiers to Ukraine `to help secure’ a certain demilitarized zone there, once a ceasefire is laid down," Zakharova continued.
As for the corruption charges being bad for morale, wouldn't it actually bolster morale to know that such crimes are prosecuted and severely punished, and to know that those who'd pay corrupt officials to shirk their duty now have one less opportunity to do so? Like ms Berlin said, Ukrainian corruption is real. That fact would hardly be news to the front-line troops. Trying to put myself in their shoes for a second, I think I'd much prefer corruption be publicly prosecuted than be ignored, underestimated or even condoned (or encouraged/necessitated, as is the case in Moscow), especially when it harms me and my comrades at the front.

The garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine grinded in the town of Velyka Novoselka is doomed. The 110th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU was not allowed to retreat timely. As a result Ukrainian forces fell into a cauldron. Russian forces launched a successful breakthrough and cut the Ukrainian garrison in two parts. They advanced along the Shaitanka river in the center of the town. As a result Ukrainian forces were surrounded in the southern part of Velyka Novoselka. The Russian military proposed Ukrainians to surrender and leave the cauldron along Azovskaya street towards the village of Blagodatnoe. The doomed groups of Ukrainian soldiers in the cauldron were give a short time to make a decision and save their lifes before the mop up operations. The Ukrainian military command prohibits Ukrainians to surrender. As always, Ukrainians are forced to resist and sacrifice their lifes for political goals of the Kyiv regime. Positions of Ukrainian forces in the northern part of the city are not better. The only way out of the town lays along the flooded fields and a river on the northwestern outskirts. This area is also under close Russian fire control. Meanwhile, Russian forces advance along the streets from all directions. The pincer grip in and around the town is tightening. The Russian military is yet to secure and reinforce its control in the center of Velyka Novoselka but Ukrainian defense was ruined and the separate groups of Ukrainian soldiers have no chance to change the course of the battle. The 11oth Brigade of the AFU already suffered heavy losses. According to preliminary reports, there are more than 150 of its members killed in battles. This number may drastically increase if the surrounded Ukrainians do not surrender.

Additionally, Trump is seeking financial support from European countries to help cover the costs of maintaining the remaining U.S. forces in the region.
