Hi guys, welcome back to my channel! Maiba naman ang content ko guys at feel ko nakakasawa na kasi yung madalas kong gala sa labas and vlogs with the family and friends, so this time, solong-solo ko na ang camera! 😅 To be honest, hindi ako sanay sa ganitong style ng pag-vlog (pasensya na kung makulit o magulo ah, kabado bente kasi ako eh HAHA) pero let's try something new for 2023! Ayun na nga, dumating na ang aking matagal na hinihintay ̷(̷s̷i̷ ̷c̷r̷u̷s̷h̷ ̷m̷w̷a̷h̷ ̷h̷i̷h̷i̷ ̷d̷e̷j̷k̷ ̷b̷a̷k̷a̷ ̷n̷a̷m̷a̷n̷)̷ ang aking UPOU ID! 💓 Matagal ko siya hinintay (nag-apply ako ng December, January na nakarating) and finally, let's unbox my UPOU ID!
Sa wakas, may ID na rin ako! Hindi na ko outcast kapag pupunta ng UPD for the buildings and ganaps pati syempre, OFFICIALLY A UPOU STUDENT NA AKO! 😁 Also, reveal ko na rin yung mga UP merch na binili ko while I was at UPD with my BFF. All that I can say is I'm proud to be a student at UP Open University at may pang-flex 💪 ng status na rin ako!

Hello Mikmik! Since UPOU is an online-based school, the essential needs for the students studying here are:
📱 Gadgets that they will need for online learning (computer/laptop/cellphone/tablet) and 📶 A stable wifi connection to browse the internet and the MyPortal website (our "school"). Physical school supplies such as notebooks and books aren't needed but can still be used to enhance the learning experience here. 😊

Hello! Nung time ko po, sa gforms po kami nag-apply for ID. I think if nagbigay na po kayo ng information niyo po such as signature, ID picture, and other details, ayan na po yung application sa UPOU ID! 😁

Hello Jean! If you are asking about SY 2024-2025, in the UPU website, the first trimester classes start at September 23, 2024. For your second question, in my Batch (2022), we didn't take exams and just passed our requirements. Based on those who took the exam (the batch that came after me), they only took an online exam in their homes lang rin. No need to go to UPOU HQ for that kasi sa UPOU, we are online students so we must maximize our online presence. 😁 I hope this helps!

Hello Mariel! Mostly asynchronous po ang classes here sa UPOU, while some subjects have online meetings (depende po sa prof and course na tinake po nila)! 😁

Hindi na ako naka pag aral .at tinaoos ko po ang highschool through ALS po .old curriculum po pwedi po ba ako mag enroll dito kasi online lang po ito at pwedi kahit saan ka? Sana po masagot gusto ko po kagkaroon ng diploma kahit ano po basta merun magawa sa Buhay 😔😔
Hello! Yes po, pwedeng-pwede po kayo mag-enroll sa UPOU as long as mapasa niyo po ang UPCAT (entrance exam) at yung requirements na need po (such as original form 137, 138). Yes po, sa UPOU po, purely online lang po ang studying modality kaya pwede po kayo mag-aral kahit saang lugar po kayo. Hello Alejandrina! Sadly, the UPOU ID we have is not RFID, unlike UPD ID. Currently, the UPOU still has the standarized ID and there aren't ways to get an RFID. We usually get stickers per sem to have the validity of our ID to avail student discounts and benefits! 😊 Goodluck on your upcoming UPOU journey! Padayon! 🌻

Hello! Studying here sa UPOU is purely online and most of the time, asychronous ang subjects (meaning hindi siya timed and bihira lang magkaroon ng scheduled zoom meetings). The profs will give out the activities, assignments, and modules during the semester, and it's up to us kung kelan natin gagawin and babasahin ang mga iyan. It caters to us UPOU students that we work on our time and on our own basis! 😊❤

You can study anywhere, anytime dito po sa UPOU kahit po nasa abroad po kayo! 😊 Since online modality naman po sa UPOU, we spend most of our time studying in an online manner and using our MyPortal website. Sa ID po, pwede po kayo makapag-apply though the form. Shipping fee and waiting time for deliver lang po aasikasuhin hehe.. 😄

UPOU is an online-based university so kahit nasaan ka man, from Philippines to abroad, okay na okay po dito mag-aral! 😊 Here sa UPOU, we spent most of our time studying asynchronously at mnsan, may mga synch classes through zoom (pero bihira lang). Ang mga profs, fics, tutors, at teachers ng UPOU ay galing din sa iba't-ibang lalawigan so meeting them isn't necessary as online-based talaga ang learning modality here sa UPOU!

Hi! It took about a month sa paghihintay ko ng UPOU ID ko! 😊 I applied nung December 2022 and received it nung January 2023! There's an updated UPOU ID na pa-portrait ang orientation unlike mine na pa-landscape pa. You're welcome po! 🌻❤

Hello! UPOU is an online-based university so wala pong F2F classes unlike other UP Campuses. This means pwede po mag-aral at mag-work po ang mga students depending on their status po if regular (full-time) student or working student po sila. 😊 For thesis, it depends po if Associate proram or Bachelors program ang kukunin po nila sa UPOU. If Bachelors po, meron pong thesis during their 4th year po!

Hello Lloyd! I ordered my ID on December 5 and received it on January 22! It would take 1 month or so (but it depends rin sa location of your home address!) ☺
You can either have it delivered to you (and pay for the shipping fee worth 150 php) or go to the UPOU HQ located at Los Banos to claim it for free! I hope you get your ID soon! 🌻

Hi Vixen! UPOU focuses entirely on being an online-based distance learning system, which means that sadly, wala pong f2f classes ang UPOU. 😢 Students here study at their homes, local and abroad, but there are occasionally F2F activities for the UPOU community! It's a bit sad that we have do not experience the "regular college life" (F2F classes and a physical campus), but we each have our own way to get the best out of our stay here! 😉💟
