Sir nung nag enroll po kayo sa DCS, marunong na po kayo mag coding. Gusto ko sana mag enroll kaso dapat proficient in at least 1 programming language ? Hindi po ba ako mahihirapan, hindi po ako proficient ng ano mang langauge.

I don’t really RECOMMEND enrolling dun sa CLSU DISTANCE kineme na yun. I have a friend who applied there 3 years ago and after she submitted everything and they acknowledged they received it. She DID NOT receive any update re; her application until the start of classes began no Update. They did not even bother informing her if she was accepted or not to the program. It seems that they are bias on accepting students even in their graduate programs. My friend said they kept asking her questions about her program of choice in separate emails even though the information was all attached in her sent email like seriously? Before you do that they should evaluate her credentials and documents first, they could also have reached her through her contact number but they didn’t. My friend said when she was inquiring through a phone call, the person who answered seemed very unimpressed. She said “something was off from the moment I reached through them. I even texted them many times but - they only reply short to none at all. I don’t recommend enrolling there, enroll in UPOU instead and DO NOT waste your time” !!!
Good morning po! Congratulations! Question lang po may I know po kung gaano ka difficult ang exam sa UPOU? I am planning to enroll next year at I admit hindi po ako ganun ka talino, any tips po? At saang subject po dapat ako mag focus sa exam? Thank you po ❤️

As for your question, it varies on the course you're planning to take. and For as long as you're determined and focus on your goal, then you'll be able to complete the course. Time Management is the key. :) Best of luck on your plans and stay safe.

Hello po! First of all, congratulations po to both of you. I just wanna ask some questions po sana about the admissions to UPOU. I'm planning to enter kasi this coming 2021. I am just curious about how rigorous they are in the admission process, like, do you need to have a high undergrad GWA, or should you have any awards or high-caliber work experience, kasi for me I'm only working at a medium-scale entity and I also worked with our LGU so I'm not sure if those factors will affect my admissions should I plan to pursue with it po. Also, I'm still turning 22, and relatively young, and I can't help but wonder if age is a factor in their selection as well. Anyway, sana nga po makuha for 2021. I really want to get R&D Management or Public Management po kasi. One is a diploma degree with no admissions exam, while the other is a Master's degree with an entrance exam.

Anyway as per your question, the admission process for UPOU varies depending on the program where they specifically listed their criteria for acceptance. Since you intend to take a post graduate degree, it is important that you have a solid work background that is related to the program of your choice since it is required to submit a strong work reference. Some programs also require admission exams while others equate it with an excellent essay. A good undergrad GWA also matters but I'm not sure about the need to have awards, etc. Other than this, you just need to present whatever is needed to the school and pray for the best! @@GAVLOG86 Thank you so much for the information, sir. I will try my luck this upcoming 2021 admissions. After all, I already have my work experience with me as a worker under our local government unit, and I hope that, along with my academic track record, would be enough for admissions. ❤️

@@brydenkim Yes. May virtual graduation rites lang this coming November 20, 2020. Hiningan lang kami ng pic na naka sablay for the said rites. Aattend pa rin ako next year if ever pwede na talaga.

May entrance exam ba sa post diploma?
If my memory serves me correct, I think yung exam namin is called Distance e-Learning Readiness Exam. Mga 5 items ata yun. Tas may recommendation letters, application letter mo, etc.
As far as I can remember, In our case, we only submitted an essay and recommendation form to be filled out by our previous and current bosses.

@@bryanmanangan Di siya essay eh. Tas may second attempt, yung highest will be you final score. It could be answered in less than 10-15 minutes. Twice ako nag take nito kasi twice din akong nag enroll sa UP, first yung PTC and yung recent is ang DLLE. I hope this helps☺️

Hi. 8,400 or 8,600 pesos per sem nababayran ko sa UPOU for 6 units included na lahat dyan. Anyway, I'm also a post-grad (graduating next month kaso Covid-19 so virtual na lang) student from Faculty of Education 😁
rannierex 1989 what program did you take po? And how long was it?
@@blackpearlangelyul Hi. Diploma in Language and Literacy Education. It's a post-grad degree (21units). Normally, it'll take you 4 semesters or 2 years to finish the program. However, it may take longer if you'll enroll 3 units lang per sem🙂

Kamiss yung mga seminar ni GKV. Pag meron syang seminar for the class, umaattend talaga ako. Twice ko syang naging prof sa electives ko. Sobrang amazed ako sa kanya. Ang galing nya! 💪
Graduating ako this sem kaso napostpone graduation namin because of the pandemic kaya hanggang video nalang muna ako ng mga commencement exercises sa OU. 😅
