Good call out on the half day tours and the jet lag! I was originally planning a full day of things for the day after I landed but decided to switch it up 🙌🏽 I would’ve hated myself being out in that Dubai sun all day after 16 hours of flying!
Loved your vlog. Your perspective on your trip was very helpful. Especially regarding the souks and people staring. That is something to definitely get mentally prepared for. Thanks!
What month did you go, nov? We are looking to go end of May and wife is worried about the heat. July and august is dreadful 😫. Not sure about end of May.
We went in September right after the hot season & it was still pretty hot, I’m suspecting May will be hot too but a lot of excursions are done at night to avoid daytime heat & every indoor place or taxi is heavily air conditioned. Shops and stores are often open very late like 3-5 AM. I’d still recommend going in May even though the heat may be ramping up , just plan to stay indoors during the day, wear all loose fitting clothes, sunglasses and lots of SPF including on your hands, feet & lips.
They will not, I believed it only happened because it was just two American women. They may not even acknowledge you if you have a man present. For example if you get a taxi they may only greet your boyfriend and ignore you. Not my personal experience, I just heard that in another vlog. Hope that’s helpful & safe travels!! ❤️❤️
We were only in Abu Dhabi for a but we had shorts and t shirts on after the mosque visit so I think you’ll be fine but I’d ask for second opinions for sure
This is so helpful!!! I’ll definitely check prices at the mall to ensure I have a gauge of pricing before I visit the Souq. Thank you!

@@CierraLeone I’m in Dubai now so this is helped me out for sure!
Great and helpful video! Did you pay for things with cash or electronic payment? With electronic payment did you pay in US dollars or Dirham?
Both! Everything I bought I used my card including taxes, but if you have dirham at the souks you’ll get a better deal
Also thank you! & thanks for watching!! 😊❤️
@@CierraLeone thanks

Thank you for the tips for Dubai. I'm going in December with my boyfriend. Will they still be aggressive when we're together?

@@CierraLeone 45 days and counting
I was with one of my male friends and they were still aggressive towards us
@@JusImperfecct thanks for the information I have 22 days and counting!
Hows the dress code for abu dhabi. I heard its more conservative?

No metro?
They do have metro! From the airport down past the marina
I never rode it but I did see it, and I’m sure its much cheaper than taxis , I heard of another video mention day passes you could get
Me n my husband plannin to go Dubai
What the best hotel
N do Dubai really expensive
It can be expensive depending on what you do. We stayed at the Hilton near marina beach.
the biggest city in Dubai is United Arab Emirates.
The United Arab Emirates is the country & Abu Dhabi is the largest Emirate (which is like a state)
But Dubai does have the largest population
